For your consideration. Ford 1996 Explorer XLT V8 AWD. Always a southern vehicle, never seen road salt. Needs some engine work. Transmission shifts smooth. The vehicle will start and run, but overheats and runs rough. I never took it in to a mechanic, so I have no idea what could be the problem. Take a close look at the pictures. The battery is from 2008, so it might need one soon. This will sell AS-IS and I have disclosed all the know defects with this vehicle. It ran strong and dependable until last week. This SUV had good power and sounded great with Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system. Great buy for a mechanic.
ATTENTION - YOU CAN START THE ENGINE AND RUN IT - BUT WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OR TRANSPORTED.
The Exterior >> Tires good. New brake pads and rotors front and rear. New radiator. Body fair condition with no rust out. Custom aluminum billet grill. Aluminum alloy wheels. Drivers side tail light assembly broken, but have new in box replacement (see pictures) that will include with the vehicle. Drivers side electric window does not work. Small scratches and dings normal for year. A few small paint spots peeling, but overall the body is solid and looks good. Magnaflow cat-back exhaust that sounds good. Has Trailer Hitch, but I never towed with it.
Interior >> Leather seats. Drivers seat has rips and has a cover on it. Has been smoked in before and has a few burn marks. All gauges work, but the odometer was broken when I purchased 2 year ago. Odometer stuck on 158000 (mileage is unknown). Air conditioning worked last summer, but it needs a charge now to get colder.
I have a clear Georgia Title. Winning bidder will need to pay in full within 7 days. Deposit PayPal only. Arrangements to transport or tow the vehicle will be done by the buyer, but I will coordinate with your arrangements as best I can. 2016 Ford Mustang getting California Special treatment
Fri, May 8 2015The sixth-generation Mustang hasn't even been around for a full year, but Ford is already prepping a couple of tweaks for 2016. We've now learned that there will be a California Special version, and if that name sounds familiar, it's because Ford has a long history of doing the GT/CS treatment on its 'Stangs. We don't have anything to go on right now, save the image you see here. But previous California Special versions were limited to things like new wheels, spoilers, badges, and some paint options, so we aren't expecting anything too drastic. It's also unclear if Ford will offer the new GT/CS on both the coupe and convertible, or if it'll just stick to the hardtop. We'll get the full details on Monday, May 11 – that's when Ford will reveal everything it's done for the 2016 Mustang lineup. Stay tuned.

Ford Escort is ready to focus on the Chinese market
Mon, 21 Apr 2014Ford officially revived the Escort name in China, showing of the new, four-door compact at the Beijing Motor Show. Painted in a stylish brown-bronze, the new sedan wears a number of global Ford styling cues while sharing its platform with the Ford Focus.
Power for the new model comes from a 1.5-liter four-cylinder, although Ford doesn't specify just how much power is on offer, simply saying that the fuel economy of the new mill will be "outstanding." It's unclear what transmission will be distributing the engine's power, although based on the images we've seen, the Escort will definitely offer a two-pedal setup.
The layout of the cabin is fairly clean, although as we mentioned in our initial post on the new Escort, it's a decidedly sparser environment than we've grown use to in US-spec Fords of late. If anything, it's like a weird blend of current Ford switchgear with an overall look that reminds us of older Ford layouts. Still, it looks like a comfortable way of moving five people about without too much fuss. There's ample space both front and rear, and a rather spacious trunk.
