The Bronco has a Clear “California Title” in my name and Registration is current! The Bronco was painted white approx. 4 years ago and is in good shape. The front grill and bumpers are painted gunmetal metallic grey. The bronco will need its small paint touch ups due to its minor scratches and chips from road debris. There is a minor dent on the driver side lower rocker panel. Other than those things mentioned the bronco is very solid and rust free!! The body is in very good solid condition. There is No Rust located on the floor boards, frames, tailgate or fender areas! The car is very solid for its year. This bronco runs good and can be driven daily if desired. It drives nice and straight on the road and highway. The bronco has front and rear drum brakes. If anything I would recommend a power brake booster to be added for a softer brake pedal due to it having front drum brakes. The interior has been fully Herculined for an easy water rinse off after off roading!! Has Original solid and rust free Hard Top!! Nice black Bikini Soft top included!! Original chrome window trimmings in good condition! All window glass and windshield are in real good condition with no cracks! Nice aggressive looking aftermarket fiberglass hood!! Nice aftermarket roll bar/cage! Has nice front and rear tubular bumpers. (Bronco is wired with a trailer light adapter/connector located under the rear bumper in case you need to tow). The bronco has aftermarket front high rise seats and aftermarket rear bench seat with flip down child seat! Seats are in good condition with minor signs of wear. (see pictures). Original dual gas tanks!! (auxiliary tank has a leak possible bad hose). Has very clean front grill and headlight bezels! B&M auto Floor shifter!! All Original dash and gauges. (fuel gauge not working). Headlights lights and turn signals are functional!! Reverse light switch needs to be connected. Wipers are functional! New aftermarket chrome Steering Wheel. “Clarion” CD AM/FM stereo with two “Sony” 6x9 speakers!! Front and rear Suspension was rebuilt approx. two years ago with “Wild Horses” Suspension” parts. Front coils and Rear leaf springs are made by “Wild Horses” (leaf spring part #1132) which is a 3 1/2 Inch lift. Has also new body bushings and ball joints. Bronco rides very smooth and straight!! Has new power steering pump and power steering box! Upgraded Aluminum aftermarket Radiator!! The Bronco sits on four polished 15 inch “Eagle Alloy” wheels with 33 x 12.50 “Dunlop Radial Rover” tires. Tires and wheels are in very good condition. The Bronco is powered by a 351 CID Windsor engine! The engine has a very mild camshaft almost stock for every day cruising. Engine has approx. 6000 miles. The Bronco has a C4 Automatic transmission with a transmission cooler. Transmission shifts good. There are no oil leaks from the engine. Engine compression ratio is 9:1 and can be driven daily if desired. Has aftermarket aluminum performance Intake manifold! New Polished Holley 4 Barrel (List #1850-14) 600 CFM Carburetor!! Has Upgraded electronic distributor with MSD coil. Polished aluminum belt pulleys! Polished “Ford Racing” Valve Covers! Chrome “Ford Racing” Air Cleaner! Ceramic coated “Hooker Comp Headers” with Dual exhaust system!! Engine sounds nice. The Bronco has its Original ford 9 inch rear Differential!! Original Dana 44 front end differential!!! Warn locking hubs! The Bronco runs good. Car gets a lot of compliments and has been reliable to me. Serious bidders only! Seller has the right to cancel bids from bidders with zero or negative feedback. Please email me with any other questions if needed, thanks. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 (USD) is required from winning bidder within 24 hours after bidding/auction has ended. The remainder of balance is due within 7 days of auction ending. Vehicle will not be released until full payment has been received and cleared from my bank. Vehicle is being sold“AS IS” with “No Warranty.” Buyer is responsible for Shipment/Transportation of Vehicle. |

2020 Ford Explorer safer than old model; crash test ratings short of Top Safety Pick
Mon, Dec 16 2019The 2020 Ford Explorer three-row crossover has improved on the outgoing model in many ways. According to the IIHS, it has also improved in a number of safety categories, but not enough to earn a Top Safety Pick award. The culprit is not the headlight performance for once. The Explorer's headlights were given an "Acceptable" rating, which would be sufficient for Top Safety Pick, if not Top Safety Pick +. Where the Ford falls short is in the front small overlap driver-side crash test, in which it got the second highest "Acceptable" rating. The IIHS requires a "Good" rating in this category, whereas an "Acceptable" rating on the passenger side would be, well, acceptable for Top Safety Pick. According to IIHS, Ford will be reviewing the results to figure out what the issue is, and it will likely make revisions to future Explorers to improve the result. Other than the one test, the Explorer performed admirably. It received a "Good" rating in all other crash categories except the passenger-side small overlap that was not tested. Both its standard and optional forward collision prevention systems had the highest "Superior" ratings, with the standard one preventing a collision with a car at speeds of up to 25 mph, and the optional one avoiding a collision at 12 mph, and "nearly" preventing one at 25 mph. Headlights are rated as "Acceptable" and so is access to child seat LATCH anchors. Also worth noting is that the Explorer's crash test ratings apply to its luxurious twin the 2020 Lincoln Aviator, meaning it also doesn't get a Top Safety Pick rating. The forward collision system performed the same as in the Ford, and the only difference between the two was in headlight performance. The Lincoln's standard headlights, included on the base, Reserve and Grand Touring trims, have the second-lowest "Marginal" rating, but the optional headlights for those trims, and the standard ones on the Black Label trim, received the "Good" rating. Among three-row Explorer competitors, the Honda Pilot, Hyundai Santa Fe XL, Kia Telluride, Nissan Pathfinder and Toyota Highlander all have a Top Safety Pick. The Hyundai Palisade, Mazda CX-9, Subaru Ascent, and the slightly smaller Kia Sorento and Volkswagen Tiguan all have a Top Safety Pick +. As for Lincoln Aviator competitors, the Cadillac XT6, Infiniti QX60, Lexus RX and Volvo XC90 get a Top Safety Pick. The Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class and two-row-only BMW X5 get the Top Safety Pick + rating. Related Video: Â Â Â
Ford and OMS bring military ride-and-drive program to Hockenheimring
Tue, Jun 9 2015This post is appearing on Autoblog Military, Autoblog's sub-site dedicated to the vehicles, aircraft and ships of the world's armed forces. It kind of goes without saying, but joining the military means you won't be enjoying quite as much leisure time as members of the civilian world. That said, when a chance to let your hair down does come along, servicemembers usually enjoy some very unique opportunities... like driving a new Ford Mustang and F-150 around Germany's Hockenheimring. Ford and the Overseas Military Sales Corporation, the on-base retailer for the Blue Oval and the same outfit that worked out a raffle program for servicemembers to purchase the limited-edition 50th Anniversary Mustang, put together the ride-and-drive program at Germany's second most famous circuit. The OMS allows military men and women to purchase vehicles for both on-base use and for pickup when they arrive back in the United States. "The Ford Driving Freedom ride-and-drive event is designed to introduce the new 2015 Ford Mustang and F-150 to military personnel who are stationed on US bases across Europe," Ford fleet sales manager Doug Walczak said in the attached statement. "It's the first time such an event has been held overseas." According to Ford, over 300 servicemen and women applied to take part in this pilot program, which was more than double what Ford and OMS had room for. With such an impressive response rate, it's no surprise that similar events could come to other US bases. Scroll down for the official press release from Ford. U.S. Military Personnel Take Ford Mustang, F-150 for a Ride at Hockenheimring Racetrack · Ford and the Overseas Military Sales Corporation host first-ever Ford Driving Freedom ride-and-drive event for U.S. military personnel stationed on bases across Europe · U.S. military personnel got the unique opportunity to drive the Ford F-150 and Ford Mustang on Hockenheimring racetrack in Germany · Ford has worked with Overseas Military Sales Corporation since 1995 to offer Ford and Lincoln vehicles for sale throughout the Americas, as well as in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, as well as on select Navy ships HOCKENHEIMRING, Germany, June 9, 2015 – Members of the U.S. military got the unique opportunity to take a test drive of the Ford F-150 and Mustangtoday at Germany's famed Hockenheimring racetrack.
Production Ford Escort heading for Beijing
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Ford's long-dormant Escort nameplate returned affixed to a sedan concept at last year's Shanghai Motor Show. While not exactly a beauty, it showed a clean, straightforward take on Ford's current styling. The Blue Oval said at the time that it wanted to create a model that was stylish "but not one that is arrogant or pretentious." Job done. A year later, it looks like the minimalist vehicle might make its production debut at the Beijing Motor Show.
Autocar claims that the streetgoing version has been confirmed to it for the upcoming show, but so far, Ford isn't saying. If unveiled, the Escort is likely to be produced locally for the Chinese market with a domestic partner. Powertrain details remain a secret, but it seems highly likely that any production model would use a small three- or four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive. Sales in other major world markets like ours are unlikely, but a test car was recently spotted in Europe.
Autoblog contacted Ford for confirmation, but the automaker demurred, with a spokesperson saying only, "At the moment, we are not confirming any vehicles planned for the show." It looks like we will have to wait to know for sure.
