2009 Ford F-150 XLT Extended Cab SEMA Show Truck This Ultra Low Mileage (2,200 Actual Miles) F-150 was commission by The Ford Motor Company and built by Ground Force for the 2009 SEMA Show. The PPG Liquid Silver Metallic Flat paint gives the impression the truck was cut out of pure billet aluminum. This truck was a showstopper at SEMA during its debut and has been at countless car events and shows across the country where it was a crowd pleaser everywhere. It has been featured twice at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Its aggressively styled custom front, rear and side body cladding gives this truck a nice look. KMC 24 black coated wheels wrapped in Continental Tires add to the sharp edged stance. Magnaflow Stainless Steel exhaust system gives the truck a great sound. The F-150 features a custom 2 Tone Leather and Suede interior with embroidered headrests. For a special ride, Ground Force installed a custom 2 and 4 Performance Lowering Suspension System making this truck a standout in the looks and handling department. Features include: 5.4L Flex Fuel V8, AC, Automatic Transmission, Power Windows, Power Drivers Seat, Power Adjustable Foot Pedals, Cruise Control, AM-FM CD Stereo, Front and Side Airbags, Anti-Lock Brakes, Bed Rug, Extang Evolution Rear Bed Cover, Bed Assist Tailgate Handle and Tinted Windows. There are a few small paint chips on the rear most likely from transporting and some markings on the interior sills from being on display with folks entering and exiting the vehicle. This Ford commissioned build is a 1 of 1 and with well over $75k invested, the lucky person who buys this truck will be extremely pleased. This will be a perfect daily driver truck and with a style all its own. This awesome Ford F-150 is essentially like a brand new truck and yes...it still smells new inside :) Its very rare that a SEMA Show Vehicle comes up for sale and if they do, the price tag is usually $40k - $100k. Not this one, shes affordable and in near new condition! Thanks for looking.

Entry-level F-150 now offers SuperCrew, Sport Package
Thu, 29 Aug 2013Ford has made a few notable tweaks to the lower end of its F-150 lineup, giving customers a more affordable version of the four-door SuperCrew body style. The popular SuperCrew could previously only be had on XLT models and above, but Ford has announced that 2014 F-150s with the base STX trim can get the more versatile body.
The STX SuperCrew brings the price of a four-door F-150 down from $34,525 to $33,145. Like the XLT SuperCrew, the STX will be available with the choice of a 5.5- or 6.5-foot bed, while a 5.0-liter V8 can replace the base 3.7-liter V6 for $4,425. Ford has not released pricing on the different bed lengths yet, but opting for the 6.5-foot bed on the XLT raises the price $1,240 and forces buyers into the 5.0-liter V8. We'd expect a similar arrangement on the STX.
The other big news for fans of affordable pickups is the addition of an STX Sport Package on the base-level truck. It adds 20-inch wheels, black exterior accents, black-and-gray cloth seats and decals on the truck's box. The Sport Package is available on all three of the STX's body styles, with Ford listing the price as $980 with current discounts.
MotorWeek relives '80s coupes with Dodge Daytona, Ford Escort EXP
Thu, Aug 6 2015Get ready for a wave of nostalgia and the rapid realization of the huge progress in performance cars over the last 30 years. For its latest Retro Review, MotorWeek takes a look back at two, front-wheel drive coupes from the '80s that seem to have entirely vanished from the roads today. Both the 1986 Dodge Daytona CS and the 1986.5 Ford Escort EXP were considered affordable, sporty options in their day, but the passage of time hasn't been kind to either of their specs. The Daytona certainly looks the part of a performance machine with a body that's reminiscent of other '80s coupes, like the third-gen Chevrolet Camaro. However with 146 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque from a 2.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, acceleration wasn't exactly a strong suit. MotorWeek complained about copious torque steer, as well. The optional CS suspension upgrade package on this Daytona was apparently a nod to Carroll Shelby who was working with Dodge at the time. If anything, the Escort EXP withstands the test of time even worse. As a two-seat coupe, you might have expected Ford's engineers to really turn up the performance to fit the sporty image that the exterior conveyed. That didn't really happen, and depending on which model buyers ordered, they got either 86 horsepower with a 1.9-liter engine or the "high-output" version of that mill with 108 hp.
Ford posts decade-best $2.1B profit in Q1 2013
Wed, 24 Apr 2013As predicted, Ford has reported that its first quarter of 2013 was a resounding success overall, with a pretax profit of $2.1 billion ($0.41 per share), and a net income of $1.6 billion ($0.40 per share). In fact, Ford made a pretax profit of some $2.4 billion in its home North American market, with that total number being pulled down by losses in South America and Europe. That gaudy North American profit is the strongest result by the automaker since 2000.
Ford's companywide profit for Q1 was down $147 million from one year ago, while the net income number marked an increase of $215 million year over year. Overall, this is Ford's 15th-consecutive profitable quarter.
The bad news from the European market was even worst in Q1 2013 than it was last year. Pretax losses of $462 million - on revenue of $6.7 billion - represented a year-over-year change of -$313 million. In South American, the company reported a loss of $218 million, down from a slim profit of $54 million in Q1 2012. The news was better for Ford Asia Pacific Africa, where a $6 million pretax profit in 2013 showed a year-over-year gain of some $101 million when compared to losses in 2012. Scroll down to read Ford's full press release.
