It has a fiberglass body, 2 x 4 tube frame, ladder bar rear suspension with coil over shocks. Front is a 4" drop chrome tube axle with radius rods. New spindles ,new disc brake kit, new king pins, new aluminum tie rods, new vega steering box, 10 bolt Chevy rear end, drum brakes, stock 305 small block Chevy engine, new rebuilt 350 turbo trans, Eldebrock victor intake, 600 Eldebrock carb, new radiator, Kragar drag star wheels, pro track rear tires by Koker, dunlop front tires, wheels and tires are like new. Has a 1/4" lexan windshield, B & M shifter, chrome headers with mufflers, new tach, black interior, Sims hot rod black paint with pin striping. Does need a proper front end alignment. New hielm joints front and rear. The 305 motor carries the car very well plus you can cruise this car without breaking the bank and a real little sweet car to drive. No trades. 2013 Ford F-150 Limited
Mon, 28 Jan 2013The Ford F-150 received yet another new model for the 2013 model year, the Limited trim, bringing the ways you can order this country's most popular vehicle to a grand total of 10. There really is an F-150 to suit any need now, and the Limited variant slots in at the very top of the range, above the already pampering Platinum model.
While normally I would admit that I'm the least-appropriate person to test a pickup, the fact that this particular trim places a much higher premium on luxury than anything with a bed and Blue Oval badge before it means that I don't need the workman chops of a skilled tradesman to judge how well this truck meets its true aim.

Ford Mustang 50th anniversary edition brings in $170k
Tue, 30 Sep 2014Just the other day, we reported on the first Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat selling for a whopping $825,000 at auction. But impressive as that sum was, the Challenger wasn't the only sought-after modern muscle car to cross the Barrett-Jackson auction block in Las Vegas this past weekend. So did this rare Ford Mustang.
The last of 1,964 special-edition 50 Years Limited Edition pony cars sold for a princely $170,000, with proceeds benefiting the Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute, a branch of the Henry Ford Health System.
The pony car in question is based on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT and upgrades with a performance package and nearly every option on the book, along with a unique appearance package to set it apart in celebration of the Mustang's 50th anniversary. It's available in two exclusive shades - Wimbledon white or Kona blue - with either a manual or automatic transmission. Only 1,964 highly symbolic examples were to be built, and this was the last of them.
Ford Escort returns, just not for US
Sat, 19 Apr 2014Ford is set to give the burgeoning Chinese market its very own C-segment model, while also reviving one of the brand's more notable nameplates. The new Escort, which will make its world debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show will be built in the People's Republic at the Changan Ford joint venture facility.
The Escort's exterior is best thought of as a mix of the finer points from the US market Focus and Fusion, with the Aston Martin-ish grille and narrow, wraparound taillights presenting a clean look at either end of the car. It's all fairly true to the concept car from last year's Shanghai Motor Show. That said, this exterior job is almost too clean. There doesn't seem to be a lot of character or substance beyond the typical Ford looks.
There's a similar issue in the cabin - it all looks pretty nice, but the design is rather plain, particularly when viewed alongside the display-filled cabin of a US-spec car. Still, there looks to be a fair amount of space in both the front and back seats, and the trunk isn't exactly tiny, either.
