Body is rougher than pictures show.

Auction might end early and I reserve the right to do so.

Sold as is.

RUST OVER WHEELS IS WORSE THAN PICTURES DUE TO SITTING OVER A MONTH WHILE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL.

No need to pick it apart- it is what it is. I have driven 70 miles a day to work with no worries.

Look at the pictures and ask any questions you might have!
Yes it has miles and normal rust, but always starts

plows like it is mad at the snow.

Tows super.

Great truck -

Great back-up truck.

Great yard truck

2000 Ford F 250 Super Duty 4x4 Off Road Ext.Cab -v10 - Automatic - 4 door with an 8 foot box

Boss Rt 3 - 7 1/2 foot Super duty Snow Plow

Kelly blue book is $5400 - $6400 for the truck + a Boss snow plow worth $2000 - $3000 + install.

Need to sell ASAP please.

If you can use it and can afford it- now is the time!!

Email with questions please

I am available almost any time by appointment as I am a private party.

Fun to drive and runs -  shifts - stops great.

The good...

Truck has an 8 foot box and an extended cab.

V10, Automatic, 4x4, 4 door extended cab with bench seat, Lockouts, power steering, 4wheel disc brakes, dark tint windows

Super work truck that you can carry 4 more people with you.

Boss Super Duty snow plow has 2 new hydro turn rams last winter.

I have spent over $4200 in maintainence in the last year on the truck and plow

Higher miles but the truck runs and drives well - miles will be a bit higher as I drive the truck often.

No unusual leaks - transmission shifts well

Very heavy duty and ready to work and / or tow / haul

The not so good...

The truck has rust over both rear wheels (usual Ford area) Cab corners have rust as well as the door bottoms.

Truck has its share of dents too.

Previous owner used a rattle can of white paint to do tailgate and areas of the truck.

Abs light is on - truck stops fine

Ac needs repair to work

Has leak at 1 of the exhaust manifolds (another Ford v10 area)

Should have tires replaced.(all have tread, but rears do not match tread)seat is worn on driver's side

Front seat is worn badly

                        ------------------------------
-My thoughts on the exhaust and tires are I will leave this to the next owner. If I replace these issues, the next owner may want headers and big tires to take advantage of the great clearance and the power house of an engine.-

Sold as is and as seen

Advertised locally so may end early...

Buyer pays and sets up any and all issues of shipping.

You can bus or fly here and drive her home too.

Thank you and good luck!

Car technology I'm thankful and unthankful for

Mon, Nov 27 2017

The past few years have seen a surge of tech features in new vehicles — everything from cloud-based content to semi-autonomous driving. While some of it makes the driving experience better, not all tech is useful or well thought out. Automakers who are adept at drivetrains, ride quality and in-cabin comforts often fail at infotainment interfaces and connectivity. From testing dozens of vehicles each year and in the spirit of gratitude, here are three car tech features I'm thankful — and a trio I could live without. Thanks Connected search: This seems like a no-brainer since everyone already has it on their smartphones, but not all automakers include it in the dashboard and as part of their nav systems. The best ones, such as Toyota Entune, leverage a driver's connected device to search for a range of services and don't charge a subscription or require a separate data plan for the car. I also like how systems like Chrysler Uconnect use Yelp or other apps to find everything from coffee to gas stations and allow searching via voice recognition. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto: It took two of the largest tech companies to get in-dash infotainment right. While they have their disadvantages (you're forced to use Apple Maps with CarPlay, for example), the two smartphone-integration platforms make it easier and safer to use their respective native apps for phoning, messaging, music and more behind the wheel by transferring a familiar UI to the dashboard — with no subscription required. Heated seats and steering wheels: I really appreciate these simple but pleasant features come wintertime. It's easy to get spoiled by bun-warmers on frosty mornings and using a heated steering wheel to warm the cold hands. I recently tested a 2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe that also had heated armrest that added to a cozy luxury experience. Bonus points for brands like Buick that allow setting seat heaters to turn on when the engine is remotely started. No thanks Automaker infotainment systems: Automakers have probably poured millions into creating their own infotainment systems, with the result largely being frustration on the part of most car owners. And Apple CarPlay and Android Auto coming along to make them obsolete. While some automaker systems, such as Toyota Entune and FCA's Uconnect, are easy and intuitive to use, it seems that high-end systems (I'm looking at you BMW iDrive and Mercedes-Benz COMAND) are the most difficult.

Old vs. new debate gets new life with $25,000 Fiesta ST vs. E46 M3 showdown

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

You know who you are. There's probably a few of you reading; the ones that say, "Why would I spend $27,000 on a new Mazda MX-5 when I could get a used Chevrolet Corvette with more power." Yes, we're talking to you, used car proponents. While it is a fair argument, it's not like used cars don't come with drawbacks of their own, though.
In an attempt to put this new-versus-used argument to bed once and for all, Matt Farah of the The Smoking Tire has picked up a pair of $25,000 cars - a used, but lightly modified, 2003 BMW M3 and a 2013 Ford Fiesta ST. Naturally, there's a comparison.
Farah, as he's wont to do, does get into the nitty gritty of what each car is like to drive, and discusses the merits of used and new-car shopping. But as he rightly points out while testing the M3, "So, it is a good car. But like any used car, it really does depend on the individual car."

Jay Leno is far beyond driven in his 1971 Pantera

Mon, 23 Jun 2014

Perhaps it's fitting that the band Pantera is known for its heavy metal music, because the DeTomaso Pantera is the automotive equivalent of a metal album. It's short, aggressive and makes a mean sound. It doesn't mess around either, with a Ford 351-cubic-inch (5.75-liter) V8 sending mountains of torque to the rear wheels. This week, Jay Leno takes us on a detailed tour of his '71 to show why it rocks.
There's a regular format to Jay Leno's Garage. It starts with Jay and maybe a guest taking a look at the car and talking about its history, and then they take it out on the open road. However, this video is practically a Pantera buyer's guide. Jay is adamant from the start that the last thing anyone should own is a stock example. To remedy this, he and his guest, the editor of the Pantera Club magazine, take viewers to school about some of the ways to turn them into even better performance machines.
No matter what you do to it, though, the Pantera requires that the driver adapt to it, not the other way around. For example, Jay isn't a big guy by most standards, but he has to cram himself into the cockpit with his shoes off and shirt partially unbuttoned just to go for a drive. Still, once out on the road, it all makes sense with that rumbling V8 and those Italian supercar looks. Scroll down to watch and learn a lot more about this uncompromising '70s performance car.
