This is a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT V6 with Control Trac 4WD, optional tow package and Anti-Lock brakes.

I have owned this Explorer for 5 years and it has yet to let me down. When I purchased this vehicle it had a bad engine and transmission. I had the transmission rebuilt and a used engine (57,000 miles old) installed. At the time the Explorer had around 148000 miles on it. It has since had new wheel bearings, all four shocks, ball joints, tie rod ends, rear shackles and brakes installed new. I again replaced the front brake pads just a couple months ago. The interior is clean with no rips or tears. It has tires that are all season and less than a half year old. The battery is also new replaced last year. The only major thing wrong with it is that it has only heat, sorry no AC.

This would make a great winter vehicle since it handles great in the snow. It is a reliable car and has been my daily driver for a long time. It also has a very good smooth ride for its age, you will have to drive it to believe me.

The Ford F-150 received yet another new model for the 2013 model year, the Limited trim, bringing the ways you can order this country's most popular vehicle to a grand total of 10. There really is an F-150 to suit any need now, and the Limited variant slots in at the very top of the range, above the already pampering Platinum model.
While normally I would admit that I'm the least-appropriate person to test a pickup, the fact that this particular trim places a much higher premium on luxury than anything with a bed and Blue Oval badge before it means that I don't need the workman chops of a skilled tradesman to judge how well this truck meets its true aim.

2015 Ford Mustang to offer solid-rear axle, sort of

One of the biggest knocks against the last Ford Mustang was its solid-rear axle. Not one to actively court criticism, Ford dutifully swapped out the old-fashioned rear end for something a bit more modern in the redesigned 2015 Mustang, adding an independent rear suspension across the board.
While an IRS Mustang is great news for those that value handling and ride comfort, there's one big group that it's bad news for - drag racers. See, a solid-rear axle is a big deal for drag racers, because not only is it more durable and cheaper, but it's better for the hard launches that can make or break a race.
To satiate this vocal demographic, Ford will sell a body-in-white version of the Stang, complete with a nine-inch rear axle, that will debut at the 2014 Performance Racing Industry show. The news came from gas2.org, which cited an unnamed employee of Ford Racing at this year's PRI show.
