Up for sale is my 2000 ford econoline e-350. Truck has 119K miles and runs like a champ. The Tranny shifts nice and smooth with no issues. Truck has new rims and tires and the running boards are about 1yr old. AC blows nice and cold but I believe the switch needs to be replaced because it only blows through the Window/defogger vents. **Easy Fix**. Also needs the rear cargo door cable which is about $60 on ebay or even cheaper at a junk yard. *Easy Fix*. Brakes work great but should be serviced soon since they are squealing some when decelerating from about 50mph.
I installed a viper alarm and remote start which still works and I put in door actuators for the front doors.
Truck also has divider from cargo with a pass through door and bins and shelves. Great for an electrician or cable/satellite guy.
Interior is clean. Title in hand and ready to go. Please arrange transportation and shipping of the truck. If you need assistance I will help out in any way I can. Please note that this van is also available locally and walk-ups always have first dibs. Auction could end early!!

Ford acquires Livio to bolster connectivity biz
Thu, 26 Sep 2013Ford Motor Company has announced the acquisition of Livio, a Ferndale, MI-based software development company best known for aftermarket in-car connectivity devices, but also as a supplier of technology for proprietary systems for automakers. Livio, co-founded by Sigal and Massimo Baldini, will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Global Technologies.
"With the additional expertise Livio provides us, Ford intends to continue to lead the next generation of in-car connectivity with technology advancements that give consumers more options to access their devices on the go," said Paul Mascarenas, chief technical officer and vice president, Ford Research and Innovation, in a statement.
Ford is clearly trying to beef up its in-house tech capability around telematics and device connectivity. While the Blue Oval has been a leader in these areas with SYNC and MyFord Touch in terms of getting the systems into as many cars as possible, the execution of the applications have been criticized for glitches.
William Clay Ford Sr. dead at 88
Sun, 09 Mar 2014William Clay Ford, retired vice chairman of Ford Motor Company and the last surviving grandchild of company founder Henry Ford, died this morning after a bout with pneumonia. He was 88.
Ford spent 57 years with his grandfather's company, joining the board of directors in 1948 before graduating from college. Ford also held a position as chairman of the design committee, as well as the chairman of the executive committee and vice chairman of the Board of Directors during his tenure with the company. In a 2013 Detroit Free Press story, retired CFO Allan Gilmour said Ford had an eye for design, and was once able to pick out when a fiberglass model of a Ford Contour was asymmetrical, off by an inch on one side. He retired and assumed the position of director emeritus in 2005.
"My father was a great business leader and humanitarian who dedicated his life to the company and the community," said Bill Ford, Jr., Ford's current executive chairman. "He also was a wonderful family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, yet he will continue to inspire us all."
