Highland, California, United States
Proudly listing my friends 1956 Ford F100 big window original V-8 truck. This truck runs and drives like a brand-new truck you do not hear any form of abnormal noises no pulling of any sort drive straight on the highway. This truck was fully restored 5 years ago from frame off restore to factory specifications. All wiring was replaced All bushings were replaced. Undercarriage was fully restored. There's no rust in this truck . This truck was restored to be driven not to be a trailer queen. The full restoration costed over $27,000. Body lines On the truck are better than the Ford factory sent out. The truck does have Few nicks on the paint here and there from being used. Also the front and rear windshield weatherstripping is showing a little deterioration does not leak whatsoever. I was told it's a easy fix. Now as for the interior of the truck it's very straight and clean all lights in the instrument work All windows operate as they should and do not leak No funny smells. As for the drive-line it has a Ford 9 inch rear end. The engine is 272 Ford rebuilt to perfect factory specifications. Minus the Holley carburetor. The three speed transmission. The rims on the truck are cragers. This truck equipped with the custom cab There's only 6200 big window 56 Ford F100 trucks Ever built And there were over 134,000 regular ford f100 made in 1956. The 1956 Ford F100 is one off year only truck. Very rare And this one being restored to the specifications I truly believe it will only go up in value as time passes. Exceptionally rare '65 Ford GT40 Roadster prototype up for auction
Sat, 14 Jun 2014Think of mid-engined supercars and your mind is bound to gravitate towards Europe, but the United States has been known to make a handful from time to time - exceptional vehicles from the likes of Vector, SSC, Mosler, Hennessey, and Saleen. But long before any of those came around, Ford famously became obsessed with beating Ferrari at its own game, leading to the development of the iconic GT40.
The story is well known, sending Ford to the checkered flag at Le Mans four times in a row in the late 1960s. Ford and Shelby also built over 100 for public consumption, but just four of them were roadsters. Of those only one remains in original condition, and now that exceedingly rare example going up for auction.
Consigned to RM Auctions for its mid-August sale during Pebble Beach weekend in Monterey, California, this 1965 model is the first GT40 Roadster built. It was used as a development and demonstration vehicle for Ford and Shelby. Carroll Shelby himself drove Henry Ford II in this very car during one of many test and demo events, this time held for Ford's board of directors in Los Angeles.
Ford S-Max Concept previews new look, technology for Euro seven-seater
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Ford unveiled today the S-Max Concept, which comes with a new, sleek look and loaded with innovative technology, such as a heart-rate monitoring seat. But if you're heart is set on a minivan sports activity vehicle (SAV) and you live in the States, don't wait for this one - it's a Europe-only product, and we don't expect that to change when the next-gen S-Max is released.
The styling follows Ford's global design language, looking a bit like an overgrown Focus hatchback with the company's signature grille, wraparound headlamps, steeply raked windshield and curved roof line. Ford also implemented details to make the S-Max look longer and faster, such as a feature line on each side of the vehicle and muscular-looking fenders. The engine isn't Ford's most powerful, but the new 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine should be potent enough with turbocharging and other efficiency related technologies.
Ford says the new interior, which seats up to seven people, features high-quality materials and fine detailing, such as an "ultra-soft" leather wrap for the instrument panel and leather and carbon-fiber details on the seats. Ford's Sync connectivity system with MyFord Touch makes the car a wireless hotspot, and there's a tablet docking station for second-row occupants.
New Ford GT to carry $400k-price tag
Thu, Mar 5 2015The last time Ford made a GT, it built more than 4,000 of them and sold each one for around $150,000. Judging by the premiums at which they later traded, they were evidently worth a lot more than that. But this time, the new Ford GT will be far more expensive and far more scarce. Official performance, production and pricing figures have yet to be released, but upon the new American supercar's European debut in Geneva, Ford performance chief Dave Pericak indicated it would be priced competitively with the Lamborghini Aventador – which carries a base sticker price approaching $400,000, Car and Driver reported. Combine that with production expected to number in the hundreds, not the thousands, and you're not likely to be seeing any of these Blue Oval halo cars in your neighborhood anytime soon. The question then becomes: will the price tag will be justified? With carbon-fiber construction and more than 600 horsepower on tap, it very well could be. And if speculators are going to drive up the actual sale prices, we don't see why Ford shouldn't get what the product is worth. But whether the world is ready for a $400,0000-Ford is another question entirely. Related Video:
