For sale i have 2008 F350 Lariat 4x4 6.4 diesel powerstroke Crew Cab; I bought this truck from car auction back in april; Unfortunetly on the hwy truck broke down - I tow it to the dealer, they replaced flying wheel but they say there is knocking noise in the engine; They told me around 4k for opening engine to check whats wrong and fix it. Battery have to be charge but Engine is running, Truck can be driven but i cant recommend try go far because of that noise. I paid for it back in april 15k and with new flywheel, towing have just over 16k$ into it...
This is opportunity for some mechanic, shop or somebody who know how to fix it and dont have to spend labor money to buy truck for fraction of price of new one... I just cant afford to put more money in this truck and im not a mechanic - have to sale it. Truck on gauges shows little over 46000 miles but when it get to the auction last odometer reading was around 150k - in auction they probably replaced gauges.
I do have a clean Title in hand, On title it shows ACTUAL Mileage 106k miles. Body is in good shape, only need to paint rear gate.... Beside that truck is loaded, leather seats, navi etc.
The only problem is the engine... In worst case scenario truck can be use for parts but i believe u can fix it; For me just its not worth it because i will have over 20k total into it; Can help arrange transport for example by haulmach.com to send truck anywhere in states; If there is any international buyer i can help with shipping also. Auction starts from 1$ with NO RESERVE
More pictures can send on e-mail
Truck is located in TOANO, VA
I do have movie showing how truck is running and what type of noise it is, can sent to anybody interested.
Im reserving right to end auction early due to local sale...
Thank You and good luck.

Ford gives S-Max the Vignale treatment in Milan
Wed, 09 Apr 2014Ford has a bit of a history in reviving the names of old coachbuilders it has long since gobbled up and using them to distinguish its top-of-the-line models in Europe. That's what it did for years with Ghia, and after having replaced it several years ago with the Titanium trim level, now it's doing it again with Vignale.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, Ford revealed the Mondeo Vignale concept in both sedan and wagon body-styles, which are set to reach production next year. But before they do, the Blue Oval automaker is at it again, applying similar upgrades to the S-Max minivan and unveiling it in concept form in Milan this week.
Setting the Vignale concept apart from any other S-Max is its Milano Grigio rose-hued silver pearlescent paint, 21-inch alloys, chrome trim and hexagonal-pattern grille. Inside it's all ultra-soft quilted leather and aluminum trim, with tablet docking stations in the back and thinner, more flexible seats than the existing production version.
Pickup prices rising at 2x industry average
Tue, 11 Jun 2013We've said it before, but bears repeating: Pickup trucks are the financial engines of America's automakers. Good thing, then, that the segment is in rude health - in fact, Automotive News is suggesting that pickup truck sales are arguably healthier than they were pre-recession, even though the segment's volume is still significantly down from where it was before the bottom fell out of the US economy. That's because per-unit profits on full-size trucks are skyrocketing, outpacing the industry's average price increases by more than double since 2005. According to data from Edmunds, the average transaction price of a full-size pickup is now $39,915 - a heady increase over the $31,059 average price in 2005 - a gain of over 8 percent after inflation is factored in.
Just how important are trucks to automakers' bottom lines? Automotive News quotes a Morgan Stanley analyst as saying the Ford F-Series is responsible for 90 percent of the company's 2012 profits, and General Motors isn't far behind, with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins chipping in about two-thirds of the automaker's earnings.
Automotive News points out that Detroit's automakers now have the money to invest in modernizing their full-size truck offerings, in part because they don't have the same overhead and legacy costs that pushed General Motors and Chrysler into bankruptcy. Certainly, the pickup segment has seen a lot of innovations as of late, including turbocharged V6s, coil-spring rear suspensions and active aero. Those improvements in important areas like fuel economy and ride comfort have given existing pickup buyers new reasons to upgrade. In addition, automakers are piling on the tech and luxury goodies, creating more and more high-content, high-profit models like the Ford F-150 King Ranch, Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn and Chevrolet Silverado High Country (shown).
Ford reveals new rapid prototyping and low-volume production techniques [w/video]
Mon, 08 Jul 2013It's called "F3T," and that stands for Ford Free-form Fabrication Technology. The process that The Blue Oval has developed means being able to sidestep the weeks-long process of tool-and-die making when engineers want to construct a new part, allowing them to fabricate a three-dimensional part from a two-dimensional sheet of metal in just hours.
While F3T is being developed it is limited to "low-volume prototyping or even low-volume niche vehicles," but the next step is to evaluate it for use in Ford's global manufacturing facilities. You can find out more about it in the video and the press release below.
