THIS TRUCK HAD A PREVIOUSLY SALVAGED TITLE BUT NOW IS A CLEAR MS TITLE. IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH OWNING/DRIVING SOMETHING THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY WRECKED THEN STOP NOW.
That said, I have for sale a 2007 Ford F-150 SuperCrew King Ranch with ~ 65,000 miles. It comes with heated seats, backup sensors, an aftermarket JVC stereo, aftermarket HID headlights, limo tint all around, and a 2" leveling kit which I got with the truck and have yet to install. The wheels are 20" factory and have 305/55R20 Nitto street tires on them with about 50-60% tread left. I also have the factory running boards but no mounting bolts. There is a short crack in the windshield down low by the windshield wiper on the passenger side; nowhere near the driver's field of vision.
The damage to the truck occurred at the middle of the front and rear passenger doors as a result of a "T-bone" type wreck. No frame damage or engine/drivetrain damage occurred. It is clear to see how far the repairs go by simply pulling back a piece of trim and some carpet or looking up underneath the cab. I have a recent Carfax report that shows what damage was reported also. Besides two or three minor issues, the truck would be like new. There is still a squeak coming from under the backseat area and the passenger window squeaks as it rolls up. The carpet also needs a good shampoo job. Otherwise the truck runs and drives like normal.
KBB retail for this truck is ~$30,500. Carfax recommends deducting $1,900 for the salavage history. My reserve is far below that because I don't have much in it. I will also consider trading for any 2007 or newer GMC or Chevrolet truck or SUV. This truck is in great shape and mechanically runs just right. I just prefer to sell it because I'm a GM person and always will be. I took this truck in trade on a GMC Sierra to give Ford a try and I liked the King Ranch interior. But that's about all I like. This is a chance to get a good, low mileage vehicle for less than its worth.

Ford Mustang, F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator recalled
Wed, Apr 27 2016The Basics: Ford will recall 201,900 examples of the 2011-2012 F-150, 2012 Expedition, 2012 Mustang, and 2012 Lincoln Navigator. The affected vehicles have the 6R80 transmission. Of the total, there are 84,000 of them in the United States and 17,900 in Canada. The Problem: The output speed sensor on the vehicle's transmission lead frame can force the gearbox to downshift into first gear. If this happens at high speed, it could cause the rear tires to slide or lock up. Injuries/Deaths: There are no reported injuries, but Ford know of three accidents related to this problem. The Fix: Dealers will update the powertrain control module software to eliminate the problem, and they'll also replace the transmission lead frame. If You Own One: Ford will begin notifying affected customers by mail on May 23. The big dune jump and the damage done
Mon, 20 May 2013The Silver Lake sand dunes see their fair share of well-built trophy trucks executing impressive jumps. Drivers build insane pieces of machinery for the express purpose of sailing through the air like mad men and women.
Mike Higgins is no stranger to the area. His heavily modified Ford trophy truck has gone flying through the sky on more than one occasion, but he recently bit off more than he could chew. After hitting a particularly lofty dune, Higgins went airborne for a ridiculous 180 feet before becoming intimately familiar with the finer points of gravity.
While Higgins nailed the jump, his landing fell short of wowing the judges. The impact very nearly broke his truck in two. Despite the mechanical mayhem, the driver walked away without a scratch, proving that occasionally miracles really do happen. You can check out the jump and the subsequent destruction below for yourself. Be warned: there's a fair bit of foul language.
