2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor Sedan 4-door With Lights & Sirens on 2040-cars
Peotone, Illinois, United States
|
Up for sale is this 2008 Ford Police Interceptor with only 63,967 miles on it. This is a super clean vehicle that is already set up with a lot of extras. We are a local Ford dealership based out of Peotone, IL. We took in a total of 3 units in trade from a local municipality. Please check out our other auctions if you are looking for more than one vehicle. The lights and sirens are fully functional on this vehicle. I took the pictures with the lights on so that it was easier to see their placement. With the flash patterns it is impossible to photograph with everything lit up. This vehicle is equipped with Federal Signal First and Third Generation LEDs. The siren is made by Smart Sirens. The prisoner transport is made by Pro-Guard. The vehicle is equipped with a Charge Guard system. This system cuts power to the components an hour after the ignition is turned off. In the trunk of the vehicle is a Safety Vision camera system. We do not know if it is already wired and was taken out but there is a camera, monitor, and other miscellaneous pieces in the trunk.
If you have specific questions on the vehicle, please contact Denis Corradino directly at 815-531-7520 or send me a message through eBay. If you would like to come see the vehicle in person, we are located in Peotone, IL. We are Terry's Ford. If you are planning on coming out, please make an appointment to ensure the vehicle is here since it is also for sale locally and being shown to local municipalities. Because this vehicle is set up with lights and sirens, the vehicle is not for sale to the general public. You must have proper credentials to buy this vehicle. |

Ford GT inspires objects for Milan furniture show [w/videos]
Tue, Apr 14 2015Can't get enough of the lines on the new Ford GT? Then Milan is the place to be this month. That's where Ford will be presenting a series of objects whose designs were penned by the same talents behind (and inspired by) the company's new supercar. Set to be presented at the Salone del Mobile furniture show in the Italian metropolis, the collection ranges from tables, chairs and light fixtures to a sailboat, foosball table and electric guitar. "We have an incredible amount of talent in our global design studios," said Ford's chief designer Moray Callum. "Salone del Mobile is the perfect forum to share some of that creativity, while also offering our designers an opportunity to get exposure to new ideas that will inspire future Ford design." In addition to these seemingly random objects, Ford has also partnered with architect Attilio Stocchi to create a special light exhibition entitled "Favillia, Every Light a Voice," similarly inspired by the new GT. But if your plans won't be taking you to Milan anytime soon, you can check them out in the images above and the videos and press release below. This content is hosted by a third party. Exceptionally rare '65 Ford GT40 Roadster prototype up for auction
Sat, 14 Jun 2014Think of mid-engined supercars and your mind is bound to gravitate towards Europe, but the United States has been known to make a handful from time to time - exceptional vehicles from the likes of Vector, SSC, Mosler, Hennessey, and Saleen. But long before any of those came around, Ford famously became obsessed with beating Ferrari at its own game, leading to the development of the iconic GT40.
The story is well known, sending Ford to the checkered flag at Le Mans four times in a row in the late 1960s. Ford and Shelby also built over 100 for public consumption, but just four of them were roadsters. Of those only one remains in original condition, and now that exceedingly rare example going up for auction.
Consigned to RM Auctions for its mid-August sale during Pebble Beach weekend in Monterey, California, this 1965 model is the first GT40 Roadster built. It was used as a development and demonstration vehicle for Ford and Shelby. Carroll Shelby himself drove Henry Ford II in this very car during one of many test and demo events, this time held for Ford's board of directors in Los Angeles.
Ken Block shows us around his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax
Thu, Jan 22 2015From his Fiesta HFHV to his '65 Mustang Hoonicorn, the inimitable Ken Block has some awesome machinery at his disposal. But arguably the coolest of the bunch is the RaptorTrax. Based on the previous-gen Ford F-150 SVT Raptor - the one with the steel frame and V8 engine - Block's back country snowmobile on steroids packs a set of tracks at each corner, a full roll cage, equipment rack, lighting, jump seats, survival gear... everything he could need for a trip off road. The Gymkhana master showcased the beast a couple of months ago on the slopes of Baldface in Nelson, BC, but now he's followed up with a less eye-popping but more informative clip in which he shows us everything his RaptorTrax has to offer.
