This car is in amazing original condition. Someone saved this car from day one. Only 56k miles with documented oil change sticks on the door jam. It is a local car that has obviously never been driven in bad weather, and appears to have been stored in a heated garage all it's life. The Paint is very good to excellent and appears to be partly or mostly original, no sign any accidents or body work. The undercarriage is amazingly clean Absolutely no rust, not even surface rust from what I can see. The chrome and trim is excellent too... Although the rear wheel moldings have a few dings. The original top was recently replaced. The original was black, but I decided to go with white, with a new glass rear window, no expense spared, and fits very well. All the weather stripping rubber is in excellent shape too. The boot is original and is missing a few snaps. The interior is all original and is in excellent condition. Mechanically it is also in excellent condition, and runs perfect, starts right up, no noises, or leaks, runs very quiet and has plenty of power, and the transmission shifts excellent too. The thing that doesn't seem right is on a hard stop the brakes pull once in a while. Everything works as it should except the clock... Heat, radio, and all the lights work too, even the trunk and license plate. Whoever buys this car should be very happy, I will really miss her. If you have any questions please ask. People that see this car are amazed at the condition, and think I'm crazy to sell it. I think I am too. I'll probably never have a Galaxie this nice unless I want spend $25000. Stock Miata beats bunch of high-powered cars in wet 1/4-mile drag race

When is a stock, 167-horsepower Mazda MX-5 Miata quicker than a Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang, Lamborghini Gallardo, Lotus Elise and a Porsche 911? When it's raining. Sort of.
Mazda Canada arranged a unique drag race to show off the fact that the Miata's optional power retractable folding hardtop can go from top-down to top-up in just 12 seconds flat. In this video, all six cars line up for a drag race, and it starts to rain (well, sort of - but you'll have to watch the video all the way to the end to see what we mean). The green flag is waved, and the timer starts as soon as the convertibles begin to put their tops up. But because the Miata's roof mechanism gets the car's roof back up a full 5.1 seconds quicker than the second-place car, the Mazda gets a serious advantage off the line for the actual drag race.

Next Ford Mustang to drop 400 pounds

The Ford Mustang is already the lightest of the current crop of muscle cars, at around 3,600 pounds for a GT coupe with the six-speed manual transmission. That's almost 260 pounds less than a Chevrolet Camaro SS and about 450 pounds less than a Dodge Challenger R/T, which means the Mustang has a pretty big advantage when it comes to handling, braking, accelerating and economy. More good news: The next Mustang will be even lighter.
According to a report from Edmunds, the sixth-generation Mustang, which is set to debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, will shed an additional 400 pounds of body fat. That 11-percent weight reduction will be thanks to lightweight materials, with a particular focus on using stronger, but less material in construction. Aluminum will feature heavily, but Edmunds' inside source warns that there is "nothing terribly exotic" coming to the original pony car.
The other big news is that the new Mustang will be smaller overall. It's going to be 15-inches shorter than the 188.5-inch Mustang on sale today, while it'll also be 6.5 inches narrower. Shorter overhangs, both in the front and rear, are also good signs for those that want an agile Mustang.
