Nice daily driver or easy restoration. Runs, drives, and stops well. Drive it home. Less than 1000 miles on rebuilt 390 with stock bore and crank. Edelbrock Performer 390 aluminum intake and breather. Holley 4 barrel carb. New starter, solenoid, and alternator. Heads reworked when engine was done. Headers with new true duals, sounds great. Electric fuel pump. MSD coil. C6 auto trans with shift kit new less than 2 years ago with B & M floor shifter. Nice interior with later model bench seat. Aftermarket headliner with 4 built in speakers. Dash is original, not cut up. Front disc brakes, not power, drum rear. Front tires nearly new, rear tires nearly gone. Nice aluminum rims. Bed floor is a sheet of plywood with a rubber mat-I do not have the original bed strips or a tailgate. All glass is good and windows roll up and down easily. Dash gauges come and go. All lights and wipers work. No horn. Heater hoses disconnected by previous owner- not sure why. Frame, floors, and cab are all very solid with no rust. Small areas of rust through on passenger door and both front fenders have been patched with bondo. Only other rust through is on passenger inner front fender under battery. Included in sale is a factory power brake booster, power steering pump and factory under dash AC setup with all wiring and cable-no under hood AC parts. About the only thing this truck needs is new rubber around doors and around door glass, no leaks though.

Here's what it's like to drive the very first Ford Mustang cop car
Thu, Jan 29 2015As we recently discovered, there's something different about driving a police car. That's true whether you're talking about a modern Dodge Charger Pursuit or, yes, the legendary Ford Mustang SSP. Former Autoblog staffer and current Road and Track web editor Zach Bowman discovered this when he shanghaied a 2015 Mustang GT and made the trip to Nashville, TN to drive the very first Mustang SSP police car. The two-tone, V8-powered prototype was delivered into the welcoming arms of the California Highway Patrol back in 1981 for evaluation. Bowman chatted up cop-car aficionado Mike Strinich, the prototype's current owner, and managed to score some seat time in the car, which provided a unique interesting contrast to the SSP's 435-horsepower junior. Head over to R&T for the complete read.

Lego provides one of the cheapest ways to own a Bugatti Chiron
Tue, Jan 3 2017Just over a month ago, we got a look at one of the latest Lego Speed Champions sets when Ford revealed the GT and GT40 kit. Now we get to see the rest of the lineup, and it's chock full of F1 and supercar goodness. The official Lego images show that the Bugatti Chiron, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Ferrari FXX K, and F1 cars from Ferrari and Mercedes all made the cut. Each set gets some unique features and most include interchangeable wheel covers. The Chiron comes with some tiny cones suitable for desk slaloms and the Mercedes-AMG GT3 gets an alternate nose. The FXX K comes has the most impressive selection of accessories, though, as it includes a dyno and engine run stand. The F1 sets are divided similarly, but with Mercedes getting more extras. The Brick Fan also reports that the Mercedes kit may be exclusive to select stores. The Ferrari kit only comes with a starting light, but the Mercedes set includes a garage, starting lights, and winner's circle. It'll be up to you whether you put Hamilton or Rosberg in that winner's circle. According to The Brick Fan, these kits are set for release in winter 2017. Since the Ford GT set has a release of March 1, we expect the rest will hit stores in the next couple of months. They're sure to be great additions to anyone's existing Lego garage.
