This is a 1965 Ford F-100 truck with a new 351 Cleveland V8 engine, (less than 500 miles on it). It is a beautiful truck that runs strong. The Transmission was replaced with a C4automatic using the original 3 on the tree lever. There is no neutral safety switch. New drum brakes, good original manual steering, 5 new tires, steel wheels and battery. The truck has been newly painted using 1960's era Volkswagon Dove Grey (blue grey in appearance) with an off white top using 2000 Mini Cooper Off White. Interior used the same paint. The seat is original and needs bottom redone, back is very good condition, original rubber floor mats, interior is lined with sound proofing matting to deaden road noise. Headliner is new, the fibre board grey type. No interior dome light, space for one in rear of headliner. All new African hardwood bed lumber and new painted steel runners. All new stainless steel fasteners. This is a great truck but not to be confused with a "restored" vehicle. Everything was done right but this was not a frame up restoration. There are some things still to be done and are listed in this description. To my knowledge it has never been in an accident and all of the body parts are rust free and original. I was told that it lived its life as a yard truck at a lumber company in So. Cal but I have no record of that. The speedometer says 29500 but was not working when I bought the truck and still not.. It originally had a 6 cylinder three speed manual transmission. The gentleman I bought it from had the new 351 Cleveland and C4 in his shop and I had him install them along with new radiator, carburetor, stainless exhaust, brakes, distributor ignition wires and plugs. The heater inside the cab just went out so is disconnected from engine with plugs in the supply water hoses. The turn indicators all work as do the wipers. The truck needs a passenger-side wiper arm and a rear left brake light cover. (may have in time for sale but currently do not have). There is a hole for an antenae but there is no radio so some previous owner must have had radio in glove box, (latch is loose so that's my guess why). The only dent is pictured on back of cab where lumber was rested, (dropped" is my guess by a previous owner.

Autoblog's June 2019 Editors' Picks
Wed, Jul 10 2019Each year we review, test and rate hundreds of brand-new cars, trucks and SUVs. We rate these vehicles using the Autoblog score, giving a select few our Editors’ Pick. Here are the best cars we drove in June 2019. 2019 BMW 8 Series Everyone on the Autoblog staff loves a good grand tourer, so we were excited to get behind the wheel of the revived BMW 8 Series, specifically an M850i Coupe. A good GT needs to be as fast as it is stylish and comfortable, and the new 8 Series delivers. We particularly like the 523-horsepower twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8Â’s copious power and smooth ride quality, even on MichiganÂ’s pockmarked post-winter roads. We dig the interior design, too, though not everyone was in love with the exterior. ItÂ’s not the best-handling car in its class, and doesnÂ’t hide its sizable proportions very well, but itÂ’s still worth a look if youÂ’re looking for a big, fast cruiser. 2019 Ford Expedition Crossovers may be the hottest vehicles on the market, but thereÂ’s still a sizable demand for traditional body-on-frame SUVs like the Ford Expedition. These behemoths offer plenty of space in addition to truck-like capability. We like the Expedition's smooth ride, powerful twin-turbo V6 and sharp exterior design, though the interior can feel a bit cheap, especially on some of the more expensive trims. Adding options quickly puts it into Lincoln Navigator territory, and itÂ’s hard to recommend the Ford over the Lincoln when the latter packs the same capability into a far nicer package. Still, the Expedition is as good or better than the competition in most respects, and thatÂ’s why itÂ’s one of our picks. 2019 Toyota 86 Few cars at any price point are as much fun as the Toyota 86 (and its twin, the Subaru BRZ). We like the 86Â’s balanced chassis and sharp steering, and while itÂ’s not as nimble as its close rival the Mazda MX-5 Miata, the ToyotaÂ’s back seat and trunk make it a more usable vehicle. But while we like the 86Â’s driving position, the rest of the interior feels cheap and dated, especially the infotainment system. We complained about the anemic powertrain back in 2012, and itÂ’s only gotten worse as the years have gone by.
2019 Chicago Auto Show photo gallery: All of the grilles
Fri, Feb 8 2019Do you like trucks? How about grilles? Like really big, shiny, chromey, in-your-face, could-be-made-by-Broil-King grilles? Well, the Chicago Auto Show is the place to be. Traditionally known as the truck show of the annual auto show circuit (at least those covered by national media), Chicago has what seems like a small national park's worth of acreage devoted to both consumer and commercial trucks. From humble extended cab Ford Rangers to a mammoth F-650 with cherry picker sprouting from its aft quarters, there's bound to be a truck for everything. And they all have grilles. So above is our gallery devoted to them, because hell, why not? Should you want to know about the trucks attached to those grilles, check out our coverage below. Ford sticking with manuals for RS models
Wed, Feb 4 2015Traditional stick-shift gearboxes may be losing ground quickly to dual-clutch transmissions, but Ford knows what hot hatch enthusiasts want. That's why it's sticking with manual transmissions on its RS models for the foreseeable future. The Blue Oval automaker caught our attention yesterday when it revealed the new Focus RS, packing an upgraded version of the turbo four from the Mustang, a trick new all-wheel-drive system and an old-school six-speed manual. After speaking to Ford's product chief Raj Nair at the hot hatch's launch, Autocar reports that the six-speed is here to stay. "All our current research says that customers really like these kinds of cars to have a manual gearbox," Nair told the British publication. "We'll keep looking at market trends, and of course we'll give customers what they want, but for now the manual stays." Autocar further suggests that the same principle will apply to any further Rallye Sport models, so if and when a Fiesta RS rolls around, it's likely it will stick with a stick as well. Although the less potent Focus ST is offered in diesel and wagon forms overseas, wherever it's sold and in whatever form, the six-speed stays a constant in that model as well, just as it does in the smaller Fiesta ST. That doesn't mean that other Ford Performance models won't go without a clutch pedal, though. The new GT employs a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the new F-150 Raptor channels its muscle through a ten-speed automatic. But as far as Ford's hot hatches go, it looks like the manual will remain alive and well.
