I purchased this Van about 2 years ago with 57k miles on it. It is a rare option van because its a 3/4 TON suspension with a 4.2litre V6 engine that has plenty of power. I have maintained the van very well since ownership. Heres a list of what ive done.
Alternator, Radiator, Left Upper Ball joint, Transmission service with new filter and gasket, rotated tires several times, several oil changes, 6 new spark plugs, 1 vacuum line, 2 transmission cooler lines and 1 engine belt.
The van does not leak a drop of oil!
I took pictures of 3 things that bother me and I would like to be honest with the new owner of this VAN.
I bought new door hinge pin for drivers door but have not installed it yet. I will include the parts with the van. Has typical loose drivers side door hinge play.
Theres some minor roof rust near the rear doors which I have noted in the photos and ive been attacking slowly with sealers and what not when i had some left in a jar or something from a job i was doing.
I havent aligned the front end since I purchased the Van 2+ years ago and has a little shimy at high speeds like 70mph+.
This van runs and drives like new. If you need a reliable work truck with very low miles and knowing "where" you purchased it from this ones for you. It comes with aluminum running boards, 8 lug alloy rims, brushguard with working grill lights, I installed a 1000watt amp under driver seat and I have 12 inch sub in back of van, I also installed 250+ decibal Kahlenberg airhorns that I run off a scuba tank w/regulator behind drivers seat. I also notice the rear bumber is attached directly to the FRAME from the factory so towing is never an issue.
I can remove before pickup of vehicle.
Please feel free to ask me a question at 954 FIVE SIX TWO 1177 with any questions. I have title with van located in zip code 32958 FL.
I own two other vehicles and its decided that this one goes. A new baby girl to the family has forced transportation changes so dont miss out on this clean van.

IIHS says these are the safest cars of 2013
Wed, 02 Jan 2013The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has revealed its annual list of Top Safety Picks, an award that highlights automobiles it says offer "superior crash protection." A new and still more significant award, the Top Safety Pick+ honor, is given to those vehicles that earn good ratings for occupant protection in four out of five areas of measure. And while some 117 vehicles were given the TSP seal of approval for 2013, just 13 passed muster for TSP+.
To be fair, IIHS only evaluated 29 vehicles with its new testing procedures for TSP+ (we'd expect that the number of qualified cars will rise substantially for 2014). Luxury and Near Luxury midsize cars were the first groups evaluated, followed by midsizers in the Moderately Priced Cars category - unsurprisingly, it's only midsize cars that you'll find among the class this year.
Only two luxury sedans made the list of 13 for 2013: the Acura TL and Volvo S60. The other 11 cars on the list included entries from domestic, Japanese and German car makers: Dodge Avenger, Chrysler 200, Ford Fusion, Honda Accord (sedan and coupe), Kia Optima (but not its close kin, the Hyundai Sonata, strangely), Nissan Altima, Subaru Legacy and Outback, Suzuki Kizashi and the Volkswagen Passat all made the grade.
Ford Sync 3 launches this summer on 2016 Escape, Fiesta [w/video]
Tue, Jun 2 2015The days of MyFord Touch are nearly over. Ford unveiled its brand-new Sync 3 infotainment system late last year, and has now announced that the first vehicles to receive this tech will be the 2016 Escape and Fiesta, this summer. The big improvements for Sync 3 include faster response time, better voice command integration, more logical controls, and a more intuitive interface. Those were all the key complaints of MyFord Touch – especially the response-time issue. Furthermore, future Sync 3 updates can be downloaded via WiFi. Sync 3 ditches the Microsoft-sourced software that powered MyFord Touch. Instead, Ford uses the Blackberry-owned QNX system. Ford will update its full range of vehicles in the near future, with complete integration by the end of the 2016 calendar year. Lincoln will get this tech, too, but with a slightly different look. Have a look at Sync 3 in the video below, and scroll down for Ford's official press blast. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. For EV drivers, realities may dampen the electric elation
Mon, Feb 20 2023The Atlantic, a decades-old monthly journal well-regarded for its intelligent essays on international news, American politics and cultural happenings, recently turned its attention to the car world. A piece that ran in The Atlantic in October examined the excesses of the GMC Hummer EV for compromising safety. And now in its latest edition, the magazine ran a compelling story about the challenges of driving an electric vehicle and how those experiences “mythologize the car as the great equalizer.” Titled “The Inconvenient Truth About Electric Vehicles,” the story addresses the economics of EVs, the stresses related to range anxiety, the social effects of owning an electric car — as in, affording one — and the overarching need for places to recharge that car. Basically, author Andrew Moseman says that EV life isn't so rosy: “On the eve of the long-promised electric-vehicle revolution, the myth is due for an update. Americans who take the plunge and buy their first EV will find a lot to love Â… they may also find that electric-vehicle ownership upends notions about driving, cost, and freedom, including how much car your money can buy. "No one spends an extra $5,000 to get a bigger gas tank in a Honda Civic, but with an EV, economic status is suddenly more connected to how much of the world you get to see — and how stressed out or annoyed youÂ’ll feel along the way.” Moseman charts how a basic Ford F-150 Lightning electric truck might start at $55,000, but an extended-range battery, which stretches the distance on a charge from 230 miles to 320, “raises the cost to at least $80,000. The trend holds true with all-electric brands such as Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid, and for many electric offerings from legacy automakers. The bigger battery option can add a four- or five-figure bump to an already accelerating sticker price.” As for the charging issue, the author details his anxiety driving a Telsa in Death Valley, with no charging stations in sight. “For those who never leave the comfort of the city, these concerns sound negligible," he says. "But so many of us want our cars to do everything, go everywhere, ferry us to the boundless life we imagine (or the one weÂ’re promised in car commercials),” he writes. His conclusions may raise some hackles among those of us who value automotive independence — not to mention fun — over practicalities.
