Up for auction is this Henry Ford steel 1930 Ford model A roadster. The trunk lid is fiberglass. The paint is suede dark blue metallic. The frame is boxed and has buggy springs front and rear with a Super Bell dropped axle up front and a vega steering box. The engine is a good running 305 cu. in. Chevy small block with a new performance cam (part number SUM1784). It is backed by a column shifted 3 speed manual trans. from the sixties and a 9 in. rear end with 3:70 gears. This roadster is equipped with a Walker radiator,Kwik wiring harness and a 14 gal. gas tank. It has a LeBaron Bonney interior with a 47 Ford steering column. 2015 Ford Mustang fuel economy ratings leaked

Although the V8 model is not among them, we can now see how the EPA has rated those models with a half dozen pistons or less. The Mustang EcoBoost with the turbo four and a manual transmission has been rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. The V6 manual gets 17 city and 28 highway, while the V6 automatic squeezes out a bit more in the city at 19 mpg but carries the same 28 highway rating.
By way of comparison, the latest Chevy Camaro with the V6 and a stick shift gets the same 17/28 EPA rating as a similarly equipped new 'Stang, and the V6 automatic Camaro gets 18/27 (slightly behind the Ford, but if you opt for the Camaro 2LS with its V6, automatic and 2.92 rear axle ratio, you'll be looking at 19 and 30).Reborn Ford Escort could make its way to Europe

No less than the incoming chairman of Ford UK said "it could work in other places," bolstering the comments of "a senior Ford insider" who said the question of bringing the car to Europe to slot in underneath the Focus had been raised. That's a long way from anything of the kind happening, which would require Ford to figure out how to sell it for the right price and not torpedo the company reputation among Euro buyers. In any case, we'd be as intrigued as anyone if an Escort resurrection created the next 'who knew?' market segment of few-frills transportation offered by non-Asian carmakers.Are you a new Ford Mustang SVO? The Mustang prototype in these photos looks very similar to the GT500 test cars we've spotted before - same bulging hood, aggressive front fascia and air vents aft of the front wheels. What's different, however, is around back. Have a look at the exhaust, and note that instead of the GT500's usual quad pipes, two of the exhaust outlets have been capped off.
Our spies point out that these exhaust outlets could be closed for some sort of emissions testing or another engineering reason, but it's also important to note that the engine and exhaust notes of this car sound completely different from earlier GT500 prototypes. We've got a video below that compares the two.
