F-350 Dually Flatbed With Knapheide Utility Box. 6.0 Diesel 4x4, Snow Plow Pkg on 2040-cars
Moorcroft, Wyoming, United States
|
Up for auction is a 2007 Ford F350 XL Super Duty Flat Bed 4x4, 325 horsepower 6.0 Liter Diesel with the Automatic transmission.
I bought this truck to use for plowing snow, but with the bed and boxes it was just too handy to use as a plow truck and we never did mount the plow to it. I have been using this truck to pull my car trailer around with my mowers and small 46 HP Kubota tractor. I can tell you first hand; that this truck runs perfectly, everything works (except the drivers window has a bad switch), but the truck is good! the air conditioning works perfect, heat, radio, it all works just as it should. The tires are about 60% tread remaining. The cab of the truck and the bed has a few dings and scratches, and some surface rust on it, but it is still very useable and solid. There is a Gooseneck ball mounted under the bed frame. The Flatbed is 11 feet long and 8 feet wide. It is a steel flatbed, with a headache rack behind the cab. We have recently serviced this truck and it is 100% ready to go for the next owner. This truck pulls excellent! It is ready to go to work and do what you need it to do. I guarantee this description to be accurate! Should you get here and feel this truck to be anything LESS than described, I will happily refund your deposit and pay your fuel costs home. It's that simple... You don't like it... You don't own it! I reserve the right to end this auction early due to local sale. You are welcome to come view the truck prior to bidding/buying. Shipping is the buyers responsibility, however, I will deliver/meet you with the truck for just $1.75 per mile (round trip) once the vehicle is paid for. I have the clear title in hand. Please call me with any questions 307-391-0168 ask for Chuck.
The reserve price is private, however I will disclose that the reserve is LESS than the price I have it listed for locally. I am interested in selling this vehicle......if you are interested and SERIOUS about buying it, please contact me. I also have a 2008 F450; 4x4; 4 door crew cab diesel(awesome truck) flatbed with a welder and air compressor and nice packrat boxes and under bed boxes 2007 F550 Lariat, diesel; chrome wheels; flatbed, 4x4; 2 large 4' packrats on each side ($3800.00 option); Montezuma toolbox; and under bed boxesthis is a really awesome truck, 2005 Dodge 3500 flatbed, diesel; 4 door crew cab, packrat and Montezum tool box 1997 F350, gas 7.5 liter (460) V-8; 4 door with a 10 Boss V plow. Thanks for Looking. I want a hassle free/easy transaction, as I am sure you do. Let me know what I can do for you to make it happen. |

All eyes on Detroit as automakers prepare for slow, careful reopening of plants
Thu, May 14 2020DETROIT — The U.S. factories that make Fords, Chevys and Jeeps are coming back to life this week as workers install new safety equipment and wake up machines ahead of the high-stakes restart the Detroit automakers plan to launch on Monday. Ford, General Motors and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles all plan to reopen North American factories on May 18. The reopening of the U.S. auto sector will be a closely watched test of whether workers across a range of industries can return to factories in large numbers without a resurgence of COVID-19 infections. How well the automakers do will be significant for the U.S. economy, as nearly 1 million workers are employed in the sector. Executives at Ford and GM said separately this week the companies have not recorded any cases of COVID-19 transmission in plants outside the United States since adopting new safety protocols. Those procedures include mandatory face masks, separation of workers on assembly lines, frequent cleaning of work areas and requirements that workers pass through temperature monitors and report any symptoms before entering a plant. The Detroit Three have taken unprecedented steps to share information about coronavirus safety practices and develop a common set of workplace standards for their restarts, working with the United Auto Workers union, executives said. "We thought it was critical that we did it together," Ford manufacturing and labor chief Gary Johnson told Reuters. "We've never done this as an industry." The Detroit automakers will restart U.S. plants without regular testing of workers, because they do not have access to sufficient testing capacity, executives and UAW officials said. They will test workers who report COVID-19 symptoms or have fevers discovered by temperature scanners installed at factory entrances. "We have to continue to push for this testing," United Auto Workers union Vice President Cindy Estrada told Reuters on Wednesday. "Unless we have testing weekly to keep sick people out of the plant there is always a risk." Adopting new safety practices is just part of the work the companies must do to reopen after an extraordinary shutdown that has lasted two months. Â Wave zero At Ford, workers going in to ready factories are part of what Chief Operating Officer Jim Farley calls "wave zero." The work of wave zero employees "is really important for success of the startup," he said in an interview.
Ford Mustang GT500 successor spied near SVT
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Details about the next-gen Ford Mustang are scarce, and there's even less information out there about the upcoming replacement for the Shelby GT500. Previously rumored to drop the Shelby name and wear the GT350 moniker, the highest-performance Mustang has just been spotted testing near Ford's SVT operations.
Despite being cloaked in heavy camouflage, we can instantly tell this prototype is different from other Mustang spy shots we've seen in the past. Aside from the Shelby-spec wheels, quad exhaust outlets (previous spy shots show only two) and beefier brakes, this car also has air intakes on the hood and front fenders. These elements help to neither prove nor dismiss rumors that the next SVT Mustang will be naturally aspirated. It also looks like Ford is may be planning some changes to this car's rear suspension, as there is some extra camouflage added beneath the rear end of this prototype.
As a bonus, these spy shots also give us our first look inside the new Mustang, revealing a new steering wheel (with more buttons) and a glimpse of the dual-pod instrument gauges. Check out past spy shots of the 2015 Mustang showing off its new face and driving around town.
Ford files trademark for 'EcoBeast' moniker
Mon, Dec 29 2014Ford has done some performance stuff with its EcoBoost line of vehicles, most notably with its Focus and Fiesta ST, the new, turbocharged Mustang and the luke-warm Taurus SHO and F-150 Tremor, but it's kind of avoided going wholly bonkers. That could be set to change quite soon, judging by a trademark filing with Uncle Sam. Ford has registered the name EcoBeast with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, listing it as "automobiles and automobile engines," according to the team at Motorlix, which discovered the filing. As always, it bears mentioning that companies are constantly filing trademarks, even if a good or service never emerges with said name. We agree with Motorlix, though – it seems highly unlikely Ford is going to just let this name languish. What vehicle or engine will wear this new badge is the real question. We're leaning towards something F-150 related, based on our last round of spy photos of the new SVT Raptor, although it's impossible to say for certain what the Blue Oval has planned. Here's hoping we find out in just a few weeks when Ford brings basically all of its performance merchandise to the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Until then, let us know what you think Ford is planning with the EcoBeast.
