We have for sale a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor P71, with 81328 miles on its certified odometer/speedometer. This car is a one owner vehicle purchased by a local municipal police department new and then purchased by us from them. The car was maintained by the department on a regular basis and is in excellent mechanical condition. Our in house service department went over the entire car and inspected and serviced it, everything on this car works as is should. The heat is hot, the air conditioning is ice cold and all of the power door locks and windows work. The car runs and drives 100% and the transmission shifts perfectly.
Our body shop went over the car a put a fresh coat of blue paint on since the old paint was scratched and starting to fade. The car has the street appearance package on the outside, a chrome grill, chrome bumper moldings and full wheel covers which we replaced with new since the originals were scratched badly. This car looks like a normal or civilian Crown Victoria going down the road with the exception of the rear deck lid which has the "Police Interceptor" emblem on it. This car has all the normal Ford P71 package features such as a 200 amp alternator, sway bars, heavy duty suspension and frame, transmission and oil coolers, dual exhaust and a limited slip rear differential.
The interior of the car is black/gray, with rubber floors front and rear. The car does have a power drivers seat which also works. The rear seats look brand new and the front seat shows minimal wear for a car of this age. The added interior report light has the optional red coloring for writing/reading at night without loosing your night vision and cutting down on exposure with the light on. The trunk has a full size spare tire and jack. This is an excellent chance to own a true police interceptor that does not have 150,000 miles on it and is in great shape mechanically and looks good going do the road. You can get in this car a drive it without spending another dime on it. The 2004 CVPI has an almost "cult" following and is rumored to be the fastest of its breed, this I can not say but this is a nice example of the car.

Ford GT, Buick Avenir and Audi Q7 take 2015 EyesOn Design awards
Thu, Jan 15 2015The annual EyesOn Design Awards at the Detroit Auto Show allows some of the greatest designers in the world to weigh in on the best production and concept debuts at the big event each year. For 2015, the large panel of judges included luminaries like Frank Stephenson of McLaren, Ralph Gilles from FCA and Moray Callum of Ford. Apparently the editors at Autoblog had a good eye because the winner of 2015's Best Designed Production Vehicle award went to the Ford GT, which was also our favorite debut from the show. The new supercar beat the Acura NSX and Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Coupe for the honor. The judges described the Blue Oval's shape as "capturing the original GT40 in a modern interpretation," according to EyesOn Design. The Buick Avenir was also a big winner in the awards this year and received the nods for both Best Designed Concept Vehicle and Innovative Use of Color, Graphics and Materials. In the concept category, it beat out the Chevrolet Bolt and Mercedes-Benz F 015, and in the latter group, the sedan triumphed over Audi Q7, Mercedes F 015 and Volkswagen Cross Coupe GTE. The Q7 received its own accolade for Best Designed Interior, and it beat the Avenir and Infiniti Q60 for the honor. This year's Lifetime Design Achievement Award went to former Renault designer Patrick le Quement, and Bob Lutz received the EyesOn Design Catalyst Award for the second time. The honor is for an executive "who has empowered great design," according to the organization, which describes Lutz perfectly. Drive Ford's new Mustang in Need For Speed Rivals
Mon, 16 Dec 2013If waiting for the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang to hit dealerships is just too tall of an order, you'll be happy to hear that there is now an alternative means of getting behind the wheel of America's favorite pony car. The Mustang is making its video game debut in Need For Speed Rivals.
"We worked closely with the development team at EA to provide them with engineering data for the new Mustang, several months before we showed it to the rest of the world," said Ford product licensing manager Mark Bentley. "Computer design models enabled the game developers to create an accurate representation of the new Mustang before it goes on sale."
Players will have access to five unique designs for the Mustang, allowing a degree of individuality beyond solid colors and decals. According to Digital Marketing Manager Andrea Zuehlk of Ford, those designs are drawn from the four most popular designs on the Mustang Customizer, an online, mobile and tablet app that allows the public to design their own custom Mustang. A fifth design, penned by drift racer Vaughn Gittin, Jr., is also available.
