Ford E150 Van with RV Conversion kit: Drives Great, No Leaks, Cold AC, Starts Every Time.
This van is in great condition. A few minor scrapes on running boards. Otherwise, normal wear. We drive this van once a week. It starts every time, has cold AC, stereo, power locks & windows & driver seat, cruise control, front seats are captains chairs. It has been regularly maintained and has new tires.
This van has an RV conversion kit from DMC. The features include: trailer hitch, exterior electric hookup, extra battery (rechargeable) for most RV features when camping with no electric hookup, window shades that pull down, a curtain to block out the front windows when camping. Additionally, the interior of this van has custom cabin lighting, cabinets that host a working sink with pump and water bladders, a working microwave oven, a working refrigerator, an electrical AC plug/receptacle, DC plugins (like car charger plugs for cellphones, DC voltage devices), it has a working toilet (removable), storage, a bench seat that folds out to a bed, pop-up tables/posts, and more.
Note: when camping, the electric hookup is required to run the microwave, and interior electrical plug/receptacle. However, the fridge, sink, lights, and DC plugins will run on the RV battery without electric hookup (on a charged battery). The toilet requires no electric.
Four new Bridgestone Insignia SE200 Extra Load Tires. New RV Battery, and new Engine Battery.
This van drives great. No leaks. We were using it for art shows. We no longer go to shows outside our area, and therefore, no longer have a need for this van. Call 321-609-1749 or use "contact seller" on this page.

Ford ST Octane Academy [w/video]
Wed, 04 Jun 2014
The ST school is about more than just handbrake turns, hot laps, and sliding into parking spaces.
I felt like such a rock star. On my second pass around the UrbanCross course (read: fancy autocross) at the Ford ST Octane Academy, I absolutely nailed the exit, sliding the bright-yellow Focus ST sideways into a box the size of a parking space, all four wheels in line.
Verizon buys Telogis in connected vehicle market push
Wed, Jun 22 2016(Note/disclaimer: We are owned by Verizon, by way of AOL. This gives us no inside track whatsoever when it comes to news.) With a lot of tech companies and automakers staking their claims in the connected car space, now there are signs that others are looking to move in, too. Today, telecoms giant Verizon announced that it is acquiring Telogis, a California-based company that develops cloud-based solutions for mobile workforces, and specifically telematics, compliance and navigation software used by Ford, Volvo, GM and other car companies, as well as Apple and AT&T. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, although we'll try to find out. Considering that Verizon in 2015 reported full-year revenues of $131.6 billion, the price would have to be very high to be considered "material" and may not be made public for some time, if ever. Telogis in its time as a startup raised a substantial amount of money, just over $126 million in all, including $93 million in 2013, supposedly ahead of an IPO, all from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Back in 2013 when KPCB made its investment (which was the first from a VC firm in the company), Telogis told TechCrunch it was profitable and forecasting revenues of $100 million annually for the year. It's not clear what size those revenues are now, but if it was on the same growth trajectory as before the funding, sales would be around $150 million annually, with profitability, at the moment. Other investors include some very notable strategics: the investment arm of General Motors, and Fontinalis Partners, which also invests in Lyft and was co-founded by Bill Ford, the executive chairman of the Ford Motor Company. Before the acquisition, Verizon actually had a business in fleet management and telematics; in fact, the two companies competed against each other for business from the trucking and other industries. Verizon Telematics, as the business is called, is active in 40 countries. But in a way, Verizon buying Telogis is a sign that the latter may have proved to be the more superior, and the one with the key customer deals.
Ford Explorer Jackson Pollock Edition results in trip to hospital
Tue, 02 Jul 2013Among the many useful pieces of driving advice we've taken to heart over the years, "Safely secure all cargo" is etched pretty high on our personal stone tablets. We've had a couple of frustrating moments over the years (numerous wonky cupholders and too-tall lidded cups; a radar detector that released its suction cups and dashed itself below the dashboard, etc.), but never anything like the scene above.
These photos above come courtesy of the Washington State Patrol, and they show the unfortunate aftermath of a driver, his dog, and his Ford Explorer after it crashed near the town of Belfair last week. According to reports, the man was schlepping five-gallon containers of paint inside his vehicle when he was involved in an unexplained accident. It's not clear what triggered the crash, but the impromptu abstract painting covered the whole of the interior, including the driver and his faithful companion.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, and his dog was cleaned and later taken to a humane society.
