THIS CAR HAS NOT BEEN SEEN IN PUBLIC OR AT ANY CAR SHOWS IN A FINISHED STATE! HAS NOT HAD ANY PERSONALIZING OF ANY TYPE! NO PIN STRIPING! ALL THAT HAS BEEN SAVED FOR A BUYER TO DO!!

Here we have our 1926 Ford Model T sedan Custom build. Lets start right off by saying this is a right hand drive street/hot rod/rat rod! Now ur thinking it will be very difficult to drive a right hand drive vehicle! Wrong!! Everyday postal carriers drive right hand drive vehicles and most of Europe drives right hand drive vehicles! If they can do it so can U!!!  It has a custom built steel tubing chassis with a 4in Z in the front and a 15in Z in the rear. With 4 link rear suspension with a coil over shock system.  In front we have a ford model a suicide style front axle with model B wish bones spilt with tie rod ends and custom built friction shocks.  Also included in the front suspension is a factory Corvair Aluminum steering gear with a new 360deg pitman arm from Speedway Motors. Front spindles are factory ford 37-48 with a new Speedway Motors disc brake kit and a 2in raised steering arm. The body is an original steel Henry Ford 1926 Model T Sedan.  It was in excellent cond before the custom body work was done. It has an 8in chop with the rear window being sectioned flipped and chopped 6in. the Visor is completely custom made as is the windshield header panel and the windshield still hinges and swings out. The roof is a custom cut Hickory hand scraped hardwood floor. Mounted down with over 30 polished brass acorn nuts. The cowl has also has a length of factory style hood welting that has been laid in place with more polished brass acorn nuts and house’s the original 11 gallon gas tank. And to continue with the brass theme both door handles have been buffed to remove most plating to show there brass and copper construction and both radiator support rods are polished solid brass rods. The radiator shell is from a 1924 Durant Star and has been ornamented with the radiator cap topper from an 8n ford tractor. The radiator is a new Champion 2 core aluminum and has a new 16in electric fan mounted to back side to keep the performance 350 Chevy motor cool. The motor has a new water pump! New Fuel pump! New Hi torque starter and a Mercruiser one wire hi amp alternator. The ignition system is a new pro comp stand alone distributor with high voltage coil. The plug wires are 8mm from summit racing. The Holley carburetor is a 600 cfm and was rebuilt by us and works great. The new reproduction caddy/olds air cleaner sets off the look of the motor off along with the satin black Chevrolet tall valve covers. The exhaust is giving the car that fast racing look! They are sprint car style headers and have built in mufflers and are covered in a nice header wrap. Now for the transmission. It’s a Chevy turbo 350 with a 2400 stall convertor and shifted into gear via a custom made shifter. (see pics) the rear end is a 1970 Buick skylark single track 10 bolt with a low 3 series gear.  The tire’s are new Coker Classic 6:00/16s mounted on Ford model B wire wheels with original Ford beauty rings. The center caps are new Aftermarket.  The taillights are aftermarket model A stainless steel Stop lights. The headlights are Guide 903 brass tag lights with tags removed and holes filled. They are filled with new Tri Bar Amber turn signal headlights. Now lets go into the interior. The seats are custom made from sheet steel and have padded inserts. Now the Dash. This is a rare part here! It is from a 1934 Huppmobile 3 window coupe model W136. Few of these cars were made and even the fewer still exists. We filled all the holes on the middle of the dash and moved the glove box door to the left side of the car. Then we filled the factory holes in the center of dash then mounted VDO classic style speedo/temp/oil pressure gauges. There is a airplane style toggle for the ignition and a hidden key switch under the dash beside the steering column. Mounted to the steering column is the turn signal switch and horn button. All glass in the sedan has been replaced with new laminated safety glass.  All side windows door and qrt glass still crank up and down. I am sure somewhere in here I have forgot something so if u have any questions please just ask! U can call or txt me at 260-715-1880. I do have this listed locally and I could end the auction at any time.

2015 Ford Mustang fuel economy ratings leaked

Thu, 21 Aug 2014

Thinking about buying a new Mustang, but want to know what kind of fuel economy it'll get? Well we have our first indication as the pony-car enthusiasts over at Mustang6G.com have gotten a hold of the Monroney window stickers for a few of the new 2015 Mustang models.
Although the V8 model is not among them, we can now see how the EPA has rated those models with a half dozen pistons or less. The Mustang EcoBoost with the turbo four and a manual transmission has been rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. The V6 manual gets 17 city and 28 highway, while the V6 automatic squeezes out a bit more in the city at 19 mpg but carries the same 28 highway rating.
By way of comparison, the latest Chevy Camaro with the V6 and a stick shift gets the same 17/28 EPA rating as a similarly equipped new 'Stang, and the V6 automatic Camaro gets 18/27 (slightly behind the Ford, but if you opt for the Camaro 2LS with its V6, automatic and 2.92 rear axle ratio, you'll be looking at 19 and 30).

Chris Harris checks out Ken Block's Hoonicorn '65 Mustang

Thu, Dec 4 2014

Ken Block's Hoonicorn, which stars in Gymkhana Seven, might still bear a passing resemblance to a vintage 1965 Ford Mustang, but underneath the skin, the car is one of the baddest custom machines to ever do a smoky burnout on the road. The ever enthusiastic British auto journalist Chris Harris is now showing what really makes Block's new ride tick on video, and Harris even gets to go for quite a ride. The only Mustang components really left on the Hoonicorn are the A-pillar, B-pillar and roof, according to Harris. Everything else is ditched to create Block's ultimate Gymkhana tool. The 845-horsepower, 6.7-liter Rousch Yates V8 sits behind the front axle, and the grunt is routed to all four wheels through a Sadev gearbox usually found on Dakar Rally vehicles. The whole drivetrain is packed with cool little touches; like that giant handbrake that also disconnects power from the front wheels when in use. The superlatives about the Hoonicorn could go on forever, but settle in and let a very excited Harris tell you about just some of them. He's like a kid in a candy store here, and the look that combines surprise, fear and joy during his ride with Block is the kind that lacks a suitable word in the English language.

Ford dissects the heart of the 2015 Mustang, its engine range

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

Happy Mustang Day. Are you tired of hearing about the 2015 Ford Mustang yet? No? Good, here's a bunch of mechanical data on Ford's sixth-gen muscle car, along with cutaways of the GT's 5.0-liter V8 and the new 2.3-liter, EcoBoost four-cylinder shown above. We also have a smattering of info on the Stang's updated transmissions and an exploded-parts-diagram view of its all-new independent rear suspension.
Ford is set to make waves offering the Mustang with a turbo for the firs time since the small-volume SVO of the 1980s. Displacing 2.3 liters, the engine's twin-scroll turbo should help the four-cylinder turn out a projected 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, while also returning the best fuel economy in the Mustang's engine lineup. As we said in our Deep Dive, the EcoBoost will be slotted in as a premium engine, above the 3.7-liter V6 but below the 5.0-liter V8.
Speaking of that high-revving eight-cylinder, it's receiving a new cylinder head with high-flow ports. The intake and exhaust valves are larger and the cams have been replaced, among other tweaks. It should rev even higher thanks to a rebalanced crankshaft and forged connecting rods. Ford is still claiming a projected 420 hp and 390 lb-ft, although as many of the changes for the 2015's V8 come from the 2013 Boss 302, we're going to assume there's some sandbagging at work.
