1978 Ford F150 short bed regular cab. This truck is in very good shape, lots of work done to it. 4 speed manual shift. 416cu in engine. Ford Duraspark Electronic Ignition. 33x12.5 tires. I purchased the truck about 5 yrs ago with the body work complete on it. My father and I then assembled all the mechanical parts during the restoration. This has been a project truck for me and my father over the last few years, I then drove the truck for 2 years before taking it off the road because I bought another truck. Full professional rebuilt engine, was a 1966 FE 410 engine before rebuild. Custom Comp cam, edelbrock intake, holly carb. New clutch, rebuilt tranny and transfer case, new driveshaft, new brakes and lines, interior redone through LMC catalog, bumpers from LMC, new radiator, new brake booster and master cylinder, new starter, new ball joints and tie rods, new steering gear and power steering pump, new windshield, new hubs, new steering linkage, new headers, new steering stabilizer and shocks, true dual stainless exhaust with delta 40 series Flowmaster mufflers (sounds great!!!!), etc. Paperwork for all parts, and absolutely no corners were cut when they were installed. We initially never planned to sell the truck so everything was installed correctly with care. Many more new parts than listed. Over $16000 into it and the proof is in the paperwork that will go with truck. Ford 9in rear. 350 gears. Lots of power, very well taken care of. Frame and body are in great shape! Frame is painted. Body is very straight. Less than 11,100 mi on all the new parts, some parts less than 5000mi. Cab states 126,193 mi, but the cab was from another truck. Only one outstanding issue is the front Dana 44 ring gear is missing some teeth. It had a chipped tooth when we got it, and running the 4wd at times made it worse. We just don't have the time to fix it right now. Truck is very fun to drive and turns many heads! Buyer will be resposible for shipping and/or pickup. Call 570 412 5371 with any questions.

Wards names its 2015 10 Best Interiors list
Fri, Apr 17 2015Wards Automotive has named the winners of its 10 Best Interior awards, covering a wide but affordable array of vehicles. Where last year's list contained two six-figure vehicles, including the $372,800 Rolls-Royce Wraith, this year's is, well, a whole lot more reasonable. The publication lists the Mercedes-Benz C400 at $65,000 (which seems off), making it the most expensive vehicle here. That said, we'd argue that the entire C-Class line deserves to make this year's list, owing to its varied and high-quality selection of materials. The other vehicle to break the $60,000 mark, meanwhile, is the $60,675 Ford F-150 King Ranch, which has 327,000 pounds of leather lining its interior. Only one other German car, the BMW i3, and one other pickup truck, the GMC Canyon, managed to make this year's list. Here's the full list of this year's winners: 2014 BMW i3 ($52,550) 2015 Chrysler 300C Platinum ($51,175) 2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch ($60,675) 2015 GMC Canyon SLT ($40,465) 2015 Honda Fit EX-L ($21,590) 2015 Jeep Renegade Limited ($33,205) 2015 Kia Sedona SXL ($43,295) 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring ($33,395) 2015 Mercedes C400 ($65,000) 2015 Nissan Murano SL ($41,905) See what we mean about the mainstream vehicles? Not only is there a distinct lack of luxury brands, it's the price of some of the vehicles that surprise. The Honda Fit, Jeep Renegade and Mazda6 are very reasonably priced, especially when you compare Wards price with the starting price. The Renegade Limited starts at less than $25,000, the Mazda at less than $22K and the Fit at under $16,000. Head over to Wards for a more detailed explanation of why each vehicle won. 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 vs. 2019 Ram 1500 vs. 2018 Ford F-150: How they compare
Mon, Jan 15 2018The full-size pickup truck market is seriously hot right now. Both Ram and Chevrolet have introduced completely redesigned trucks, the 2019 Ram 1500 and the 2019 Chevy Silverado, and as the companies slowly roll each one out, more and more information comes to light. We've put together this comparison post to help you keep track of all the features and specifications of each of these new models, along with the updated 2018 Ford F-150. Among the stats we'll take a look at are engines, power, fuel economy, trim levels, weight and more. Weight savings Both the 2019 Ram 1500 and 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 have gone on a diet for the new model year, similar to the one the F-150 went on in 2015. The Silverado is the weight-loss leader, having shed 450 pounds when comparing quad-cab V8 models. The Ram 1500 lost 225 pounds compared to the current truck. Both trucks achieve their weight loss in part due to the use of aluminum parts. On the Silverado, the hood, doors, and tailgate are aluminum, while on the Ram, just the hood and tailgate are aluminum on the body. Compare that to the F-150, which uses aluminum for all exterior body panels for a total weight loss of up to 732 pounds, which makes the aluminum-intensive F-150 the weight-loss leader. View 160 Photos Engines and transmissions There's only a bit of overlap in powertrains on the Ram 1500 and Chevy Silverado. Each has a V8 for the top engine. The Ram's is a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 making 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The Silverado will once again use a 6.2-liter V8 as its range topper with the same 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque as the current model. Both of these V8s boast some extra fuel saving technology. The Chevy's 6.2-liter (and some 5.3-liters) comes with the company's latest cylinder deactivation system that can shut off any or nearly all of the eight cylinders. The Ram's V8 boasts an optional 48-volt mild-hybrid system that, in addition to likely helping fuel economy, can provide up to 130 pound-feet of torque right off the line. With the Ram, fuel economy sees an improvement of 2 mpg in the city and combined ratings for 17 and 19 respectively. Highway fuel economy improves by 1 mpg to 23 with two-wheel drive and 22 with four-wheel drive. The Silverado's 6.2-liter V8 only improves city fuel economy by 1 mpg to 16, and actually loses 1 mpg on the highway. The new 5.3-liter engine with the fancy cylinder deactivation does see an improvement over the simpler version.
