117,xxx. Miles will vary as I do drive this a few days for Security work. Runs and drives great. Shifts smooth. Everything works inside and out. No mechanical issues. Cold air and hot heat with rear window defroster. Power windows and locks Double spotlights with Go Rhino push bar. THE CAR NOW HAS 5% TINT ALL AROUND I have clean and clear OKLAHOMA Title and Registration in my name ! I have all the maintnenace required on it Was a Sheriff's Department vehicle. Was a detective car not the patrol type. 4 Speed Automatic with Overdrive Transmission 2 wheel drive - rear Four Door Sedan Duel exhaust Goes 140MPH Leather Seats, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, ABS Brakes, Alloy Wheels,A/M F/M Radio , Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, AM/FM Stereo, Power Seat(s), Cup Holders, CARPET INSIDE. Minor dings ,scratches all around and blemishes consistent with age and use. But not noticable unless you get up close. Tires have around 60% tread left or better and a spare tire ! Go-Rhino Push Bar 2 spotlights Mechanically: At 116K, FLEX FUEL , ALOT OF 2006 models do not come with FLEX FUEL BUT this one does - this car needs nothing but fuel to keep it going. There are no noises coming from the engine or transmission, no vibration or pulling on the steering wheel/tires, oil change + filter, new front brakes and rotors, rear brakes are at 70% , transmission filter/gasket & fluid replaced (MERCON V), drive belt is in good shape, air filter is good, all (8) spark plugs and coils are good by (MOTORCRAFT) and do not need replacement, new fuel filter.. This vehicle is a BULLET!! All just fully serviced. No leaks, no overheating, transmission shift smoothly and strong as it should, suspension nice and tight.. NICE AND FAST!!! Just REPLACED Serphantine belt on 10/28/13 UPDATE : 10/1/2013 Oil Change and New oil filter. Also there are 2,800 idle hours on it. THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON DUE TO NOT RECONNECTING AFTER EQUIPMENT WAS DISABLED. YOU JUST NEED TO TAKE OUT GLOVE BOX AND RECONNECT. OR IT CAN BE FIXED FOR $60 AT ANY FORD DEALERSHIP. I NEVER FIXED IT CAUSE IT DID NOT EFFECT THE CAR. Car Needs Thermostate For heater to work. A/C works GREAT !! 2015 Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival
Thu, Aug 13 2015Considered the big kick off of the major festivities surrounding Monterey Car Week, this year's Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival certainly didn't disappoint. For those unable to make it to the California coast, our own Drew Phillips was on hand to snap some of the beautiful vehicles on display for this gorgeous gallery. Held annually at the Monterey Jet Center, the event is always a feast for the eyes by collecting planes, a gang of exotic supercars, and some the top cars crossing the auction block over the coming days, like a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda convertible. The Ford GT both new and old was a major attendee at this year's party. Among them, the Petersen Museum brought along an original racecar and a GT40 MKIII to promote an upcoming exhibit. The classics were complimented by the latest version that has continued to keep tongues wagging. The GT wasn't the only classic with a modern update there. Singer used the posh event for the North American debut of its stunning restoration of the Porsche 911 Targa. Shelby American was also at the revival for the public unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe. On the more modern front, Honda was in attendance with the future NSX and one of the McLaren F1 cars that the company's engine powers. For further proof of the ritzy folks that attend this soiree, Pagani and Koenigsegg both had stands to show off their extremely quick wares.
Next-gen Ford Cobra Jet development underway, but will it be a Mustang?
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ford might be stepping away from the NHRA, but it isn't abandoning drag racing altogether. Hot Rod says that Ford confirmed a next-gen Cobra Jet factory drag racer is in the works, but the report also speculates that a new Cobra Jet could switch away from the Mustang nameplate.
Even though talk of a new Cobra Jet coincides with the all-new 2015 Mustang, the lack of confirmation for the dragster's platform leaves Hot Rod to guess that the car might switch to another platform - specifically a front-drive-based, unibody car like the Fusion or Taurus. We'd hate to think of a world with a NASCAR-ized dragster from Ford Racing, but it's also highly unlikely that the Mustang Cobra Jet would step away from its quarter-mile rivals like the Chevy COPO Camaro and Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.
2014 Ford Fusion order guide reveals new base Hybrid model, equipment changes
Tue, 23 Apr 2013We've gotten our grubby little digits on the dealer order guide for the as-yet-unreleased 2014 Ford Fusion thanks to an anonymous tipster, and while there isn't much that's unexpected, there are some meaningful equipment changes to report after the rakish sedan's first year on the market.
Mechanically, the big news is, of course, the recently confirmed availability of the 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder paired with a six-speed automatic. The powertrain replaces the 1.6-liter automatic setup of 2013, though if you want a manual transmission, you'll still get the extra .1-liter of displacement.
On the equipment front, there are newly available rear inflatable seatbelts - as seen previously on the Explorer - along with a new heated steering wheel and cooled seat option on Titanium and Titanium Hybrid models (the latter two options will be late availability).
