i have a 1960 ford starliner forsale running driving car has been drove all over for the past 2 years very dependable car has new headliner new dome light lens all new brakes brake lines wheel cylinders shoes drums were either turned or replaced new radiator and hoses new wheel bearing on front the motor is a 1964 352 2 barrel motor runs perfect no leaks doesnt smoke doesnt use oil runs cool has a new 500 holley 2brl carb it is a 4 speed has the long tail shaft trans that were used in the galaxies could use 3 and 4 syncros new drivshaft that was balanced new leaf spring bushings in front sping eyes of leaf srings all lights work interior light works gas hand works new sending unit in gas tank signal lights work has new oil and temp gauges under the dash not sure if in dash temp works i didnt hook it up it has new dual exhaust ran to the rearend with turbo style mufflers with turn downs car has the factory chalk marks on firewal has never been repainted still has original interior it is being sold like it is drive anywhere new window rubbers on front and back glass car does have good floor pans trunk pan has rust some rust in pass side rocker fenders are good quarters are good top is good some rust in doors only made this body style one year so kinda rare car i will answer any questions u have about the car may trade also

Automakers' rush on aluminum may result in shortage
Thu, 13 Feb 2014Aluminum is the new buzzword in the automotive industry. The latest Range Rover and Range Rover Sport both take advantage of the lightweight material to shave huge amounts of body fat (only it's called "aluminium" over there). Audi and Jaguar have been using the stuff for years in their A8 and XJ, respectively, and now, aluminum is going mainstream, arriving on the 2015 Ford F-150.
While we're excited to see aluminum make an impact outside the premium market, its widespread adoption apparently won't come without some problems, notably in terms of supply. "There isn't an automotive manufacturer that makes vehicles in North America that we're not talking to," Tom Boney, of Novelis, the largest global supplier of aluminum sheetmetal, told The Detroit News.
According to Boney, Ford's use of aluminum on such a large scale has forced auto manufacturers in "every boardroom" to reconsider their plans following the F-150's unveiling, for one simple reason: there's not exactly enough aluminum to go around, at least in the short term. The auto industry presently only accounts for six percent of the aluminum sheet produced, but as the material is adopted by more and more brands, that figure is expected to swell to 25 percent within the next six years.
2015 Ford Mustang specs revealed, GT to pack 435 HP
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The 2015 Ford Mustang sounds great so far - at least on paper. Ford has just announced specs for the latest version of the iconic pony car in Dearborn, telling Autoblog that it will pump out as much as 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from its 5.0-liter V8.
Those gaudy figures power the naturally aspirated GT model, and they easily eclipse the "more than" 420 hp and 390 lb-ft that Ford originally estimated.
The 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 310 hp and 320 lb-ft, and it's the first turbo Mustang since the 1986 SVO.
