I am the third owner of this van. The first owner is who had the factory authorized Quigley 4X4 conversion installed. It was my understanding that he primarily used the van to take his family and pull a pontoon boat to the lake. The second owner was appearntly a close friend of the original owner as he seemed to know everything about its history. He had a remodleing buisness and used the van to haul his crew. I was encouraged to use only Delvac motor oil as that was all that had ever been used. In fact when I got the van it came with those materials for the next service because he had already purchased them because the next service was neer due. The amount of knowage and paperwork made me confident that this was the right Quigley for me. I have spent about $10,500 cosmetically to get this the way I want it. Including complete paint, mickey thompson tires and wheels, running boards, limo tint on all rear glass and a dvd/cd/navigation in dash unit. There are 4 captains chairs and a rear bench and still about four feet of room for gear. The 2 rear captain chairs and the rear bench come out with the pull of a lever. This has the 7.3 powerstrke diesel, this engine is legendary for its long life especially when truely taken care of. It is common for these engines to get 400,000 to 500,000 miles on them. This E350 has 132,000 on it. Like the previous two owners this is my pride and joy and recieves compliments about everywhere I take it. You just dont see many 4X4 diesel vans, especially ones that look like this. Unfortunatly I cant afford to have everything at once and I have my eye on a new toy. Please contact me with any questions. I am including some pictures before I had it painted so you can see that there was no rust. 330-465-4147 Jason

2022 GMC Hummer EV No. 001 at Barrett-Jackson brings $2.5 million
Mon, Mar 29 2021This year's Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., played host to a bunch of the first examples of hot new cars: VIN No. 001 of the 2022 GMC Hummer EV, 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and CT4-V Blackwing, 2021 Ford Bronco, 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and 2021 Ram 1500 TRX. Every single one of them sold for more than six figures, with all the proceeds of nearly $5 million going to charities, but the big winner was absolutely the Hummer with a hammer price of $2.5 million. The Bronco did nicely, too, with a selling price of $1,075,000. You can see the list of the sale prices from highest to lowest of these first examples below. GMC Hummer EV: $2,500,000 Ford Bronco: $1,075,000 Ford Mustang Mach 1: $500,000 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition: $410,000 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing: $265,000 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing: $165,000 Despite the Hummer going for $2.5 million, it wasn't the most expensive car to cross the block. That honor goes to a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake that was once owned by Carroll Shelby himself. It sold for $5.5 million, the same price it sold for back in 2007. Nearly as pricey as the Hummer was a restored, numbers-matching 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 that went for $2,475,000. Related video:
2017 will be the year the connected car becomes a reality
Fri, Jan 13 20172016 was full of talk of autonomy, but little action beyond crazy, futuristic concept cars and announcement after announcement from automakers. If this year's CES is any indication, 2017 is going to focused on connectivity. More than that, CES showed that traditional barriers between automakers are breaking down in favor of universal and open source technology standards that will benefit both consumers and developers. CES, traditionally a showcase for the latest and greatest technology and gadgets like flat-screen refrigerators or televisions that broadcast in the fifth dimension, has become so intwined with the auto industry that we at Autoblog cover it like any other auto show. At every CES event I attended and nearly every booth I went to, there was some talk, display, or demonstration of how cars will connect to your phone and your home, and eventually each other. It seems we're heading toward the tech singularity where all devices work under one cohesive ecosystem – the Internet of Things, if you like. The difference between autonomy and connectivity is how real the latter feels because so much of the connected tech on display at CES is either here already or will be here by the end of the year. There were dozens of demos, both big and small, that allowed us to test and explore what's on the horizon. Bridging the gap between home and car, Ford is integrating the Amazon Alexa personal assistant straight into its vehicles. That means you'll be able to talk to Alexa in your car just like you would through an Echo or Dot at home. It also means you can shop on Amazon by voice while you're driving (since that wasn't convenient enough already). Samsung is developing smartwatch applications for Ford, BMW, and others. Toyota is adopting Ford's SmartDeviceLink smartphone connectivity system for its vehicles. That means developers can have one app that works across multiple infotainment systems. The Linux Foundation is developing an open-source operating system that will be free to use, making it easier for developers to connect smartphones and apps across multiple manufacturers' systems. Automotive Grade Linux, or AGL, is available for download right now. Major automakers like Toyota and Daimler (who usually are set on competing with one another) are partnering to further the development of the project. Bosch, Hyundai, and Chrysler showed connected car concepts at CES that preview the future of automobiles.
