UP FOR SALE IS A 1967 FORD RANCHERO. THIS WAS A FATHER & SON PROJECT AND IS THE CAR MY SON PICKED OUT. RECENTLY HE HAS GONE THROUGH A DEVORCE AND NOW HAS HIS OTHER THINGS THAT NEEDS HIS ATTENTION THAN THIS CAR. I AM NOT A FORD MAN SO I AM SELLING THIS CAR AND GIVING THE MONEY TO MY SON TO HELP HIM GET BACK ON HIS FEET. THE ENGINE DOES NOT SMOKE AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS OUT FINE. WE REPLACED THE BRAKE HOSES FRONT AND REAR, BUT IT NEEDS A MASTER CYLNDER., SO THE BRAKES DO NOT WORK. I WENT TO START THE ENGINE RIGHT BEFORE LISTING THE CAR AND THE STARTER SHORTED OUT. BUT I PROMISE YOU THE ENGINE RUNS. AS YOU CAN TELL WE HAVE NOT HAD GOOD LUCK WITH THIS CAR AND NEED TO FIND SOMEONE THAT KNOWS ABOUT FORDS AND RESTORE THIS CAR. IT IS A VERY SOLID CAR FRONT TO BACK. I HAVE ALL THE TRIM PIECES THAT GO AROUND THE BED SIDES AND RAP AROUND THE BACK WINDOW . I HAVE THE FRONT AND BACK BUMPERS AND GRILL . SOME OF THE TRIM HAVE DINGS THAT WILL NEED TO BE MASSAGED OUT BUT NOTHING MAJOR. THE WINDSHIELD HAS LITTLE BUBBLES ON THE PASSENGER SIDE DOWN AT THE BOTTOM. I HAVE THE TAILGATE AND TAILLIGHT ASSEMBLYS. I AM ASKING 1500.00 FOR THIS CAR , WE HAVE THAT MUCH IN IT WHEN WE BOUGHT IT , NOT TO MENTION THE BODY WORK AND PARTS WE PUT IN IT. THIS CAR IS IN TOO GOOD OF SHAPE TO GO TO WASTE, SOMEONE THAT HAS BETTER LUCK WITH FORDS NEEDS TO RESCUE THIS CAR.

GM takes 2020 full-size pickup sales crown
Thu, Jan 7 2021It's no secret that 2020 was an unconventional year for auto sales. Extenuating circumstances or not, it was a year of upheaval even for ever-resilient (and ever-profitable) pickups, with General Motors taking the crown from Ford in the full-size segment. The Ford F-Series still outsold every other full-size pickup nameplate in the country by a significant margin. It's only when you combine GM's Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra variants that you get a number that exceeds Ford's. This isn't really a new phenomenon, either. In fact, it was only somewhat recently that Ford took the overall full-size crown away from GM, and not only did Ford widen the gap in recent years, but Ram has once again become a legitimate challenger, even managing to outsell the Silverado by a healthy margin in 2019, but never coming close to the F-Series in terms of total volume. But, 2020 being 2020, things got weird yet again. Ram remains relevant, of course, but Ford got caught with its pants down thanks to the one-two punch of COVID and the generational changeover of the core F-150 model, which resulted in a production interruption as the company's assembly facilities transitioned from building the old 2020 model to the new-for-2021. This perfect storm, as it turns out, was sufficient for GM to walk away with the full-size crown. See for yourself: Full-size 2020 pickup sales: GM total: 847,110 F-Series: 787,422 Silverado: 594,094 Ram: 563,676 Sierra: 253,016 Tundra: 109,203 Titan: 26,439 As you can see, Ram slipped back behind Silverado, slotting comfortably into third place. The Silverado 1500 had a flat year, but the heavy- and medium-duty variants bucked the trend and contributed to a slight uptick in sales for the nameplate, while F-Series tumbled more than 12% (nearly 110,000 units), opening the door for GM to steam ahead. There were similarly significant shakeups in the midsize truck segment. First, 2020 was the first full year of retail sales for the Gladiator pickup, which surged to fourth place behind the stalwart Tacoma, Ranger and Colorado. GM's combined sales of the Colorado and Canyon are good enough for second place by manufacturer, but nowhere close to what it would take to dethrone Toyota.
TX officer allegedly lets 140-mph street racer go with a warning [w/poll]
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Being pulled over by the police is one of the most nerve-racking situations that a driver can go through, and it's even worse when you know that the officer has you dead to rights for speeding well over the posted limit. In this video, the driver of a heavily modified Ford Mustang with a claimed 966 horsepower at the rear wheels could have easily lost his ride for doing triple-digit speeds and street racing, but a friendly Texas police officer appears to send him on his way with a simple warning.
What's more, the driver in question wasn't just speeding - his Mustang was the camera car for a bunch of rolling street races in the wee hours of the morning on a Texas highway. The driver was more than willing to mix it up in the action, too. Eventually the cops catch on and pick the 'Stang to pull over, but not before the Ford owner runs a claimed 140 mph. With only audio to go on after the car is pulled over, the police officer seems incredibly nonchalant about catching someone who was so brazenly breaking the law. Incredibly, the patrolman actually tells the driver that he's seen everyone racing tonight but ignored them. With traffic picking up, the cop says that it's time to "cut it out" and go home for the night. As far as this video shows, that was the end of it.
Warning: There is explicit, not-safe-for-work language in the video below.
