This is a 2013 Ford Focus Hatchback that has been wrecked and will need repair. The airbags are good, except for the driver's side "knee bag". Not sure about the door post bags.

The car is an automatic, it only has 19,747 miles (like new). It has aluminum wheels; it also has cruise, tilt, CD player, and a lot of other buttons I'm not sure of.

The car does start and run, and can be driven for loading, but isn't road-worthy because the right front wheel shock or shock tower is bent in. It also will need pulling at the door post, but the frame itself is okay.

The winner will have to pick up the car, but I will assist in loading, if necessary. I expect payment at that time.

This will make a sharp-looking, economical car when it's finished. I bought this car for personal use, but I changed my mind and want a different type of vehicle. No trades, please. The reserve price is what I have invested in the car.

Galpin Ford GTR1 supercar debuts in Monterey

Galpin Auto Sports has finally taken the wraps off the car we first previewed back in December, the Galpin Ford GTR1. A few weeks ago, we posted the first hints of just what the GTR1 would be capable of, with Galpin teasing that its 5.4-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 would produce in excess of 1000 horsepower, with a top speed of 225 miles per hour. Package all that in a coachbuilt body, and you have the recipe for one wicked supercar.
The price for the carbon fiber-bodied car is $1,024,000.
Now, we have all the glorious details. Galpin is targeting a production run of six cars, but if interest is strong enough, will expand its initial quote to 24 vehicles. The price for the carbon fiber-bodied car is $1,024,000. Opting for the aluminum bodywork could lower that, although it's not immediately clear by how much.

Ford dinged by OSHA for asbestos at Buffalo plant

Ford has come under fire from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for violations regarding asbestos exposure in a company metal stamping plant in Buffalo, NY. OSHA has cited Ford for eight violations in total, according to an Automotive News report, and faces fines of up to $41,800. 537 workers are employed at the stamping facility.
The violations include a pipefitter at the facility being exposed to asbestos-containing material while working on a steam line, other workers exposed to the material without respiratory protection and work areas that were not designed to limited the number of workers in contact with asbestos. Further, areas in which asbestos was present were not properly restricted, and levels of asbestos in the air were not monitored.
According to an unnamed Ford spokesperson in the AN report, the company feels that the OSHA citation is erroneous saying, "We have fully cooperated with the local OSHA officials and we don't believe the citations are warranted." Ford also maintains that it will work with the authorities to resolve the issue.
