For sale at NO RESERVE is a 1964 Ford F100 custom cab short wheel base pickup truck. This truck is 100% original. I purchased this truck from the original owners son who was not interested in the truck anymore. Has a 292 V8 with three speed on the column. Since I have owned the truck I rebuilt the carburetor, bleed all brakes, replaced coil and got all of the lights working with new bulbs etc... This truck have very minimal rust. CAB MOUNTS ARE SOLID! Very small rust spot in front of hood, few dime size holes in the bed, cab corners are solid, bottoms of fenders and doors are solid, roof does not have any dents, passenger side inner fender has rust where battery tray is (this is the worst rust this truck has). All lights work, including turn signals and bright switch on floor. All glass is great with no cracks, blower works in cab (heater hoses are not connected), wiper switch does not work. I have only driven this truck down the street a few times. This truck is being sold with a bill of sale only! Uber hopes facilities in Detroit will help shape its autonomous future

Hot off the heels of unleashing its fleet of self-driving vehicles in Pittsburgh, PA, Uber announced plans to open a new facility in the Detroit, MI area, reports Automotive News. The new facility was announced at an event hosted by Society of Automotive Engineers in Detroit, MI. Uber's vice president of global vehicle programs Sherif Marakby revealed the news, reports Automotive News. The facility is meant to help the ride-sharing company collaborate with suppliers and automakers in the area. There's no word on where Uber will build the new facility or how big it will be, as those factors have yet to be determined. Just like Pittsburgh, PA, Detroit, MI could become another testing ground for the ride-sharing company. The latest move to open a facility in the Detroit area comes after Uber offered users in Pittsburgh the chance to ride in one of its autonomous vehicle as it looks to gain vital real-world testing. Uber is utilizing a fleet of modified Ford Fusions. Earlier this year in April, the automaker announced a partnership with Google, Lyft, Uber, and Volvo to develop autonomous cars. A new facility in Detroit would strengthen the partnership and help Uber, as well as Ford put autonomous vehicles on the road faster. Ford gets its Movement on, releases 'Sounds of Focus' tracks

Ford has, for at least the second year in a row, teamed up with techno promoter Paxahau and a couple of artists to make music in recognition of the Detroit Movement music festival. This time, Movement performers Ataxia and Secrets were selected by Ford, and were invited to spend some time at the automaker's Michigan Assembly Plant, which gives birth to the Ford Focus and Focus Electric models.
Now that we know the what, how about the why? According to Ford, "Detroit is uniquely tied to the origins of the electronic music scene. In the 1980's variations of electronic music stemmed from inspirations of industry, including the automotive sector." So, there you go.
