2002 Ford F 150 FX4 4X4 Awesome Truck! I have up for sale my personal Ford F150 4X4 Pickup. Four Door Crew Cab. Power everything including pedal adjustments, etc.! Truck only has 121K original mostly all highway miles. Has less than 200 miles on a set of Fuel Off-Road and BFGoodrich 285-75/R16 All-Terrain T/A KO Tires! The tires and wheels alone were just under $3,000! Truck does not have a leveling kit installed in the front because it has Always sat level since new. (I don't know why people install leveling kits in the front since my truck has always sat level.) I still have the original factory wheels that came on the truck. They will go with the truck as well. Service and maintenance is current. No Known Mechanical Problems. Maintained every 3,000-5,000 miles using genuine Ford Motorcraft parts. Truck has never towed anything, there is no brake controller or anything in the truck that insists it ever did. When a truck has a brake controller it usually means it was used to pull heavy trailers in which required extra brakes to accomodate the heavy load. As you can see the inside of the bed does not have any major dents, dings, etc. indicating this truck has never carried anything heavy. Interior cloth is in good shape with the exception of the drivers seat which does show some wear from me getting in and out over time. I think the passenger seat and rear seats have been sat in maybe two or three times in all the time I've had this truck. (They do not show any wear at all) Carpet is excellent. The truck also has a spray in bed liner installed. Exterior is in good shape. Paint is in good condition, all original, always a Florida truck, No rust or fading anywhere. It's a real good looking truck. Runs like a sewing machine with ice-cold air conditioning. Truck was ordered from Ford with the option of no pinstripe and no "FX4" or "4X4" decals because the family liked the look of the truck being all solid. I will not reveal the reserve price. Its not fair to other interested parties and bidders. In the pictures the truck does not have the tailgate on, only because I had one of those ford bed extenders on it. Auction does not include the bed extender but however I still have the oem ford tailgate off of my truck in the garage put away (pictured) that I will include. Winning bidder can arrange shipping with u-ship and have this beauty shipped to them for about 500 bucks. Airline tickets are just too expensive not to mention the price of gas even though she does great on gas both highway and city, I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. Accepted forms of payment are: bank wire transfer, cashier’s check, money order, bank check. No cash and no personal checks as I’ve had bad experiences with that. Title and bill of sale will be overnighted to winning bidder after funds are received with tracking.

Generation Z prefers Ford, wants better fuel efficiency
Mon, Mar 2 2015Fear not the future, dear green-car enthusiast. For the youngest drivers like good gas mileage. And they don't really like SUVs or trucks. Breathe easier. About 80 percent of drivers ages 16 to 21, part of what's known as 'Generation Z,' prefer cars more than any other type of larger light-duty vehicle, with about half of that group preferring compact cars, The Detroit News says, citing data company MaritzCX. That company polled about 1,100 prospective young car buyers and found them to put a priority on fuel economy because that group is... well, cheap. To put that demographic's vehicle choice into perspective, just a third of light-duty vehicles sold in the US last year were cars, while the rest were SUVs and trucks. So the future is bright, and possibly devoid of some of the smog we're now seeing. Meanwhile, Ford is the most popular brand among younger drivers, again reflecting that company's more recent emphasis on hybrids, plug-ins and high-fuel-economy gas-burning engines. Ford's US green car sales fell 1.4 percent last year to about 86,500 units (falling C-Max Hybrid demand pulled the American automaker's numbers down), so we'd think that this is very welcome news for the Blue Oval. Plethora of 2015 Ford F-150 customs runs the gamut at SEMA
Wed, 05 Nov 2014
Of Ford's customized trucks, two feature the name of famous Ford racers.
Of all the OEMs making appearances at the 2014 SEMA show, Ford owns arguably the most significant group of vehicles, thanks to its new 2015 F-150 and Mustang. While you can look for our Mustang coverage soon, we've managed to sneak out and get snaps of some of a few of the F-150s on display at the company's sprawling, 20,000-square-foot display (look for even more aftermarket F-150 goodness in the coming days).
Lincoln Aviator could make a comeback
Tue, Jun 9 2015The idea of Lincoln dropping its alphanumeric scheme in favor of real names was welcomed by fans of the marque and even appeared possible after the rousing reception to the Continental concept. Now, rumors suggest that the next of the luxury brand's nameplates to see a possible revival just might be the Aviator. Don't get your hopes up quite yet, though. The Truth About Cars admits that this tip comes from a second-hand source, but the person reports that Lincoln has a project codenamed Aviator as a model based on the Explorer. There's evidence to give the rumor some shaky support, though. Ford already has the trademarks for the name and AV8R. Also, an Explorer-based vehicle in 2019 is included for the brand's predictions in the recent Car Wars forecast. Autoblog reached out to company spokesperson Sam Locricchio, but he would not speculate about future products. The same source claims to The Truth About Cars that the Blue Oval might not replace the Ford Flex or Lincoln MKT when the current generations come to an end. Also, the next-gen Expedition and Navigator could use 10-speed automatics and follow the F-150 to get aluminum bodies, which is also already rumored. Although, all of this should be taken with a big grain of salt until anything more official has arrived. Lincoln spokesperson Stephane Cesareo gave The Truth About Cars no comment on the rumor, but said, "By 2020, we expect to expand the segments that we participate in by adding two new nameplates to the Lincoln brand. We have not provided any indications about the products or their names." Related Video:
