1986 Ford F-350, 4X4, 6.9L IH naturally aspirated Diesel (non-turbo), 4 speed manual, tilt wheel, dually, dual tanks, manual windows and locks, AM/FM stereo, "welder's Bed", front mounted jumper cable system. Truck was re-painted 6 years ago by second owner, the paint is not perfect but does look good. Truck has only 150,xxx miles on it and is in great shape. Mileage may increase because I still use the truck weekly around my farm. This is an extra truck that I primarily use around my Farm to take cattle to market and to pull my gooseneck with. The only reason I am selling this truck is because I would like to get a bigger cab truck. Therefore, I am not willing to just give this truck away! If I can not get around what I am asking for it, I will just keep it! The A/C works in the truck and has been converted from R-12 to R-134a, new lifetime warranty starter and solenoid, new tank selector valve, new fuel lift pump, new thermostat and sending unit, new glow plugs, new glow plug controller switch, new fuel lines, new tires, new brakes, new seat with center arm rest, new dash, nerf bars, new dual exhaust, truck has pintel hitch, gooseneck hitch, and electric trailer brake controller. Truck also equipped with Grant anti-theft system, steering wheel can be removed from truck to prevent theft. The only problem with the truck is the driver side vinyl floor worn through, but not the floors, they are solid. I just had the truck to my "CERTIFIED MASTER FORD" mechanic to make sure the truck did not anything before listing. I am the 3rd owner of this truck. The truck was originally owned by a welding company that bought it new in 86' as a cab and chassis, they built and added the bed on the truck. The truck was then bought by an employee and then by me. I have the truck listed locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. I prefer a local sale. Buyer responsible for making all arrangements and all fees for non-local sales.
The vehicle history shows and accident however this is not TRUE. Within a few days of buying the truck two years ago, the truck was at mechanics shop to be fully checked out. Someone broke into the shop and tried to steal the truck, they were not successful, but did damage to the steering column, ignition switch, and some of the lower dash under the steering wheel, no windows were broken, and the truck never left the shop and all damage was repaired or replaced, but I did file a claim with my insurance company.
I want everyone to understand, I am not aware of any mechanical issues with the truck and I am NOT listing the truck because it has a mechanical problem, I am truly listing the truck because I need a bigger truck! The truck is in really good shape, even better than when I bought it a few years ago! However the truck is not a new truck, but if you are looking for a good diesel truck without all of the troublesome computer and emission problems of today's trucks, this is the truck for you! Contact me via e-bay for any questions you may have and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

Forza Motorsport 6's new drivable Hot Wheels cars are the best
Tue, May 3 2016Each month, Turn 10 Studios releases a new car pack for the latest installment of its Forza Motorsport video game. Sometimes that means less-than-exciting stuff coming to our Xbox Ones – BMW X6M, bleh – but this time our inner seven-year-old is beyond ecstatic. Two of the seven cars are based on actual Hot Wheels models. And. They're. Awesome. First we have the 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker. Yes, there are flames on the side. And yes, there's a giant skull where the grille should be. This one came from the imagination of "Mr. Hot Wheels" Larry Wood, whose design was so popular it inspired an actual real-world creation. Like all good things in this world, it's powered by a small-block Chevy V8. Oh, and it has no roof. This will be a popular one among gamers. The other digitized Hot Wheels creation is a 2005 Ford Mustang. A modest vehicle, sure, but the toy designers have festooned this pony car with a wild paint scheme and the body mods to emphasize it. Originally developed to celebrate the 'Stang's 50th birthday, this Hot Wheels car trades Americana for wild Japanese style. There's just one functioning life-size version of this car in existence as well, but if you look hard, you might be able to find one of the 1:64 scale models that inspired it. Other highlights from this month's car pack include the latest Ford Focus RS – finally time to replace that NASCAR-V8-powered, all-wheel-drive 2009 Focus RS – the 2015 McLaren P1 GTR, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, the aforementioned X6M, and Alain Prost's 1990 Ferrari 641 F1 car. The Hot Wheels Car Pack is available for download today. Suppliers love Toyota and Honda: Why that matters to you
Mon, May 15 2017You might think that a survey of automotive suppliers and their relationship with OEMs is the automotive equivalent of nerd prom. In some ways that's what the North American Automotive OEM-Supplier Working Relations Index (WRI) is. The study, the 17th annual conducted by Planning Perspectives Inc., is based on input from 652 salespeople from 108 Tier One suppliers, or, PPI points out, 40 of the top 50 automotive suppliers in North America. Suppliers to General Motors, Ford, FCA, Toyota, Honda, and Nissan. But the results have consequences in terms of tens of millions of dollars for OEMs - and in the quality, technology, and cost of the next vehicle you buy. There are a couple of ways to look at the results of the WRI. One is, "So what else is new?" And the other is, "Damn! How did that happen?" The study looks at five relationship areas — OEM Supplier Relationship; OEM Communication; OEM Help; OEM Hindrance; Supplier Profit Opportunity — within six purchasing areas — Body-in-White; Chassis; Electrical/Electronics; Exterior; Interior; Powertrain. In the overall rankings, Toyota is on top for the 15 th time in 17 years, with a score of 328. Honda, the only company to best Toyota (in 2009 and 2010), comes in second, at 319. Those two companies, explains John Henke, president of PPI, have collaborative working arrangements with colleagues and suppliers alike built into the very fabric of their cultures. This, however, is not a situation where one can readily conclude it is about "Japanese companies," because the third company with headquarters on the island of Honshu, Nissan, came in dead last. This is the "How did that happen?" portion. The Nissan score of 203 puts it 125 points behind Toyota. There hasn't been a number that low since the then-Chrysler Corp. scored 187 in 2010, when the company was clawing its way out of the recession. Clearly, the suppliers don't feel particularly engaged by the buyers at Nissan. Henke explains that whether a company does well or not on the WRI is rather simple. All people do things based on what they're measured on. "If you're measured on taking 10% out of your annual buy, you immediately know how to do it. But if you're also measured on improving relations, suddenly there is a new dynamic as to what you can do to achieve both.
Peel and Ford Transit do a great Austin Powers impression
Tue, May 6 2014It's no secret that the average fullsize cargo van is big. Like, really big. Expressing that size, though, without actually seeing the van in question, is a pretty tall order. When viewed from the right angle, even something as big as a cargo van can appear very small (look up forced perspective, to see what we mean). That's why it's always good to have a second object on hand, to provide a sense of scale. Ford took this simple idea to the extreme, illustrating the size of the new Ford Transit by pulling the world's smallest production car, the Peel P50, nose first into the van's 487-cubic-foot cargo area. That's no big deal, though, right? After all, at just 54 inches long and 39 inches wide, the Peel would fit quite happily in even the smallest fullsize truck bed. Ford takes it a step further, though. With the help of an actual reverse gear (we're guessing this is a CVT-equipped, electric model), the P50 manages to turn itself around and drive out. It does this in less than two minutes. So yeah, the Ford Transit is a pretty big van. Take a look below for the video from Ford. This content is hosted by a third party.
