1997 Ford F350 4x4 T-Tag dump. Has some rust on cab and fenders, bed has some rot on tail gate and rear corners, nothing excessive and otherwise in good condition. truck is solid but with typical wear for a truck this year. speedometer is not working, I cannot verify true mileage but was told it went out about 6 to 8 months ago at 46,000 miles and was driven very little from that time due to its replacement, mileage is estimated under  70000.  Former township truck with very little use. Power steering is weak, it is believed the pump will need replaced. truck does run good and strong with very, very little no to smoke while running, does have some typical smoke at start up in cold weather. Truck comes with the following as pictured:

Central hydraulics for plow and spreader.

Rear mounted Fink spreader with in cab controls.

9' Hiniker quick mount power angle snow plow with hand pendent control.

2 stage dump cylinder for dump bed.

Bed vibrator for getting out stubborn material.

7.3 turbo diesel with 4 speed w/ over drive manual transmission.

Tear tailgate mounted light bar

Manual bed tarp (does have a few small tears)

New alternator with in the last year. Fairly new batteries.

Over all cab is in fairly good condition, front fenders do have some rust  (small hole on each side) at the top of the mud flaps but no major dents or scratches. Power steering and speedometer both will need some attention. Hydraulics and dump work as they should, bed powers up and down. Spreader works but one hose has a hole in it. Has amber rotating light and spreader light. Plow raises and angles with no issues. Tires are not the best but do have some tread left and hold air. Truck drives smooth and handles well even with the weak steering (unless you're trying to turn when stopped).

Ask any questions and I will try and answer to the best of my knowledge. email if you would like to see the truck in person.

local pick up only. shipping will be buyers responsibility for arrangements and cost.

$500. down payment within 24 hours of sale end, remaining payment within 10 days.

Mustang GT350 reveal coming Nov 17?

Mon, 03 Nov 2014

Ford looks to have something really big planned for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Blue Oval has released the first of five teaser videos on the brand's performance heritage, and aside from some great images of racers over the years, the video includes a series of teaser images, the last of which points to November 17, 2014.
That's the day before press days open in LA, and considering the propensity of global automakers to plan lavish debuts the night before a major international auto show, it's a virtual certainty that Ford will be showing off some sort of special vehicle.
That'd be news in and of itself, but based on the images shown in Ford's teaser video - which include an Alcantara steering wheel, a "Powered by Ford" valve cover, aluminum pedals, sticky tires, a big, round exhaust tip, a honeycomb grille and a serious set of wheels - it seems very likely that Ford will be showing something performance oriented.

Ford recalls more than 550,000 trucks and SUVs for various safety issues

Wed, Aug 12 2020

Ford announced safety recalls for its current F-150 pickup along with several Ford and Lincoln crossovers early Wednesday. The recalls cover more than 550,000 vehicles and address various safety defects, ranging from a fire hazard to potential loss of braking power.  The most far-reaching of the recalls covers approximately 550,000 examples of the 2015-2018 Ford Edge and 2016-2018 Lincoln MKX, which may have been assembled with defective front brake jounce hoses (also commonly referred to as "flex lines"). These hoses run from fixed points on the chassis to the individual front brake calipers. Defective hoses could potentially rupture, allowing brake fluid to leak and resulting in a loss of braking function. Ford will replace the components in question with revised parts.  The next-largest recall is for roughly 3,000 2020 Lincoln Corsair crossovers. The affected models may have been assembled without proper clearance between their rear suspension springs and toe link brackets. The components could potentially make contact, wearing down the protective coating on the rear coil springs, allowing corrosion to occur over time. This corrosion could eventually lead to a failure of the spring. If this happens while the vehicle is being driven, it could result in a sudden change to the vehicle's handling characteristics, and the spring fragments could potentially cause further damage to the car or surrounding traffic.  Ford says owners will be notified that their Corsairs need to be inspected; if there is not adequate clearance between the rear suspension components, Ford's service technicians will remove material from the toe link bracket to allow for operation without contact.  The final (and by far the smallest) recall is for the 2020 F-150. Some units may have left the factory with the incorrect retention nut on the hot lead to the starter motor. Ford says it can cause increased heat generation or electrical arcing, which could potentially result in a fire. Ford says this issue is limited to just a few hundred examples sold in the United States. Dealers will inspect the vehicles and replace the nut if necessary.

Ford will build Hackmobile out of Transit Connect Wagon

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

What you see in the above image is a rendering of the Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon. What is that? It's a "mobile fabrication and hacking unit" that includes tools for metal- and woodworking, 3D and electronics fabrication, a three-axis CNC machine called "The Fabber," a video projector and screen, an air compressor, an 84x48-inch work surface that folds out like a Murphy bed and oh so much more. When not in use, all of the implements fold neatly into the back of Ford's award-winning van.
But perhaps the more important question is why is that? Because Make Magazine held an Ultimate Maker Vehicle Challenge in conjunction with Ford in which ten teams created were charged with creating "the ultimate Ford Transit Connect Wagon for the do-it-yourself enthusiast." Team Twin Cities Maker won the competition with the Hackmobile, and in addition to winning $10,000, Ford has declared it's actually going to build the thing - which is great, because if they can actually engineer a road-legal Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon as envisioned, the inevitable A-Team movie reboot might need to think about including it.
Check out the video below for a cheeky walk-through of the Hackmobile, and get all the particulars in the press release below that.
