This pickup is a true survivor barn find with a fresh candy apple red paint job!! 58,000 actual miles and drives absolutely beautiful! It has new aluminized dual exhaust with pro plus mufflers (quiet), freshly rebuilt bench seat (foam,springs, ect), factory supplied 390 v8 with rebuilt motorcraft 2 bbl carb, new glass rubbers, new window fuzzies, new cowl seal, new marker lenses, new tail lights, new fuel cap, new tires. We just got this truck rolled out of our body shop, cut and buffed to a mirror shine. Original rims and hub caps have been blasted and recoated to correct color along with hand painted lettering on caps. I left original paint inside the bed to show the extremely clean pickup we had to start with. The undercarriage has been completely detailed. Absolutely rust free!! I'm 33 and didnt have the opportunity to drive a brand new 1973 (new body style) ford pickup, but I can imagine what it was like when I drive this one. This truck drives and handles as smooth as a car and with the 390, there is plenty of power to hook on to your trailer and take it along! Ex-PR chief Vines accuses Ford of bugging cars, phones

Jason Vines, former head of communications at Ford among other automakers, is accusing the Blue Oval of bugging his company phone and his car during the Firestone tire recall for the Explorer in 2001. The allegations have come to light in Vines' upcoming book What Did Jesus Drive? Crisis PR in Cars, Computers and Christianity.
According to The Detroit News, which has an advance copy of the book, Vines (pictured above) claims that after leaving the company, someone with security within Ford advised him that he had been bugged around the time of the recall. The allegations don't stop there, though. Vines further contends that he might not have been the only one to get this treatment, noting that then-general counsel John Rintamaki also believed he was being listened to.
According to The Detroit News, even if it had been a company phone, recording Vines without his knowledge still would have been a felony under Michigan law.

Ford Everest Concept shows China also has an affinity for big trucks

The Ford Everest Concept SUV at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show shows the future of the Blue Oval's truck line in China. While a concept for now, we're told that JMC, Ford's Chinese joint-venture partner, will build a production version sometime in the near future.
With design from Ford's Asia Pacific design team, the handsome seven-passenger SUV shows off some very muscular styling with wraparound headlights that hook into the contours of the angular trapezoidal grille. The beltline rises up the body in the rear and makes the back appear higher than the front. The rear is made from hard, chiseled contours that give the truck a very tough look. The Everest looks ready for some rough roads.
Ford is keeping the interior and mechanical details about the Everest a secret for now, but the SUV is rumored to share some components with the overseas Ranger pickup. The company has no plans to sell the truck in North America. Scroll down to read the official announcement, including the few details on its production.
