*Fresh 289 V8
*A Code
*Power Top
*Full Console
*SOLID FLOORBOARDS AND FRAMERAILS

Thanks for looking, this is the one of the best deal 66' Ford Mustangs on eBay! This gorgeous White pony is originally from Dearborn,MI and spent its life in the dry climate. The white on black combination really pops!!

This convertible pony comes highly optioned with things such as a powerful and fresh A Code 289 V8 paired to a smooth C-4 automatic transmission, power top, interior console, bucket seats, factory wire wheel covers, like new white wall radials & the list goes on and on.

The interior of this car is an easy 8 out of 10. All seating surfaces great as well as the carpet and dash. The black canvas top on this car had a small cut about an 1" long that was patched and barely noticeable.

This pony was repainted about 15 years ago and was a very, very nice paint job, but does have very minor chips here and there that have been touched up. The car can be easily driven as is but for a perfect 10 car it could use a repaint. The factory exterior trim does have  very minor pitting and light hair line scratches but is not noticeable unless you are right on it. Pics available upon request.

Mechanically, this mustang is sound. All mechanical and electrical components are in fine working order and this car is ready to drive ANYWHERE you desire. The engine has been fully refreshed and runs like a dream with ZERO signs of overheating or leaking. All lights function as they should. Tires and brakes are in good functioning condition. Fluids have all been replaced.

The metal work on this mustang is about as solid as it gets. The underside appears to be original and in great condition. Frame rails, floor boards, and shock towers are all in good, solid original condition. Not "show" but good original condition.

To sum it up, this is a fine example of American Muscle History. This pony is ready to show or go!! International bidders welcome. Inspections are welcome and encouraged, but , by appointment only. Call today with any questions. 305-525-1731

How the 2015 Ford Mustang will save your knees

Sat, 21 Jun 2014

The 2015 Mustang is one of the most hotly anticipated vehicles of the moment, and Ford continues to leak out interesting little details about its newest pony car. The latest info doesn't have anything to do with its quarter-mile time or handling, but if any of that goes drastically wrong, the innovative new glovebox-mounted airbag may prevent passengers from knee injuries.
All variants of the 2015 Mustang get the active knee airbag as standard, and it's the first vehicle in Ford's lineup to receive the system. The setup is actually quite simple and ingenious. The glovebox is made from a plastic outer panel that is attached to the inner door. Sandwiched between them is this new injection-molded plastic bladder that folds flat when in use. If the passenger-side airbag deploys, the system springs into action to act as a cushion for your knees. Compared to a traditional knee airbag that has to fully inflate, this arrangement is 65 percent lighter and can use a 75 percent smaller inflator. It's also basically invisible when you look at the glovebox door.
Ford spokesperson Ed Saenz declined to tell Autoblog whether the system will appear in other vehicles in the Blue Oval's lineup but said, "We're considering other applications." Provided it's effective, the approach seems too simple not to make its way to other products. Scroll down to watch a video showing how the glovebox-mounted knee airbag works.

2015 Ford Shelby GT350, GT350R Mustang option pricing leaked [UPDATE]

Tue, Apr 28 2015

UPDATE: Ford wasn't willing to elaborate on Mustang6G's pricing report, with spokesperson Said Deep simply saying, "We haven't announced pricing at this time." The limited availability of the new 2015 GT350 and GT350R isn't the only Ford Mustang news today, as a leaked report by Mustang6G has shined a light on the cost of the optional equipment we first reported on way back in January. First, we have the standard GT350. As we reported earlier, only 50 cars will get the $7,500-Tech Package, which includes magnetic ride control, navigation with Sync 3, dual-zone climate control, and heated, air-conditioned, leather-upholstered, and powered seats. The other 50 standard models will get the $6,500-Track Package. You'll still get magnetic ride control, selectable driving modes and enhanced cooling systems for the engine oil, trans and diff. Stand-alone navigation is $795, a black roof is $695, stripes are $475, and as with the standard Mustang, Triple Yellow Clearcoat paint is $495. Fancy one of the just 37 GT350Rs? You'll pony up (pun intended) an extra $3,500 on top of the price of a GT350. From there, Mustang6G cites a $3,000-SVT Touring Package, which we think references the Electronics Package (navigation, Sync 3, and dual-zone climate control). Outside of those two items, the GT350R's only additional options include a black roof, stand-alone nav, and stripes, all of which carry the same price as the standard car. Like our report earlier today, these prices appear to only be for the 2015 model. While production outputs for the 2016 will probably increase, we can't be sure whether these prices be carried over, as well. Mustang6G claims it will have a starting price "very soon," which we'll naturally bring you as soon as it's published. We've also reached out to Ford to confirm this report as well as get any info on the GT350's starting price. Stay tuned. Related Video:

Ford ditching Microsoft in favor of BlackBerry QNX for next-gen Sync?

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

Ask the average consumer - at least, those who follow the goings-on in the automotive industry - which carmaker they'd most closely associate Microsoft, and the answer you'd most likely get would be Ford. The Blue Oval automaker, after all, was at the forefront of bringing Microsoft technology into cars with its pioneering Sync system, and, though reality didn't turn out as such, Ford's CEO was recently touted as a potential future head of the Redmond-based software giant. But that relationship, according to the latest reports, could be coming to an end.
Alan Mullaly kiboshed the idea of leaving Dearborn for Redmond, but more importantly Ford is tipped to be ditching Microsoft in developing its next-generation Sync system. In its place, Ford is expected to partner with BlackBerry's QNX division.
Now, before you go balking "BlackBerry?! But they're finished!" consider that QNX is (or at least was) an independent entity that Research In Motion (as BlackBerry's Ontario-based parent company was then known) just happened to have bought back in 2010. QNX provides control systems to everything from nuclear power plants and UAVs to automakers like Audi, BMW and Porsche.
