Hello, You are looking at a very well maintained 2008 Crown Vic.  This car was used by our Constable office for Transports and Bench Warrant service and the mileage is at 134,600.   The exterior paint of the vehicle is in very good shape with minimal scratches and a couple of dings but nothing major  ( as shown in the pics ).  This car is very tight and straight. The inside of this vic is in very good shape with no rips or tears in the seats.  All options work as they should, ( Air , Heat , Power Windows , Power Door Locks , TRACTION  CONTROL. ) This car has been on a regular maintenance schedule due to the nature of our work.  We have our own mechanic that does maintain our vehicles because we cannot afford any costly repairs or breakdowns in our field of work. If any of our vehicles needs something, it is fixed on the spot.  We run full synthetic oil in all of our cars and change the transmission fluid every 20,000 to 25,000 miles. The brakes stop you on a dime , the transmission shifts properly as it should, and all other components work properly as they should. Mechanically this car needs nothing at all, just jump in and go.

There are extras that go with the car (as follows )
THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO RED AND BLUE LIGHTS ON THIS VEHICLE

                               1.  Galls Street Thunder Siren Control Box w/ Speaker  ( Disconnected per Ebay rules )

                               2.  Setina Prisoner Partition

                               3. Pro Copper Shotgun Mount ( Electronically hooked up )

                               4. Sho Me switch box

5.Pro Copper Console with removable armrest for extra storage

                               6. Galls 4 corner strobe system w/ clear strobes  ( Disconnected per Ebay rules )

                               7. Wig Wags wired into the headlights w/ clear bulbs ( Disconnected per Ebay rules )

                               8. LED Grill Lights w/ Amber  Lenses ( Disconnected per Ebay rules

                               9. Setina Push Bar mounted on the front

                              10. 3 way cigarette lighter plug mounted on the side of console (Operable )

(There are approximately $2000.00 of extras that go with this vehicle for the next buyer

I need to mention a couple of things that i want everyone to know about this car because i do not believe in hiding anything from anyone. ( This does not affect the performance of the vehicle, just a knit picking issue)                There are no warning lights on the dash ( check engine etc,) The only lights that are on the dash are the low tire warning light, and the battery light.  Our mechanic checked out the battery light and said that the system is charging as it should and the battery was in good condition.  The battery dummy light on the dash he said could be a sensor that is bad.   As for the low air tire light on the dash, the spare is in use (comes with no spare tire, ) due to one of our officers bending a rim at the jail doing a transport.   Our mechanic called Ford and they explained to him that the low air light monitors all 5 tires, not 4 including the spare tire, so that is why the light is on the dash.  Also the car will need tires in the very near future.       That is all that is wrong with this vehicle,,,NOTHING ELSE.          This car is exceptionally clean and straight and a very strong runner with no mechanical issues at all.  I am a very good seller here on Ebay.  Take a look at my feedback here on Ebay for past sales of these vehicles, all of them are positive feedback because i do not believe in selling anyone a faulty vehicle.  Anyone who purchases this vehicle will be very pleased with it and as stated above the extras do come with the car. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to call me at 724-984-3747 or email me here on Ebay, and i will answer any questions asked promptly. Thank you for looking,

Bring back the Bronco! Trademarks we hope are actually (someday) future car names

Tue, Mar 17 2015

Trademark filings are the tea leaves of the auto industry. Read them carefully – and interpret them correctly – and you might be previewing an automaker's future product plans. Yes, they're routinely filed to maintain the rights to an iconic name. And sometimes they're only for toys and clothing. But not always. Sometimes, the truth is right in front of us. The trademark is required because a company actually wants to use the name on a new car. With that in mind, here's a list of intriguing trademark filings we want to see go from paperwork to production reality. Trademark: Bronco Company: Ford Previous Use: The Bronco was a long-running SUV that lived from 1966-1996. It's one of America's original SUVs and was responsible for the increased popularity of the segment. Still, it's best known as O.J. Simpson's would-be getaway car. We think: The Bronco was an icon. Everyone seems to want a Wrangler-fighter – Ford used to have a good one. Enough time has passed that the O.J. police chase isn't the immediate image conjured by the Bronco anymore. Even if we're doing a wish list in no particular order, the Bronco still finds its way to the top. For now (unfortunately), it's just federal paperwork. Rumors on this one can get especially heated. The official word from a Ford spokesman is: "Companies renew trademark filings to maintain ownership and control of the mark, even if it is not currently used. Ford values the iconic Bronco name and history." Trademarks: Aviator, AV8R Company: Ford Previous Use: The Aviator was one of the shortest-run Lincolns ever, lasting for the 2003-2005 model years. It never found the sales success of the Ford Explorer, with which it shared a platform. We Think: The Aviator name no longer fits with Lincoln's naming nomenclature. Too bad, it's better than any other name Lincoln currently uses, save for its former big brother, the Navigator. Perhaps we're barking up the wrong tree, though. Ford has made several customized, aviation themed-Mustangs in the past, including one called the Mustang AV8R in 2008, which had cues from the US Air Force's F-22 Raptor fighter jet. It sold for $500,000 at auction, and the glass roof – which is reminiscent of a fighter jet cockpit – helped Ford popularize the feature. Trademark: EcoBeast Company: Ford Previous Use: None by major carmakers.

Trump did talk to Bill Ford, but the Kentucky plant was never moving to Mexico

Fri, Nov 18 2016

President-elect Donald J. Trump has been butting heads with Ford for a while now. A lot of it seems to stem from misunderstanding or misrepresenting facts about how the automaker currently does business and its plans for the future. After a sit-down with executive chairman Bill Ford Jr., the misunderstandings continue, but Trump has apparently convinced the company to make some changes. During his campaign, Trump claimed that Ford was going to fire US workers and move manufacturing to Mexico. That wasn't the case – yes, Ford planned to transfer Focus and C-Max production from Wayne, Michigan, to Cuautitlan, Mexico, but no, that wouldn't mean anyone losing their job. The Wayne plant will continue to operate, and likely busier than before, as it will be the home of the new Bronco and Ranger. So Ford CEO Mark Fields responded with the facts, and then chairman Bill Ford Jr. sat down with Trump over the summer. Things apparently weren't resolved to Trump's satisfaction, so he and Bill Ford spoke on the phone yesterday as he claims in this tweet: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Let's pick that apart. First off, it's not a Lincoln plant, per se – the Louisville Assembly Plant currently builds the Ford Escape and Lincoln MKC, two small crossovers that share a platform. Ford was considering moving MKC production out of Kentucky to Mexico, but it would not have resulted in many lost jobs if any – the union had already agreed to moving the MKC in 2015 negotiations, and taking production of the slow-selling Lincoln out of the plant would open up capacity for more Fords. Be that as it may, Ford has decided not to move MKC production out of the plant, either for political reasons of placation or because it didn't make the greatest deal of business sense, maybe a combination of the two. That means Trump isn't really saving any American jobs in the short term. If anything, this move could keep Ford supply-constrained and result in reduced sales, which in turn brings the company less money and affects the bottom line and all employees. But that's speculation, so we won't tweet it. There is of course the possibility that Ford will be convinced, either by sheer will or by a more attractive trade situation, to invest in increased US production, which could bear fruit later on. We are told by Ford that the two men did in fact speak yesterday.

Mulally to stay at Ford through end of 2014 at least

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

Alan Mulally isn't going anywhere... at least not just yet. The CEO who helped turn around Ford Motor Company has been linked to the top job at tech behemoth Microsoft, leading to a flurry of rumors about potential successors. Those rumors, though, may have just been put to rest - at least for a little while.
Speaking to Edsel Ford II (great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford) at the unveiling of the new Mustang, Automotive News Europe confirmed that Mulally would stick around until the end of next year. "Alan is staying through the end of 2014 and that's all I know," said Ford. "Frankly, he has told us that his plan is to stay with Ford through the end of 2014."
Presuming that Edsel Ford is correct and that Microsoft isn't so hot on Mulally that it saves the position for him, it seems increasingly likely that the 68-year-old exec is more interested in continuing to work in Dearborn rather than in Redmond.
