The truck is show quality but has minor chips.

The tires are 7.50 wide and 21.50 wide Mickey Thompson's mounted on 15 x 7 and 15 x 15 Pro Stars. The wheels and steering wheel are billet. The frame is a 2 x 3 inch rectangular tubing frame built by A&A Custom body; the sub-frame is from a midsize GM passenger car and has a large bearing Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.50:1 gears. The housing and 31 spline axles have been narrowed to 45 inches to make room for the 15 x 15  Pro Star rims. A four link from chassis and Aldan coil-cover shocks are located in the rear end. The truck has disk brakes- is a modified Vintage friends pedal activating a selection of Mustang II components. The engine is a 406 ci big block Chevy with a blown motor on top; the parts include: a forged GM crank, "pink" rods, TRW forged turbo pistons and a crane blower cam. Two 600 cfm Holleys feed a Weiand 6-71 blower. A Malloy electronic ignition with an MSD Blaster II coil ignites the fuel mixture. The heads are late model GM 76cc units that have been ported and polished. The valve covers, engine pulleys and air cleaner are polished units from, street and performance. Stevens Automotive prepped a turbo 350 tranny by installing a B & M shift kit and a 2200 rpm torque converter. A Gennie shifter handles the gear changing chores. The truck is also equipped with re-chromed bumpers, door handles and trim and tinted windows. And has a GM tilt steering column; the dash was smoothed and re-drilled and has an Am/Fm cassette player; many of the controls were hidden. The paint is raspberry acrylic urethane. The interior is gray with red trim and was done by Gary's Upholstery.

Shelby American cleans house of 14 concept cars

Typically when an automaker rolls out a concept car or pre-production prototype, it does its tour and then disappears into the company's archives. Maybe it will be displayed for the public to see in the company's own museum or maybe it will spend most of its time under covers in a warehouse somewhere, but every once in a while, an automaker will open up its history and start selling off its concept cars. For Shelby American, "once in a while" has just rolled around.
The House that Carroll Built is moving from its previous headquarters at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to a new facility off of the Las Vegas strip, and in the process is liquidating fourteen of the rarest cars in its collection. That presents a tremendous opportunity for muscle car collectors to bring one or more of these snakes home.
As you might expect, the catalog is composed mostly of Mustangs, but not exclusively. There's a pair of 289 Cobras: the last of the 50th anniversary slab-sided continuation cars and an original development vehicle, offered at $200,000 apiece. At the other end of the spectrum you'll find the 2013 Shelby Raptor concept for $125k and Focus concept for $50k. And of course there are the Mustangs.

Calendar years and fiscal years tend to be the only timetables automakers concern themselves with, but that doesn't mean there isn't recognition of other measures of time. Ford has opted to observe the Chinese zodiac, largely because the Year of the Horse ended just last week. That's fortuitous timing, considering the first Ford Mustangs were making their way towards the People's Republic as celebrations were carrying on. To recognize this fact, and the end of the Year of the Horse, Ford recruited drift king Vaughn Gittin, Jr., to take a 2015 Mustang GT to the streets of Ordos City, in north-central China. It's not as dramatic as some of Ford's recent videos, like the one starring Ken Block and the Ford Focus RS, but it's pretty cool all the same. Take a look.
