2002 Well maintained and Customized F450 SuperDuty Lariat, Low 110,000 Miles, Power Stroke 7.3L V8 DI 16V OHV Turbo diesel (one of the best engines of the Ford Diesel line up). Looks & drives great, Manual Transmission, sits on 19.5 rims and the new tires have maybe 3,000 miles on them. This is a One Of A Kind truck. No other like it! Must see,! No accidents, Non-smoker, Clean title in hand ready to sell. Custom paint/graphics on exterior and interior ( pictures hidden in almost every flame on exterior ). Tinted windows with flame design on the 3 rear cab windows. Excellent condition, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Very clean Leather interior (seats 6 comfortably), A/C, Cruise. Power windows. Power seats, etc. Upgraded sound system with Sony Stereo/ Blue tooth/ DVD/ GPS head unit.
A few more upgrades: Air compressor and tank that provide air for the rear air bags and train horns mounted in frame rails. Turbo timer for 1 or 3 minutes. Bully dog selector chip and EXT temp, Boost, and transmission temp gauges. Gear vender under/over drive (doubles the gears of your transmission). Air intake with K&N filter and custom exhaust. Are you Ford's next Bullitt Mustang? [w/poll]
Thu, 27 Mar 2014Ford has a long history of offering special editions of its legendary Mustang. One of the most vaunted of those trim packages, though, has only been offered twice. The first time was in 2001, and then again in 2008. Yes, we're talking about the Bullitt.
Named for the infamous Dark Highland Green Mustang Fastback driven by Steve McQueen in the 1968 cop melodrama Bullitt, the car was famous for not just its pilot, but the high-speed chase it took part in during the movie. Now, we think we have images of the next Bullitt.
According to our spy photographers, the paint is a "dead-ringer" for the Dark Highland Green that has signified these special edition Mustangs. While we're inclined to agree, it's also worth pointing out that this shade looks very similar to one of the 2015's other new colors, Guard. We've yet to see one on the road (let alone in such dreary conditions), so it's tough to say for certain.
MyFord Touch getting second update, extended warranty
Wed, 28 Nov 2012There is no doubt that Ford has had its hands full fielding complaints with its MyFord Touch and MyLincoln Touch systems these days, but looking to keep its customers happy, Ford is once again upgrading its infotainment systems and extending the warranties. Despite having just sent out updates for its systems back in March, Automotive News says that customers are still complaining about the speed and ease of use.
Vehicles with MyFord Touch will now get a five-year, unlimited-mile warranty, while the MyLincoln Touch will have a six-year, unlimited-mile warranty. Previously, the systems were covered under basic warranties (three-year, 36,000-mile for Ford and four-year, 60,000-miles for Lincoln).
What is being referred to as "version 3.5" for the MyFord Touch and MyLincoln Touch systems will be mailed out (or downloaded) next month for owners of cars without navigation and in January for cars with nav. Owners of hybrids, plug-ins and electric vehicles will get the update sometime in the first quarter of next year.
