Here you will see pictures of a truck that has been to many shows and turns every head that passes. it is a 2000 ford f150 that I bought a few years back and has been my work in progress, it had nothing wrong with it I just wanted to make it something of my own. its a reg cab stepside and has 2003 ford svt lightning full ground effects and front bumper, headlights, harleydavidson chrome upper and lower grill, taillights from lightning, and has rear tailgate spoiler. the hood is a steel cobra cowl induction, and the body is not perfect, it has some rock chips in bumper and nicks here and there,  there are lightning badges on fenders and tailgate and truck is real nice and loved by everyone, the suspension has belltech drop springs and 3 inch spindle kit in front and an axle flip kit in rear. the rims are 20" Harley Davidson f150 rims wrapped in 20 inch ventra tires, the interior is fully removed from a 2002 Lincoln Navigator and the seats are power and have heat and a/c in seats, it also has navigation in center console and 6 disc cd changer in console. the door panels are gray and interior in tan with leather seats, the steering wheel controls both radio and head and air functions but a/c needs to be hooked up. now for the engine it has a 5.4 32 valve DOHC engine from Navigator and auto tranny and flowmaster side exhaust. the engine has a tune on the PCM and is plenty for the truck. its definitely not something you see everyday, I am very happy with this truck and don't intend to let it go to a new owner for nothing, I have well over 20k invested into this truck and please only bid if you are a serious buyer. I can send any additional pics if needed, I drive the truck very often and its a great truck you can drive anywhere. thankyou for looking and happy bidding. if the truck sells the buyer is responsible for picking up the truck. thankyou God Bless!!! if you need to call for questions you can reach me at 931-607-8651

For everyone who is bidding, thankyou for your interest in my truck, I am just adding some info for everyone, the truck has brand new front windshield and has overhead display with mpg readout display, iv never used the gps but iv got all the navigation cds for any state in usa, the seats are headed and air cooled, it has a newly painted rear tailgate wing, the engine swap was done at a local custom shop in McMinnville, and it runs and drives great and has a lot of power for a light weight truck and all engine. this truck was built right, it has fuel pump, complete wiring harness, gauges, engine, transmission, all crosmembers, and driveshaft all swapped out and is all functional, I have put a few thousand miles on truck since the build and the MILEAGE on the truck to the dot is 120,373 I wrote it wrong in description.

New autonomous testing ground in Michigan will help battle bad weather

Thu, Dec 14 2017

If one of the big weaknesses of autonomous vehicles is their ability to navigate in the snow, consider this a trial by fire. The American Center for Mobility says it has opened its $110 million driverless car testing facility on the site of a former General Motors assembly plant in Michigan, with Toyota and auto supplier Visteon the first to begin testing this week. The ACM proving ground is a 500-acre site at historic Willow Run in Ypsilanti Township, near Ann Arbor. It's one of 10 sites designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation as pilot proving ground sites to test AV technologies. It features a variety of simulated environments to test driverless cars, including a 2.5-mile highway loop, two double overpasses, intersections, roundabouts and a 700-foot curved tunnel. It also opens just as the region experiences a series of snowstorms and the first frigid temperatures of the season. That ability to test autonomous vehicles in a wide variety of weather conditions is important, as autonomous vehicle sensors have struggled to handle cold, wet and snowy conditions. Google parent Alphabet in October said its Waymo division was expanding its winter testing operations to Michigan, making it the sixth state where it's testing its driverless car systems. In a Medium blog post, Waymo CEO John Krafcik wrote that "This type of testing will give us the opportunity to assess the way our sensors perform in wet, cold conditions. And it will also build on the advanced driving skills we've developed over the last eight years by teaching our cars how to handle things like skidding on icy, unplowed roads." Waymo also opened a development center in suburban Detroit in 2016, working with Fiat Chrysler to integrate its autonomous technology into Chrysler Pacifica hybrid minivans. Visteon began testing and validating its DriveCore autonomous driving platform to evaluate algorithms, vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure technology and other systems. Toyota used the facility Wednesday to begin orientation and driver training. ACM has so far secured $110 million to construct the first two phases from founders Ford, Hyundai America Technical Center, Toyota and Visteon, and says it expects to announce more investment soon.

Xcar gets the scoop on Ford's strategy for the GT at Le Mans in 2016

Fri, Jul 3 2015

Ford's plan to return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2016 with the latest GT might have been one of the worst kept secrets in motorsports in recently memory. Even before the road car debuted at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, rumors were flying about the Blue Oval's strategy. The wait for the official announcement just before this year's race was certainly a long one, but it was probably worthwhile just to see the competition version's spectacular looks. Xcar recently got the chance to interview Ford about the company's objectives for the new racer's development. Both the GT racing and street programs are meant as ways to advance cutting-edge technology and potentially let it trickle down to less-expensive models in the future. This is especially the case when it comes to finding ways to make carbon fiber cheaper and better. Of course, the supercar is also a showcase of what Ford can do competitively, and apparently there are patent-pending suspension parts the company isn't even talking about yet. Ford would love to score a class victory at Le Mans next year, and is pretty clear here and in its earlier promo video that it sees Ferrari as a major rival in the race. While that makes sense historically, the cross-town competitors at Corvette could be an even bigger challenger. That squad has a more recent legacy of success in the 24-hour challenge, including a victory in the GTE-Pro class this year. Related Video:
