I AM SELLING MY 56 VICTORIA BECAUSE I AM NOT A PAINT & BODY PERSON AND I HAD A LITTLE ACCIDENT. IT ROLLED DOWN MY DRIVE AND BUMPED INTO A SMALL OAK TREE. THE TREE WON. I AM SELLING IT AT A REAL LOSS. IT WON'T TAKE A LOT TO REPAIR BUT I AM LETTING IT GO. IT IS PAINTED TORCH RED & COLONIAL WHITE JUST LIKE MY FIRST ONE BACK IN 1963 THAT IS WHY I PURCHASED IT. THE FENDER CAN BE STAIGHTENED BUT I WOULD GET A DIFFERENT ONE ($150-$200) I CAN PROVIDE A GOOD PLACE TO GET ONE. IT WILL NEED A PARKING LIGHT EXTENSION, DOOR HANDLE AND THE FENDER STAINLESS. I HAVE ONE. THE DOOR AND THE STAINLES CAN BE STRAIGHTENED OUT. THIS IS A NICE CAR AND I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON IT FOR THE LAST 3-4 MONTHS. I PUT A NEW GAS TANK ON, A NEW RECHROMED BACK BUMPER, (FRONT BUMPER AND PARKING LIGHT HOUSINGS HAVE BEEN RECHROMED) NEW EXHAUST PORTS THRU BUMPER, SPARE TIRE AND RIM, JACK WITH BASE AND LUG WRENCH, NEW TRUNK MAT, ALL NEW BRAKES, WHEEL CYLINDERS, NEW ELECTRIC CHOKE, PLUGS, POINTS,TUNE UP, NEW HEADLIGHT SPEARS, PAINTED THE RIMS, COMPLETELY DETAILED THE ENGINE AND COMPARTMENT TO SHOW QUALITY, HAD RADIATOR FLUSHED & CLEANED OUT, REPAIRED HEATER CORE AND THE LIST GOES ON. I HAVE SPENT ALOT OF TIME & $$$ ON THIS CAR. IT DRIVES AND RUNS GREAT. IT HAS A NEWER SET OF B.F.GOODRICH W-W-W TIRES. ALL THE GAUGES WORK AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS FINE. THIS WILL BE A GOOD CAR TO FIX AND MAKE $$$ ON OR A GOOD WAY FOR THE PAINT & BODY PERSON TO GET A GOOD CAR AT A GOOD PRICE AND WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH IT YOU WON'T HAVE AN ARM & LEG IN IT LIKE I HAVE. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN!!! I WILL SELL OVERSEAS AND WILL WORK WITH YOU. I WILL REQUIRE $500.00 VIA PAY-PAL AND THE REST IN CASH OR A MONEY TRANSFER UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE. GIVE ME A CALL OR E-MAIL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. BILL 870-431-5107. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK! YOU'LL NEVER BUY ONE LIKE THIS ONE ANY CHEAPER!!!

Ford Recalling 70k Escape and Mariner Hybrids for cooling issue
Fri, 12 Sep 2014Ford is recalling about 70,209 examples of the 2005-2008 Ford Escape Hybrid and the 2006-2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid because the cooling pumps for their hybrid systems could fail.
According to the company's defect notice, it's possible for the original "Motor Electronics Coolant (MEC) Pump" to wear out and fail, which would could cause the hybrid system to overheat. If this happens, the vehicle goes into a safety mode that takes away most or all of its power. However, braking and steering still operate normally. After cooling down, the affected models restart normally. The company says that it's not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this problem.
Ford will begin repairing the vehicles in late October, and dealers will be installing improved, brushless pumps on the affected models at no charge to owners. If drivers had their pumps fail before this recall, they can contact Ford for a possible reimbursement. Scroll down to read the recall announcement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or download the full defect notice as a PDF, here.
New GMC Canyon, Ford Bronco Heritage Editions and Nissan Z | Autoblog Podcast #743
Fri, Aug 19 2022In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Producer Christopher McGraw. They kick off the podcast with news. Ford launched retro-themed Heritage Editions for its 2023 Bronco and Bronco Sport lineup. GMC unveiled the 2023 Canyon, complete with a ZR2-based AT4X trim. Some rare, vintage American cars were stolen and destroyed in England. Chris loves sleeping in cars, and tells us how to turn a car into a camper for less than $100. Next, our hosts talk about what they've been driving from the Autoblog test fleet, including the new Nissan Z (which Chris slept in), Mercedes EQS 450 and VW Atlas. Finally, they reference a recent Autoblog Reddit AMA for a unique "Spend My Money" format. They help one participant pick a sub-$40,000 sports car, and another choose a JDM sports car to import to the U.S. when they move back from Japan. Ford reveals new Galaxy van for Europe [w/video]
Mon, Apr 6 2015Here in its home market, Ford may be focusing more on crossovers, but overseas, minivans are still playing a crucial roll for global automakers. So while the Aerostar, Windstar and Freestar may have given way to the Flex and Edge, over in Europe, the Blue Oval automaker has revealed the all-new fourth-generation Galaxy. Following up on the MPV initially launched in 1995, replaced in 2000 and again in 2006, the new Galaxy features updated styling and equipment to position itself as the luxury counterpart to the sportier S-Max that just relaunched last year. Behind the Aston-style grille that's been finding its way onto just about every new passenger car Ford makes is a range of updated engine options, including two EcoBoost gasoline engines (a 1.5-liter unit with 158 horsepower or a 2.0 with 237) and a 2.0-liter turbo diesel available in states of tune ranging from 118 hp all the way up to 207. The flexible seven-seat cabin features a flat load floor, seats that stow and even deploy at the push of a button and an available full-length retractable panoramic sunroof. The new integral link rear suspension promises a smooth ride, with an available self-leveling feature just one of the many convenience and safety systems integrated into Ford's new European family hauler – the full extent of which you can read in the press release below. On your way down, you may want to check out the stunt which Ford staged with illusionist Darcy Oake to launch the new Galaxy. This content is hosted by a third party.
