If you have any questions feel free to email me at: stephensrrenteria@britishlions.net .
This is my 2002 F350 XLT crew cab long bed. The truck came from California and is 100% rust free. Truck has been
stored winters in a heated shop and never been in snow or salt. The current photos posted are before i clean the
truck up. I want to give an accurate depiction of how it looks on a day to day biases as i drive it. Truck has been
meticulously maintained. Oil changes have been done every 2500-3000 miles using only motor craft oil and filters.
The truck goes through a complete service every winter. I personally remove the wheels clean everything check the
brakes, grease the caliper slide pins, inspect the u-joints and check the wheel bearings. The truck rides on a
fab-tech 4-link 8 inch lift with brand new 37 13.50 20 Toyo open country mud terrain tires. The tires are on forged
center-line wheels.Truck rides so much better with coil overs vs leaf springs. There was some bump steer with the
lift installed so i did a crossover steering kit from PMF with a redhead steering box , new Ford pump, lines and
hydro booster. The truck handles much better and has no issues turning the tires. The track bar was raised at the
same time to keep all of the geometry correct. When driving the truck exhibits much less body roll with the raised
track bar and tracks flat through corners. The engine runs perfect and uses no oil. All of the fuel and oil lines
have been resealed with o-rings from diesel o-rings.com. There are no leaks or drips. The turbo has ben replaced
with a Garrett GTP38R ball-bearing unit with a ww2. Also installed is a EBPV delete pedestal and flange. The turbo
spools much better. The transmission shifts flawlessly and has had regular flushes. There is some shudder under
take off and is related to the 2 piece rear drive shaft angle. I have a shop that will build a 1 piece shaft that
will solve the problem. I did not find it annoying enough to warrant going that route. There is a 6 position tuner
along with air intake exhaust and Isspro gauges. The exterior of the truck has genuine Ford 08 and up tow mirrors
05 Headlights and ridged led driving lights with rigid bracket kit.The paint is clean and is waxed regularly. There
is normal wear and tear, stone chips minor dings ect. Again 100% rust free. I have a set of fender flares to go
with it, also a set of PMF pinch weld covers. The AMP Research steps work flawlessly and are a great product. the
interior is near perfect no rips tears or stains. the sound system is all high end components.I did nothing cheap
on this truck. The truck runs and drive perfect needs nothing.the only item that does not work properly is the
isspro trans temp gauge.I believe it is the AMP box for it but i have yet to diagnose it. If this is a major
concern i will have it working.

Ford lowers MPG ratings on six vehicles
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Ford has announced that it will be lowering the fuel economy ratings on a number of its 2013 and 2014 model year vehicles after an error was discovered in the company's internal testing data. The EPA has been notified.
Worryingly for Ford, the vast majority of the vehicles affected are hybrids, including the C-Max, Fusion and MKZ in both hybrid and plug-in varieties (where applicable). Also covered as part of the rerating is the entire lineup of 2014 Fiesta engines, with the exception of the ST, including the turbocharged, three-cylinder EcoBoost.
The C-Max was originally rated at 47/47/47 mpg, but dropped to 43/45/40 last year and now to 40/42/37.
Ford expands door-latch recall to 156k more vehicles, nearly 550k total
Fri, May 1 2015Ford is being inundated with recalls as of late. Just days ago it called in over 590,000 cars for a variety of issues. Now, the Blue Oval has announced an expansion of its door latch campaign to cover an additional 156,000 vehicles in North America. Counting the original 389,585 cars, this has brought the total to 545,906. Under this expansion, the same models are affected, but Ford is broadening the coverage dates in some cases. The recall covers the 2011-2014 Fiesta, 2013-2014 Fusion, and 2013-2014 Lincoln MKZ; there are 456,440 units in the US, 50,681 in Canada, and 38,785 in Mexico in need of repair. In these vehicles, a door might not latch because of a broken pawl spring tab. Even if a passenger can successfully close it, the faulty part could unlatch while driving. According to Ford, there are two allegations of doors bounding back and hitting a person. There's also one possible accident from a door opening and striking another vehicle. Dealers will replace all of the latches to fix the problem. Related Video: MAY 1, 2015 | DEARBORN, MICH. FORD EXPANDS DOOR LATCH SAFETY RECALL IN NORTH AMERICA DEARBORN, Mich., May 1, 2015 – Ford Motor Company is expanding a safety recall regarding door latches to include approximately 156,000 more vehicles at the request of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, bringing the total to 545,906 vehicles in North America. The door latch in certain vehicles may experience a broken pawl spring tab, which typically results in a condition where the door will not latch. If a customer is then able to latch the door, there is a potential the door may unlatch while driving, increasing the risk of injury. Ford is aware of a total two allegations of soreness resulting from an unlatched door bouncing back when the customer attempted to close it, and one accident allegation when an unlatched door swung open and struck the adjacent vehicle as the driver was pulling into a parking space. Affected vehicles include certain 2011-14 Fiesta vehicles built at Cuautitlan Assembly Plant, Nov. 3, 2009 to May 31, 2013; certain 2013-14 Fusion vehicles built at Hermosillo Assembly Plant, Feb. 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013; certain 2014 Fusion vehicles built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant, April 12, 2013 to April 26, 2013; and certain 2013-14 Lincoln MKZ vehicles built at Hermosillo Assembly Plant, Feb. 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013. There are 456,440 vehicles in the United States and federalized territories, 50,681 in Canada and 38,785 in Mexico.
All eyes on Detroit as automakers prepare for slow, careful reopening of plants
Thu, May 14 2020DETROIT — The U.S. factories that make Fords, Chevys and Jeeps are coming back to life this week as workers install new safety equipment and wake up machines ahead of the high-stakes restart the Detroit automakers plan to launch on Monday. Ford, General Motors and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles all plan to reopen North American factories on May 18. The reopening of the U.S. auto sector will be a closely watched test of whether workers across a range of industries can return to factories in large numbers without a resurgence of COVID-19 infections. How well the automakers do will be significant for the U.S. economy, as nearly 1 million workers are employed in the sector. Executives at Ford and GM said separately this week the companies have not recorded any cases of COVID-19 transmission in plants outside the United States since adopting new safety protocols. Those procedures include mandatory face masks, separation of workers on assembly lines, frequent cleaning of work areas and requirements that workers pass through temperature monitors and report any symptoms before entering a plant. The Detroit Three have taken unprecedented steps to share information about coronavirus safety practices and develop a common set of workplace standards for their restarts, working with the United Auto Workers union, executives said. "We thought it was critical that we did it together," Ford manufacturing and labor chief Gary Johnson told Reuters. "We've never done this as an industry." The Detroit automakers will restart U.S. plants without regular testing of workers, because they do not have access to sufficient testing capacity, executives and UAW officials said. They will test workers who report COVID-19 symptoms or have fevers discovered by temperature scanners installed at factory entrances. "We have to continue to push for this testing," United Auto Workers union Vice President Cindy Estrada told Reuters on Wednesday. "Unless we have testing weekly to keep sick people out of the plant there is always a risk." Adopting new safety practices is just part of the work the companies must do to reopen after an extraordinary shutdown that has lasted two months. Â Wave zero At Ford, workers going in to ready factories are part of what Chief Operating Officer Jim Farley calls "wave zero." The work of wave zero employees "is really important for success of the startup," he said in an interview.
