This 65 Mustang has received lots of TLC and it shows. Every step of the restoration has been fully documented with receipts and pictures. Though this 65 Mustang was originally a six cylinder, it has been upgraded to better than original condition as a 289 V8. The engine has been rebuilt and runs beautifully. The current owner completely disassembled the mechanical components, cleaned and detailed the engine and engine compartment, and replaced the two barrel carb and intake with a new Edelbrock performer intake and Holley 650 cfm 4 barrel. All the hoses, wires, clamps, fuel lines, and filters have been replaced with OE reproduction parts. The vehicle comes with power steering and power brakes and the complete brake system has been replaced with all new parts including a new power booster and dual master cylinder. This incredible Mustang Restomod comes with dual exhaust flowmaster mufflers, custom leather interior (including the trunk), a high end stereo system and a brand new Painless wiring system. Ford Fusion spied in souped-up ST trim
Wed, Sep 2 2015Ford produces a wide array of performance machinery, but it's traditionally reserved the letters ST for hot hatches like the Fiesta ST and Focus ST. That changes with the vehicle you see here: the heavily camouflaged Fusion ST. This prototype is wearing bigger wheels and tires, upgraded brake rotors and calipers, enhanced bodywork, and quad exhaust tips – all the telltale signs of something more potent and capable. The performance version of Dearborn's midsize sedan is tipped to pack a version of the company's 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6. That's anticipated to channel upwards of 300 horsepower to all four-wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission, but we can hold out hope that maybe, just maybe, Ford will offer a three-pedal manual. One way or another, the Fusion ST will make a worthy successor (and then some) to the old Contour SVT. That model was offered in the late 1990s with a naturally aspired 2.5-liter Duratec V6 packing 202 horsepower, which may have been solid by yesterday's standards, but promises to be left in the dust by this new model. Look for the Fusion ST to accompany the facelifted Fusion sedan early next year. Enthusiastic customers in other markets can also hope for a Mondeo ST to be offered overseas as well. Related Video:

With the Pebble Beach festivities kicking off this week, including any number high end car auctions, we thought it would be entertaining to compile a list of some to the most expensive cars ever sold with the bang of a gavel. Trouble is, once you get past the splendor of everyone's favorite Italian sports car maker, that list is pretty boring.
Ferrari dominates the all-time auction sales list; seven of the top ten most expensive cars sold wear the Cavallino Rampante badge, as well as more than half of the top fifty. Sure, a nearly $30-million Mercedes-Benz W196 racecar might be the new top dog as of last year, but it's even possible that Ferrari could take that title back in Monterey this weekend. Long story short: we think a list of the most expensive American cars ever sold at auction is a lot more entertaining to read. Hell, our list has a friggin' Batmobile on it, how can it go wrong?
