Selling my 2005 Ford F250 single cab power stroke diesel four wheel drive.  Very nice truck inside and out.  It has had all of the following upgrades to make it extremely reliable, (ARP head studs, Upgraded oil cooler, HPOP fitting update kit, Full EGR delete, Heavy duty clutch, and a small banks six gun tuner to add hp and increase fuel mileage.  Mechanically this truck is in excellent shape, it does not leak a drop of anything or have any excessive blowzy or smoke. The truck has been stored inside and the body is in great shape. No rust (even none underneath) other than a very small chip that has made pin sized bubbles on one rear quarter but it was so small even the camera wouldn't pick it up. Has a few dents here and there from use(I have photos of the dents listed) I had a 2010 tailgate painted and put on, it has stainless cutback dual exhaust, the mirrors, dash, gauge pod, and door card switch covers were all smoothed and painted to match the truck.  It has full towing package with trailer brakes and also a hideaway fifth wheel trailer hitch in the bed. The tires are in excellent shape.  The only reason I am selling the truck is I upgraded to the new ecoboost and now that I am married I do not need both. This truck was not built up to have high hp or be a pulling truck, it was simply upgraded to improve reliability and do preventative maintenance.  It does have 190K miles on it but this truck is nicer than most I have seen with 70K miles on them.  Runs great and drives awesome and it should be a bulletproof 6.0L.  I will take any pictures or video if anyone wants to see anything specific. It has shift of the fly 4x4 power seats, 6-disc cd player, cruise, Ice cold a/c, tilt steering wheel, and window tint.  It is a 6-speed manual trans (5 speed+Low) and the clutch is in great shape, it does not slip at all or make any unusual noises and shifts very smooth.  Don't miss your chance to own this rare packed truck. Message me with any questions or call or txt at 3098244533.  thanks

One Step at a Time
Nearly every flavor of exotic driveline has been shoved into the ubiquitous Ford at some point or another.
Chuck Schwynoch had been patiently listening to my ramblings on the other end of the phone for a solid half hour. I'm not too big of a man to know when to ask for help, and at this point, I desperately needed some assistance. The truth is, working on a machine like a Fox Body Mustang is as easy as breathing thanks to the wealth of information available on the web. Nearly every flavor of exotic driveline has been shoved into the ubiquitous Ford at some point or another, and odds are the sorry souls behind those builds shared the highs and lows of their torment with the internet community.

Ford C-Max spied with fresh updates

Fri, 05 Sep 2014

The Ford C-Max hatchback looks to be getting a few cosmetic updates, as evidenced in this latest set of spy photos. Like the smaller Focus, which also received a nip/tuck for the 2015 model year, the C-Max appears to be getting a revised front fascia with slimmer headlamps and a more, shall we say, Aston Martin-like grille. Around back, there looks to be a new bumper with redesigned taillamps, as well.
In other markets, the C-Max people-mover is available with a range of powertrains, but here in the US, it exists either as a traditional gas-electric or plug-in hybrid. The C-Max's fuel economy has been a particular topic of interest lately, with its official fuel economy ratings having been lowered twice since the vehicle's launch. Sales initially suffered a bit following this fiasco, though numbers have since leveled out. It's unclear if Ford is working on any powertrain tweaks for the updated C-Max seen here, however.
Ford has likely spruced up the hatch's interior, as well, though we don't have photos of that at this time. Mum's the word on when we'll see the new C-Max, but our best guess is that it'll arrive sometime in the next year.

2015 Ford F-150 brings big aluminum to the Rust Belt [w/video]

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

Just when you thought you'd figured the fullsize truck market out, Ford goes and throws us a massive curve ball with the 2015 F-150. The big headline news aren't tow or payload ratings, though we're sure those figures will be fully competitive if not class leading, they haven't yet been announced. Instead, the big headline news Ford is highlighting are the truck's new aluminum-intensive structure and 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.
And with good reason - all that aluminum means that Ford was able to cut a massive 700 pounds from the truck's curb weight. That is going to cause all sorts of great things to happen to the 2015 F-150's driving dynamics, performance and fuel efficiency, not to mention its ability to haul heavy loads. For those customers worried about the strength of aluminum versus the more conventional steel, Ford is quick to point out that many military vehicles, such as the HMMWV and Bradley Fighting Vehicle, use a very similar sort of aluminum alloy in their construction.
It's also worth mentioning that the backbone, a fully boxed ladder frame, is hewn from high-strength steel. Ford says "2015 Ford F-150 is the strongest and most durable F-150 ever," for what it's worth, claiming that "torture tested" in labs and in the real world for more than 10 million miles. What's more, the truck, in disguised form, completed all 883 miles of the Baja 1000.
