This is as nice as you will find anywhere and if you want to complete the work it will be a super car. Over 18k invested + many hours of labor. complete rebuilt chassis with new engine rebuild zero miles all new bearings and all new gears in transmission rear end rebuilt with new bearing and races 5 new 19" ww tires great wheels new bearings and races all the way around rebuilt brakes rebuilt steering w/needle bearing real good radiator generator rebuilt good starter all new seat spring in the box front and rumble hood and deck lid are new one rear fender is new all others are very nice new cowl lights in the box new wiring harness two new tail lights in the box new instrument panel with amp meter switch and speedometer + cable new door handles good windshield & frame all interior moldings gas tank vatted and sealed 4 new shocks & links carburetor and distributor rebuilt new water pump new hoses new belt body painted with epoxy primer & DuPont BC/CC paint All bumpers re-chromed new gas cap new radiator cap most everything is here to complete the car NO upholstery Work to be completed= paint color sanded and buffed, all trim and interior to be installed final assembly The car can be driven and tested now by sitting on a makeshift seat. Ford confirms launch of new Tourneo vans and Ecosport in Europe for Geneva
Sun, 24 Feb 2013We've already seen plenty of what the Geneva Motor Show will have in store for us in less than two weeks, but most of the confirmed debuts that were announced so far have generally been luxury or performance cars. Ford, on the other hand, will be showing off a couple of its new family-friendly models for European buyers to enjoy.
On the larger side of things, the full range of Tourneo vans (shown above) will be on display, including the introduction of the new Tourneo Courier model, but Ford will also be showing off the all-new EcoSport crossover, which is based on the automaker's Global B platform and will be positioned beneath the Kuga, better known here as the Escape. The subcompact EcoSport was originally unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April.
Next Ford Mustang to drop 400 pounds
Thu, 15 Aug 2013The Ford Mustang is already the lightest of the current crop of muscle cars, at around 3,600 pounds for a GT coupe with the six-speed manual transmission. That's almost 260 pounds less than a Chevrolet Camaro SS and about 450 pounds less than a Dodge Challenger R/T, which means the Mustang has a pretty big advantage when it comes to handling, braking, accelerating and economy. More good news: The next Mustang will be even lighter.
According to a report from Edmunds, the sixth-generation Mustang, which is set to debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, will shed an additional 400 pounds of body fat. That 11-percent weight reduction will be thanks to lightweight materials, with a particular focus on using stronger, but less material in construction. Aluminum will feature heavily, but Edmunds' inside source warns that there is "nothing terribly exotic" coming to the original pony car.
The other big news is that the new Mustang will be smaller overall. It's going to be 15-inches shorter than the 188.5-inch Mustang on sale today, while it'll also be 6.5 inches narrower. Shorter overhangs, both in the front and rear, are also good signs for those that want an agile Mustang.
Ford's new GT Le Mans racer sounds awesome
Fri, Jun 12 2015Ford showed its new GT Le Mans racecar this morning, and we're stoked. The gorgeous new racecar will run in the LM GTE Pro class in the FIA World Endurance Championship and United SportsCar Championship, followed by a four-car showing at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. For those keeping track, the 2016 race will mark the 50th anniversary of Ford's big Le Mans victory in 1966. In addition to images and some limited information, Ford released this video of the Le Mans racecar, and we haven't been able to stop watching. This thing sounds amazing, and it looks super cool racing through the streets of Paris, even if it's all just CGI. Thus, we figured we'd pull the video out again, just in case you missed it the first time. Turn your volume up. This one's really good.
