Here is a really Nice Rock Solid So. California pickup Truck. Father and Son started to restore this truck and another project took president.

1955 Ford F-100 Shortbed with Stock Ford Y Block 272 v8 engine and 3 speed on the tree. Runs and shifts well. . Braking system was rebuilt with Power unit and front Disc Brakes.

Steering is Stock with new springs and shocks.

Tires are BF Goodrich that are almost new. Biggies and Littles. Chrome Wheels with baby moon caps.

Body in very nice condition with Solid Floors, Doors, Cab Corners, Roof Rails, Running Boards, and Mounts. Paint has some patina. Could spend a few bucks on a new paint job or drive it just the ways it is. I like it.

Interior Very Clean with Bench Seat and new Carpet Kit. Uncut Dash, New Windshield..

Not much else to say. I did not build this truck but I can get you answers. Sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. Actual Mileage unknown.

License Current with Clear Clean California Title. Frame VIN Matches Title makes it much easier for you guys out of country to import.

Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?

Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.

Pickup sales may hit 2M units for first time since 2007

Even as fuel prices creep back up, trucks are still a hot item among new-vehicle shoppers. To see how popular pickup trucks still are, you don't have to look any further than how much effort automakers put into the continual one-upmanship of their trucks. Backing this fact up, USA Today is reporting that the segment could top two million sales this year - a total not matched since 2007, though still far from the pre-recession, three-million-unit levels.
Through August, the Ford F-Series continues to be the segment leader with almost 500,000 units sold, but the Chevy Silverado (328,269), Ram 1500 (234,642), GMC Sierra (122,232) and Toyota Tacoma (110,293) are all seeing at least 20-percent sales increases, helping to account for around 1.44 million truck sales so far this year - not including possible outliers like the Suzuki Equator and Chevy Avalanche.
This year alone, General Motors has completely redesigned its fullsize trucks, Ram and Toyota have significantly updated their offerings, the next-gen Ford F-150 will be out next year and Nissan is promising an all-new Titan around the same time with an eventual Cummins diesel under the hood. It would seem, then, that truck sales are poised to continue their upward trend.
