You are looking at a 2003 Ford F250, FX4 - lifted diesel, 4 wheel drive pickup truck. We are a small Pennsylvania car dealership. We came across this pickup truck in the spring of the year. It had 98,000 miles at the time, it now has 103,000. So my son drove it approximately 5,000 miles throughout the summer with no issues. He is now going back to school and needs something a little bit more practical.
Here is a list of items that I believe where added (but none of the work was performed by us) the previous owner told us it was done at a professional diesel shop:
Sky Jacker Lift Kit & Stabalizer Kit ---- 24" Fuel Wheels (great condition) ---- 37" x 13.50 Nitto Mud Grappler Tires ---- 7" Dual Stacks (45 Degree Cut) ---- K&N Air Filter ---- Bushwacker Fender Flairs ---- Chrome Running Boards ---- Tinted Windows ---- Smooth Transmission Shift Kit ***** AFTERMARKET PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED HEAD STUDS **** EGR Delete Kit ---- Carbon Fiber Door Accessory Kit ---- Black Carbon Fiber Tail Lights ---- CD-USB Bluetooth Head Unit ---- Kicker Door Speakers ---- Rain Guards ---- Chrome Bug Guard ---- Windshield Visor ---- Ice Cold Air Conditioning
This truck is 10 years old so don't expect it to be brand new. But I do feel that it is in good condition for the year. It does have some cigarette burns and small flaws in the interior. I do see where it has had some touch up work done to the paint. But frame and underneath are very clean and straight. Due to this truck having so much modification done, it is being sold "AS-IS" and "WHERE-IS". But you are welcome to come down, go over it as you please, we could put a dealer plate on it and you can take it for a long ride. If you do come across something that you don't like, we will refund your deposit with no hard feelings. But again, with such modifications, once you purchase it, it is yours.
I will require a $500 deposit (preferably through Paypal) within 48 hours of close of auction. The balance is to be paid by certified funds within 7 days of close of auction. This item is being sold "as-is" and "where-is". THANK YOU FOR CHECKING OUT OUR AUCTION...

Ken Block is at it again in Gymkhana 6
Mon, 11 Nov 2013If there's one thing we'll say about Ken Block and his latest installment in the Gymkhana family, it's that it's far more structured than previous videos, but that doesn't mean it skimps on the entertainment. Block is on a purpose-built course which was touted as "The... Ultimate... Gymkhana... Grid... Course" in last week's preview. Unlike Gymkhana 5, which took placed on closed streets in San Francisco, this course seems much more compact.
Block has an entire array of challenges to tackle in his 650-horsepower Ford Fiesta ST, and none of them look particularly easy. In fact, we'd argue that Gymkhana 6's grid course requires much more precise driving that previous titles. There are Segways, Lamborghinis and massive pieces of construction equipment that all must be dealt with.
We've got the entire 6:28 of Gymkhana madness for you down below. Scroll down for the video and then hit Comments and let us know how this installment compares to previous Block works.
Shelby American cleans house of 14 concept cars
Wed, 25 Jun 2014Typically when an automaker rolls out a concept car or pre-production prototype, it does its tour and then disappears into the company's archives. Maybe it will be displayed for the public to see in the company's own museum or maybe it will spend most of its time under covers in a warehouse somewhere, but every once in a while, an automaker will open up its history and start selling off its concept cars. For Shelby American, "once in a while" has just rolled around.
The House that Carroll Built is moving from its previous headquarters at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to a new facility off of the Las Vegas strip, and in the process is liquidating fourteen of the rarest cars in its collection. That presents a tremendous opportunity for muscle car collectors to bring one or more of these snakes home.
As you might expect, the catalog is composed mostly of Mustangs, but not exclusively. There's a pair of 289 Cobras: the last of the 50th anniversary slab-sided continuation cars and an original development vehicle, offered at $200,000 apiece. At the other end of the spectrum you'll find the 2013 Shelby Raptor concept for $125k and Focus concept for $50k. And of course there are the Mustangs.
Our love of SUVs is killing people in the streets
Tue, Jul 17 2018Americans are fond of supersized fast-food meals and colossal convenience-store fountain drinks, even though they're clearly bad for our health and U.S. adults keep getting fatter. We also like large vehicles, and our love affair with SUVs is killing people in the streets. According to a recent investigation by the Detroit Free Press/USA Today, the increase in SUV sales over the past several years coincides with a sharp rise in pedestrian deaths in the U.S. — up 46 percent since 2009, with nearly 6,000 people killed in 2016 alone. With SUV sales surpassing sedans in 2014 and pickups and SUVs currently accounting for 60 percent of new vehicle sales, it's no wonder Ford announced in April plans to cease U.S. sales of almost all passenger cars. And this followed Fiat Chrysler's move to virtually an all-truck, -SUV and -crossover lineup. While the Freep/USA Today investigation found that the simultaneous surge in SUV sales and pedestrian deaths comes down to vehicle size, it also points to a lack of action on the part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), even though it knew of the dangers SUVs pose to pedestrians. Also blamed are automakers dragging their feet on implementing active safety features. Using federal accident data, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) determined that there was an 81 percent increase in single-vehicle pedestrian fatalities involving SUVs between 2009 and 2016. Freep/USA Today's analysis of the same data by counting vehicles that struck and killed pedestrians instead of the number of people killed showed a 69 percent increase in SUV involvement. As far back as 2001, researchers at Rowan University forecasted a rise in pedestrian deaths as Americans began switching to SUVs. "In the United States, passenger vehicles are shifting from a fleet populated primarily by cars to a fleet dominated by light trucks and vans," the researchers wrote, with light trucks comprising SUVs.
