this is a 1962 ford truck. it has a rebuilt 351 Windsor small block. it has been bored .60 over. it has flat top pistons. it has a 290 crane cam. the heads have been shaved and a three angle valve job with big valves. it has a edelbrock  performer 4 barrel intake with a edelbrock 600 4 barrel carb. it has a c4 auto transmission with a shift kit. the motor has about a 1,000 miles on it.  it has headers with 3 inch exhaust with two stage flowmasters. it has the original straight axle frontend. it has been rebuilt.  the rearend has been rebuilt. it has a 3.00 gear in it. it needs a better gear. it has a 12 gallon fuel cell in the rear of the bed. it has the original drum brakes with a single stage brake cylinder. the brakes are descent but it needs  a two stage brake cylinder for better stopping power. it has good tires. it has new shocks, rear shocks are air. all the lights work on it.  it has a lokar auto shifter in the floor. it has a new radiator, electric fan, new battery. it a new windshield , new floormat. the paint is descent but it does have a few small places that is bubbling up where they filled in a body line on the rear of the bed. the inside of the bed was sprayed with bed liner but needs to be redone. it had a bed cover on it but I took it off. the grille is in good shape. it needs a front bumper. the speedo doesn't work. the interior needs a headliner. the seat is good. the  steering has a little play in it but you can drive the truck . it was being set up for drag racing and that is what I got it for but I don't have the time to fool with it and I hate to see it sit there and go down so I am wanting to sell it. with a little more work it could be a nice truck. it has a steel rollpan on the rear.

Ford S-Max Concept previews new look, technology for Euro seven-seater

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Ford unveiled today the S-Max Concept, which comes with a new, sleek look and loaded with innovative technology, such as a heart-rate monitoring seat. But if you're heart is set on a minivan sports activity vehicle (SAV) and you live in the States, don't wait for this one - it's a Europe-only product, and we don't expect that to change when the next-gen S-Max is released.
The styling follows Ford's global design language, looking a bit like an overgrown Focus hatchback with the company's signature grille, wraparound headlamps, steeply raked windshield and curved roof line. Ford also implemented details to make the S-Max look longer and faster, such as a feature line on each side of the vehicle and muscular-looking fenders. The engine isn't Ford's most powerful, but the new 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine should be potent enough with turbocharging and other efficiency related technologies.
Ford says the new interior, which seats up to seven people, features high-quality materials and fine detailing, such as an "ultra-soft" leather wrap for the instrument panel and leather and carbon-fiber details on the seats. Ford's Sync connectivity system with MyFord Touch makes the car a wireless hotspot, and there's a tablet docking station for second-row occupants.

2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Your Mileage May Vary
As difficult as it is to write this, I was actually excited about the 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid. With the beautiful looks of the newest midsize fighter from Ford and a fuel economy estimate capable of shaming even the stalwart Camry Hybrid, the battery-augmented four-door seemed like a recipe for unabashed success. But appearances love nothing more than swapping our boundless enthusiasm for cold platters of disappointment. The 2013 Fusion Hybrid gets hobbled right out of the gate with a lofty price tag, and real-world driving keeps the sedan from even approaching those EPA figures.
With so many excellent midsize hybrids on the market, is there any reason to consider the newest Fusion Hybrid? Are sharp aesthetics, a well-executed interior and capable driving dynamics enough to overcome the machine's shortfalls? Not from where I'm standing.
