: Dc Audio 18" (6,000 Watts) ::: Spl ::: on 2040-cars
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
I am moving to New York in May and don't want to take my truck. It is a 2004 Ford F150 FX4 Super Crew. It has the 5.4L V8 and has just over 176,000 miles.
Both the driver and passenger front doors are fiberglassed, each with 4 Selenium 6"s and 1 TW67 Super Tweeter. The DC Level 6" is in a massive 6.5 Cube box that is fiberglassed, braced, and bolted into the truck, It does 146db - 148db on music, I don't burp it and the subwoofer is rated for 5,000+ watts rms I currently only give it 3,500. Upgrades: -260 Amp Mechman Alternator ($450) -400 Amp Singer Alternator ($700) -DC Power Dual Alternator Bracket ($530) -XS Battery under the hood and XS D3100 in the back seat ($700) -DC Audio 3.5K ($700) -DC Audio Level 6 18" with Carbon Fiber Dust Cap ($850) -Hifonics 2,000 Watt 4 Channel amp ($300) -8 Selenium 6" Mids ($320) -2 TW67 SuperTweeters ($130) -Pioneer in-dash receiver w/ GPS -Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.2 Processor ($550) -Custom leather seats - Black w/ Green Leather - ($650) -Hard roller tonneau bed cover ($650) The upgrades just in cost are $6,500, and the install was $3,000 including all of the fiberglass and upholstery work. Blue Book Fair/Good has this price between $10,000 and $11,500. This will be my last time listing the truck as I am starting to get offers off-line locally and the new price reflects that. Note: The previous auction was won by a scammer. I will not deal outside of Ebay or transfer money for you. If you can not complete the transaction within the terms of Ebay please do not bid. I will only ship to approved addresses in Paypal and will require delivery receipt if you arrange shipping. I would prefer to deal locally! |

A tribute to William Clay Ford
Tue, 11 Mar 2014The passing of William Clay Ford has been a big event for the company he spent most of his life helping run. Ford spent 57 years working for his family's company. Considering the Blue Oval has been around for over 100 years, WCF's passing is the end of an era for the Dearborn-based manufacturer.
Ford's YouTube channel has issued a short memorial video highlighting the life of the longest-lived grandson of company founder Henry Ford. It follows William Clay from his time as a boy, showing him alongside his grandfather, through his younger years, and into his twilight, as the patriarch of the Ford family.
Take a look below for this touching memorial video on William Clay Ford.
UK auto magazine says this is the best car commercial of all time [w/videos]
Thu, 20 Dec 2012There have been many great car commercials over the years, but is it possible to define the best? Well, Ad Week recently took a crack at it by rating the top commercials of the year by looking at their view counts on YouTube, but Auto Express took a more democratic approach by putting the decision to a vote. Just after Thanksgiving, Auto Express came up with a list of the 20 popular commercials, and it tasked its readers with choosing the winner for the best car ad of all time. The winner? Honda's 2003 commercial for its then-new European Accord titled "The Cog."
While the ad never aired in the US, most car people have surely seen the impressive Rube Goldberg-style spot. In fact, the only commercial on this list that we saw on US television was the Volkswagen ad "The Force," but many of the others have become viral videos, including transforming and dancing Citroën C4. Of the 19 other commercials that vied for the title of best ad of all time, only the Ford Puma "Steve McQueen" commercial gave Honda a run for its advertising money.
Scroll down to watch Auto Express' top five commercial in order and to check out a press release, then let us know some of your favorite car commercials in Comments.
