Second owner 1970 Ford Bronco Sport. 302 V8 manual transmission. Runs great, drives great. Front floor pans are rusted out as are the back of the rear wheel wells. I have the replacement panels for the rusted ones. It also has minor surface rust on the lower portion of the windshield frame and front of the hood. The rain channel on the hard top was not properly sealed when it was painted and it caused it to rust out. I have a second hard top, in great shape, if wanted for $500.00. Second top will be included if buy it now is used or vehicle sells for $10,000.00 or more. It has less than 3,000 miles on the tires. Has new battery cables, starter and starter solenoid. Has Hurst shifter on the floor, converted from the tree. I also have a set of new front drum brakes and some other extra parts. This is a great solid bronco that has minor cosmetic repairs needed. There is no door drop and the panels are very solid. I was planning on painting it and fixing the minor rust but just don't have the time or resources. Buyer is responsible for shipping, local pic up only. I will be willing to meet a shipper that the buyer arranges within 20 miles of 78248 zip. It is for sale locally so I have the right to end auction early if sold local. Payment in full must be received within 7 days, No personal checks or PayPal. Certified bank check or bank money order only. Please message me with any questions about this bronco or email me @ tjweber79@hotmail.com. I have additional pictures, if interested email.

How that awesome Mustang R/C car chase vid was made
Tue, 06 Aug 2013We've reported on a few R/C car chase videos in the past. One in particular that stands out as a favorite is Zach King's "The Cliché RC Action Chase." It featured a pair of Ford Mustang coupes racing through a cardboard city, plowing into outdoor patios and busting through construction zones. It was wonderfully creative and fun to watch, yet we know there was more to its creation than a bunch of guys fooling around with a camera one afternoon.
Turns out we were right, as evidenced by this video produced by Ford that takes us behind the scenes of Zach's creation. The young filmmaker explains why he chose the Mustang to star in his video, as well as how the cardboard sets were created, what equipment they used for shooting and what it was like when his video went viral. Ford found the young filmmaker and produced the followup as part of its Mustang Countdown video series, which will see a new video about the Mustang culture released every week until the original muscle car's anniversary on April 17, 2014.
Want to make an RC chase video of your own? Yeah, we do too. Watch the behind-the-scenes video below (you can refresh yourself on the mini feature film, too) before you get started.
Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort
Fri, 24 May 2013Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.
William Clay Ford Sr. dead at 88
Sun, 09 Mar 2014William Clay Ford, retired vice chairman of Ford Motor Company and the last surviving grandchild of company founder Henry Ford, died this morning after a bout with pneumonia. He was 88.
Ford spent 57 years with his grandfather's company, joining the board of directors in 1948 before graduating from college. Ford also held a position as chairman of the design committee, as well as the chairman of the executive committee and vice chairman of the Board of Directors during his tenure with the company. In a 2013 Detroit Free Press story, retired CFO Allan Gilmour said Ford had an eye for design, and was once able to pick out when a fiberglass model of a Ford Contour was asymmetrical, off by an inch on one side. He retired and assumed the position of director emeritus in 2005.
"My father was a great business leader and humanitarian who dedicated his life to the company and the community," said Bill Ford, Jr., Ford's current executive chairman. "He also was a wonderful family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, yet he will continue to inspire us all."
