1998 Ford Econoline Mark III Conversion Van Hightop

This van has only 85,000 miles since new. The last owner had a handicap list he took out but never installed in another vehicle.
The Engine is the very fuel economical 4.6 Liter V8 engine. The engine runs very strong!
The transmission shifts excellent, fluid looks great.
Vehicle is loaded with power windows, power locks that all work. The A/C blows cold. There is a power folding bed in the back that also works.
Cruise control works, tilt wheel, Stereo works great. The TV works, the mood lights all work.
Suspension is excellent
Tires and brakes are very good

We took it on a few trips and its been a very reliable van.
Its very good on gas too, if you are easy on her on the highway, she gets 20 mpg (the original window sticker says 14/19)
My uncle had this vehicle with the handicap lift in it, he had the lift removed and was going to put the lift in another van but it would not fit.

If you are interested in having the handicap lift installed in this let me know. I am sure he can easily get it put it back in. We are selling the van AS YOU SEE IT, with no lift.

The only thing i can see the car needs is maybe a tie rod, on higher speeds the wheel does not respond as i think it should, so if you are going on a long drive i would have that checked out. I had the car inspected by a 2 mechanics 6 months ago and one gave it a bill of good health, the other said i need a tie rod down the road sometime so i bought one that has not been installed yet i will throw in with the van.

It should have all the original books and paperwork when new in the center console. Oh yeah the plastic lever on the console/glove box is loose and the inside side door plastic is cracked because the handicap lift sometimes bumped into it when lowering the lift.
Non smoking owner.

I HAVE TITLE IN HAND WITH NO LIENS READY TO GO TO THE NEXT OWNER. IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS LET ME KNOW. TERMS OF SALE: I HAVE TO HEAR FROM YOU OR AT LEAST GET A DEPOSIT IN 24 HOURS FROM THE SALE. I NEED A GOOD PHONE AND EMAIL ADDRESS FOR THE BUYER. BALANCE IS DUE IN 7 DAYS. YOU CAN PICK UP WITHIN 21 DAYS. $125 DOC FEE APPLIES TO ALL SALES.

Ford tells Congress it collects and protects some driver data

Fri, 14 Feb 2014

Last month Ford's Jim Farley made waves at the CES when it was reported he told show attendees, "We have GPS in your car, so we know what you're doing. By the way, we don't supply that data to anyone." Farley and Ford later partially retracted and clarified that statement.
Spurred by a desire for further transparency on data collection policies, Ford representatives answered questions from Congress, specifically Senator Al Franken (D-Minn.), about driver privacy.
The Detroit News reports that Ford told Congress it does collect some vehicle location data in an effort to "troubleshoot and improve our products" on behalf of the driver. Ford went on to say that it only collects limited data after receiving permission from owners.

What an Atlas-based Ford F-150 might look like

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

Just ahead of January's Detroit Auto Show, surprising rumors pegged Ford as revealing some sort of F-150 concept, perhaps as a hurried effort to deflate some of the buzz building around General Motors' new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, which were also making their auto show debut. Those rumblings turned out to be true, as Ford rolled into the Motor City with its Atlas concept (inset, right), touting the truck's bold styling as a precursor to the next-generation F-Series.
The show truck featured all kinds of clever details, including active wheel shutters and a front air dam that raised and lowered to improve aerodynamics while preserving off-road ability. It also had a genuinely snarly face. And it's that pugnacious snout that may well be on its way to production. The good folks at TopSpeed have worked up the plausible-looking artist's rendering above by cross-referencing the Atlas concept with what little has been revealed from recent spy shots. The look is toned-down pretty dramatically from the concept truck, but its Atlas roots are clear, with a massive three-bar grille and bracket-shaped headlamps hiding a next-generation EcoBoost engine. In the rendering, the show truck's deeply contoured hood and roofline have been ditched and larger, more traditional side mirrors have been fitted - all likely concessions in the move to production sheetmetal.
While Ford has yet to officially announce when it will unveil the 2015 F-150, all signs point to next year's Detroit Auto Show - one year after the Atlas shrugged off GM's new pickups.
