1959 FORD F100

Short bed, 2wd, 223ci 6cly, three on the tree.

All stock except the seat.

Runs and drives well,

I used it as a daily driver last summer.

All works (most of the time) except wipers.

Was special orders with no options by my wife's, aunts, father-in-law.

Has been in the family since new.

It has many new parts.

It is a lot of fun to drive

the only reason I am looking at selling it is that I have a big family and we cant all fit in it.

It would make a fun rat rod, shop truck just lower it and there you go.

It spent most of its life in Vallejo, Ca and HAS rust in the bed, doors, and cab but that ads to the patina.

I have video at the links below.

If you have any questions email me and I will do my best to answer them.

I have it for sale locally and reserve the right end auction early do to local sale.

I am also interested in trades for something that I can put my whole family in, 1972 or older or possibly jeep cj/wrangler, first generation bronco, fj40.

Let me know.

Please don't ask what the reserve is just bid the amount that you want to spend and if it doesn't sell we can talk or you can make me an offer.

Thanks

Ford surges with record 2Q profit

Tue, Jul 28 2015

We already knew that the second quarter of 2015 has been good to General Motors. For Ford, though, it's been even better. The Blue Oval saw a net income of $1.9 billion, $800 million more than its larger cross-town rival. Pre-tax profits were even more impressive, at $2.9B. Those figures aren't only more impressive than what GM could conjure up, they improved handily over the same period in 2014. Net profits were up by $574 million, or a staggering 44 percent, while pre-tax profits saw a 10-percent bump over 2014. Ford Credit also had a strong quarter, raking in just over half a billion dollars before taxes. So yeah, Ford calling Q2 "outstanding" in its press release is no exaggeration. The vast majority of Ford's positive Q2 can be attributed to the North American market, which made up $2.6 billion of the company's pre-tax profits. South America, the Middle East, and Europe were all down, although Asia delivered some relief, making $192 million before taxes. Scroll down for the official press brief from Ford. Ford F-150 pulls semi truck through snow-clogged Chicago streets

Wed, Feb 4 2015

Earlier this week, the Midwest was crippled by a massive snowstorm that dumped a foot or more of powder in some areas. The result was, of course, transportation gridlock. It's a fortunate thing for this stranded semi-truck driver, then, that a Ford F-150 EcoBoost stumbled upon him. Despite a tow rating of just over 11,000 pounds, the four-wheel-drive, turbocharged pickup managed to dislodge the big rig from a snow-covered street. Of course, the Ford didn't get the semi moving all on its own – watch the video towards the end and the semi was quite clearly spinning its rear tires. Still, it's an impressive feat that we've little doubt F-Series fans are celebrating. Related video:

William Clay Ford Sr. dead at 88

Sun, 09 Mar 2014

William Clay Ford, retired vice chairman of Ford Motor Company and the last surviving grandchild of company founder Henry Ford, died this morning after a bout with pneumonia. He was 88.
Ford spent 57 years with his grandfather's company, joining the board of directors in 1948 before graduating from college. Ford also held a position as chairman of the design committee, as well as the chairman of the executive committee and vice chairman of the Board of Directors during his tenure with the company. In a 2013 Detroit Free Press story, retired CFO Allan Gilmour said Ford had an eye for design, and was once able to pick out when a fiberglass model of a Ford Contour was asymmetrical, off by an inch on one side. He retired and assumed the position of director emeritus in 2005.
"My father was a great business leader and humanitarian who dedicated his life to the company and the community," said Bill Ford, Jr., Ford's current executive chairman. "He also was a wonderful family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, yet he will continue to inspire us all."
