1957 FORD FAIRLANE CLUB VICTORIA (Model 63B) I am listing this vehicle with no reserve for my brother, T.J. Cerny. Please contact him directly at 208.771.0912 for more information about the car and specific payment requirements. *** THIS CAR IS LOCATED IN POST FALLS IDAHO (NEAR SPOKANE WA) *** This ’57 Fairlane is essentially the twin to the one I owned and sold on eBay a couple of years ago, so I’m very familiar with ’57 Fords, and this one in particular. Mine brought over $20,000 and was the less desirable Club Sedan Tudor Post (Model 64A)… so bid accordingly on this pillarless Club Victoria Tudor Hardtop. This sweet little ’57 is a pleasure to drive and garners much attention at car shows and cruise-ins. It’s not a trailer queen, but far more show-worthy and pristine than a typical “driver”. The total number of miles on this vehicle is unknown. BODY – Super straight and rust free sheet metal with a few subtle modifications including a ’58 hood and frenched headlights (original hood and headlight assemblies are included with the car). The bumpers have been rechromed and the stainless trim is nearly flawless. PAINT – Older repaint in the original colors of Starmist Blue and Colonial White. Still looks great and holds a beautiful shine. GLASS – New windshield, quarter and wing window glass. Back glass is nearly flawless. INTERIOR – Seats, carpet, trim panels and kick panels tastefully redone in a non-stock pattern. Excellent original headliner and dash. ENGINE & DRIVE TRAIN – Strong 292 Y-Block Thunderbird engine with 2 BBL carburetor and dual exhaust, 3-speed Ford O Matic transmission, new u-joints. ELECTRICAL & ACCESSORIES – Recent battery, generator converted to alternator, vacuum windshield wiper system converted to electric, electronic ignition and AM-FM radio with cassette. STEERING & SUSPENSION – Lowered rebuilt front end with Jamco springs, power rack & pinion steering conversion. WHEELS & TIRES – American Racing Torque Thrust D rims with excellent radial tires. Stock wheels and wheelcovers included with the car. DISCLAIMERS & OTHER STUFF – No overseas bidders please. Shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. The seller will be available for your shipper to load the vehicle, but assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred either during loading or while the vehicle is in transit. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of the auction ending. Full payment must be received within 7 days of the auction ending, and must clear before the vehicle and title will be released. Payment method by wire transfer must be arranged directly with the seller as I’m only listing this vehicle and not involved with the actual transaction. Therefore, PayPal will not be accepted for any portion of this listing. This vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is and there is no warranty expressed or implied. The seller strongly encourages a visual inspection of this vehicle by seriously interested bidders or a designated appointee by seriously interested bidders before this listing expires. |

Ford picks up new Ranger overseas [w/video+poll]
Tue, Mar 24 2015The new Ford F-150 is lighter and more efficient than the model it replaced, but if it's a smaller Ford pickup that you really wanted, you're going to have to pack your bags. Because while Dearborn stopped selling the Ranger in North America years ago, it still offers one in markets overseas. And it's just rolled out a refreshed model at the 2015 Bangkok Motor Show in Thailand. Following the reveal of the new Everest sport-ute with which it shares its chassis, the refreshed Ranger pickup benefits from revised sheetmetal, powertrain and equipment throughout. The changes are punctuated by a front end with a more rugged-looking grille, a more sculpted hood and projector headlamps. The interior has been updated as well, not only in terms of style but equipment as well, with an eight-inch touchscreen display in the dashboard running Sync 2 and dual TFT displays flanking the speedo in the instrument cluster. Under the hood, buyers will be able to choose between a carryover 2.5-liter inline four with 163 horsepower and 166 pound-feet of torque that's the sole gasoline option or one of two diesel options: a 2.2-liter four now producing 158 hp and 284 lb-ft, or a 3.2-liter inline-five with 197 hp and 347 lb-ft. The diesel engines are more efficient than before with available stop/start engine management, and offer what Ford says is class-leading towing capability. Six-speed automatic or manual gearboxes transmit the power to the road through either the rear wheels or all four. Production will continue in Thailand for the Asia Pacific Market, South Africa for Africa and Europe, and in Argentina for Latin America. All told the new Ranger will be offered in 180 markets, around the world but for better or worse, ours won't be one of them. This content is hosted by a third party. Here are 12 electric pickups in the works
Wed, Oct 21 2020With the unveiling of the GMC Hummer EV, the list of planned electric pickups is expanding. Legacy automakers like Ford and Chevy have theirs coming, as do startups like Tesla, Rivian and Bollinger, as well as some lesser known brands. Here are all the electric pickup trucks we know to be in the works, along with a few that are being discussed or mulled over. GMC Hummer EV The 2022 GMC HUMMER EV is a first-of-its kind supertruck develop View 40 Photos We’ve seen it now, and itÂ’s the business. The GMC Hummer EV comes out swinging with 1,000 horsepower from GMÂ’s new Ultium electric powertrain program, a wealth of off-road features, a removable roof, Super Cruise and the revival of the Hummer name. WeÂ’ll see the first ones on the road next fall. Tesla Cybertruck Tesla Cybertruck at the Petersen Museum View 14 Photos Tesla revealed the Cybertruck last year with, ahem, unique styling, a number of powertrain options and a claimed range of up to 500 miles. It has a compressed paper dash, a ramp for the bed, and “shatterproof” windows. It has already racked up hundreds of thousands of reservations. It will be built in Texas. Rivian R1T 2021 Rivian R1T View 15 Photos EV startup Rivian revealed its R1T electric pickup toward the end of 2018 with a claimed 0-60 time of 3 seconds and a towing capability of 11,000 pounds. Preproduction began in September 2020 at RivianÂ’s factory in Normal, Illinois. Bollinger Motors B2 Bollinger Motors B2 side outdoors View 31 Photos BollingerÂ’s B2 electric pickup is a Class 3 off-roader with retro styling, removable roof panels, and a unique “frunkgate” with a pass-through down the center of the vehicle. It was created with both enthusiasts and workers in mind, with features that can get it to remote places (portal axles, hydro-pneumatic suspension) and to get things done (room for 40 2x4s, equipped with eight 110-volt outlets and one 220-volt outlet). Bollinger also plans to make the B2 Chassis Cab available for fleet customization. Ford F-150 Electric Electric Ford F-150 Towing View 9 Photos WeÂ’ve known this to be in the works since early 2019. Since then, details have trickled out. Back in June, Ford announced its F-150 Electric would be coming within two years. WeÂ’ve seen it pull a million pounds worth of train and trucks, heard it will have more power than any other F-150, and seen its LED-laden front end.
