1990 FORD F250 PICKUP FOR SALE

THE GOOD: THIS TRUCK HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY DEPENDABLE, EVEN AFTER SITTING FOR SEVERAL MONTHS (that's why I'm selling, just don't need it) I PUT A NEW BATTERY IN IT AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP. THE HEAT BLOWS HOT AND THE AIR IS ICE COLD. THE 460 ENGINE IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND POWERFUL. THE ALTERNATOR HAS FEW MILES ON IT AS DOES THE WATER PUMP. I HAD THE TRANSMISSION REBUILT BY A FRIEND WHO OWNS A SHOP AND HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON IT REPLACING SOME BUSHING TYPE BEARING WITH ROLLERS AND USED THE TOP OF THE LINE HEAVY DUTY KIT THAT COST EXTRA. THERE IS MAYBE 12-15K MILES ON REBUILD. TIRES HAVE APPROX. 50% TREAD LEFT. IT HAS DUAL GAS TANKS AND THE SWITCH OVER VALVE WORKS BUT THE GAS GUAGE DOES NOT WORK ON ONE OF THE TANKS. IT HAS AUXILLARY DRIVING LIGHTS MOUNTED IN THE FRONT GRILL THAT COME ON WITH THE HIGH BEAMS FOR EXTENDED SIGHT AT NIGHT. 8 FOOT LONG BED, PULLS TRAILERS QUITE WELL AND HAS A BRAKE CONTROLLER. THIS WAS MY MAIN WORK TRUCK AND WAS WELL MAINTAINED.

THE BAD: I LOANED IT OUT A WHILE BACK AND WHEN IT WAS RETURNED I NOTICED IT PULLED TO THE RIGHT AND WILL NEED A FRONT END ALIGNMENT. THE DRIVER'S SEAT IS WORN, COULD USE A COVER AND PADDING. THERE IS SOME RUST AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CAB ON BOTH SIDES BUT COULD BE FIXED EASILY. I TOUCHED UP THE PAINT ON THE HOOD, IT'S NOT BAD BUT NOT READY FOR A CAR SHOW EITHER.

THE UGLY: AS I MENTIONED IT HAS RUST ON THE CAB, SOME RUST ON THE REAR BUMPER AND VARIOUS SCRATCHES. THE WINDSHIELD HAS A CRACK THAT WAS PRESENT WHEN I BOUGHT IT AND IT HASN'T CHANGED IN THE YEARS I'VE OWNED IT.

I keyed in the mileage incorrectly the first time but it is correct now. 191595 is correct.

Ford Shelby GT350R sets 7:32.19 Nurburgring lap time

Mon, Jan 26 2015

It was over a year ago that the Chevy Camaro Z/28 clocked a Nurburgring lap time of 7 minutes and 37.47 seconds, propelling itself up the leader boards as the fastest American muscle car to lap the infamous Nordschleife. But now word has it that another piece of Detroit iron has clocked an even faster time. According to Evo, the new Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang has lapped the Green Hell in a blitzkrieg 7:32.19. That's more than five seconds faster than the Z/28, and propels the GT350R into proper supercar territory: incrementally quicker than the Ferrari 458 Italia and in league with lap times posted by the Nissan GT-R (though not the fastest Godzilla has clocked over the years). With output quoted at "more than 500 horsepower and more than 400 lb-ft of torque," and no 0-60, quarter-mile or top end figures revealed to date, this marks the first genuine measure of performance we've seen for the track-focused pony car - though the numbers have yet to be officially confirmed. The GT350R packs a 5.2-liter V8 unburdened by 130 pounds of excess weight – helped along by carbon-fiber wheels coated in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber. Related Video:

2014 Ford Fusion order guide reveals new base Hybrid model, equipment changes

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

We've gotten our grubby little digits on the dealer order guide for the as-yet-unreleased 2014 Ford Fusion thanks to an anonymous tipster, and while there isn't much that's unexpected, there are some meaningful equipment changes to report after the rakish sedan's first year on the market.
Mechanically, the big news is, of course, the recently confirmed availability of the 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder paired with a six-speed automatic. The powertrain replaces the 1.6-liter automatic setup of 2013, though if you want a manual transmission, you'll still get the extra .1-liter of displacement.
On the equipment front, there are newly available rear inflatable seatbelts - as seen previously on the Explorer - along with a new heated steering wheel and cooled seat option on Titanium and Titanium Hybrid models (the latter two options will be late availability).
